Sunan an-Nasa'i 1400
'Amr bin Dinar narrated that:
He heard Jabir bin 'Abdullah say: "A man came when the Prophet (SAW) was on the minbar on a Friday. He said to him: 'Have you prayed two rak'ahs?' He said: 'No.' He said: 'Pray.'"
أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ، وَيُوسُفُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، - وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ - قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، يَقُولُ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ وَالنَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَقَالَ لَهُ " أَرَكَعْتَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ " . قَالَ لاَ . قَالَ " فَارْكَعْ " .

It was narrated that 'Abdullah said:
"I prayed two rak'ahs with the Messenger of Allah (SAW) on a journey, and two rak'ahs with Abu Bakr, and two rak'ahs with 'Umar, may Allah (SWT) be pleased with them both."

Sunan an-Nasa'i 1677
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:
"My dearest friend advised me (to do) three things: 'To sleep after praying Witr, to fast three days each month, and to pray two rak'ahs of Fajr.'"

Sunan an-Nasa'i 3214
Narrated Samurah bin Jundab:
It was narrated from Samurah bin Jundab that the Prophet forbade celibacy. Abu Abdur-Rahman said: Qatadah is more reliable and better preserves narrations than Ash'ath but the hadith of Ash'ath (here) appears to be the correct one. Allah, Most High, knows best.
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم . أَنَّهُ نَهَى عَنِ التَّبَتُّلِ . قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَتَادَةُ أَثْبَتُ وَأَحْفَظُ مِنْ أَشْعَثَ وَحَدِيثُ أَشْعَثَ أَشْبَهُ بِالصَّوَابِ وَاللَّهُ تَعَالَى أَعْلَمُ .

Narrated Jabir:
It was narrated that Jabir said: "The Messenger of Allah met me and said: 'O Jabir, have you got married to a woman since I last saw you?' I said: 'Yes, O Messenger of Allah.' He said: 'To a virgin or to a previously-married woman?' I said: 'To a previously-married woman.' He said: 'Why not a virgin, so she could play with you?'"
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ قَزَعَةَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ حَبِيبٍ - عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ لَقِيَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ " يَا جَابِرُ هَلْ أَصَبْتَ امْرَأَةً بَعْدِي " . قُلْتُ نَعَمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ . قَالَ " أَبِكْرًا أَمْ أَيِّمًا " . قُلْتُ أَيِّمًا . قَالَ " فَهَلاَّ بِكْرًا تُلاَعِبُكَ " .

It was narrated from Abu Musa that:
The Prophet [SAW] said: "If two Muslims confront each other with swords, and one kills the other, they will both be in Hell." It was said: "O Messenger of Allah, (we understand about) the killer, but what about the one who is killed?" He said: "He wanted to kill his companion."
أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " إِذَا تَوَاجَهَ الْمُسْلِمَانِ بِسَيْفَيْهِمَا فَقَتَلَ أَحَدُهُمَا صَاحِبَهُ فَهُمَا فِي النَّارِ " . قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ هَذَا الْقَاتِلُ فَمَا بَالُ الْمَقْتُولِ قَالَ " أَرَادَ قَتْلَ صَاحِبِهِ " .

Jabir said:
"The Messenger of Allah forbade charging stud fees for a camel, the sale of water, the renting of land for cultivation. Selling one's land and water, this is what the Prophet forbade."
أَخْبَرَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ، قَالَ قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرًا، يَقُولُ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنْ بَيْعِ ضِرَابِ الْجَمَلِ وَعَنْ بَيْعِ الْمَاءِ وَبَيْعِ الأَرْضِ لِلْحَرْثِ يَبِيعُ الرَّجُلُ أَرْضَهُ وَمَاءَهُ فَعَنْ ذَلِكَ نَهَى النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم .

Sunan Abi Dawud 2107
Urwah reported on the authority of Umm Habibah that she was married to Abdullah ibn Jahsh who died in Abyssinia, so the Negus married her to the Prophet (saws) giving her on his behalf a dower of four thousand (dirhams). He sent her to the Messenger of Allah (saws) with Shurahbil ibn Hasanah. AbuDawud said:
Hasanah is his mother.
حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ أَبِي يَعْقُوبَ الثَّقَفِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَلَّى بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ، أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ تَحْتَ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَحْشٍ فَمَاتَ بِأَرْضِ الْحَبَشَةِ فَزَوَّجَهَا النَّجَاشِيُّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَأَمْهَرَهَا عنه أَرْبَعَةَ آلاَفٍ وَبَعَثَ بِهَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مَعَ شُرَحْبِيلَ ابْنِ حَسَنَةَ . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ حَسَنَةُ هِيَ أُمُّهُ .

Abu Dawud said: Mahna' is reliable and he is from Basrah.

It was narrated that Ibrahim said:
"Alqamah prayed five (rak'ahs) and when he said the taslim, Ibrahim bin Suwaid said : 'O Abu Shibl, you prayed five!' He said: 'Is that true, O odd-eyed one?' Then he prostrated two prostrations of forgetfulness, then he said: 'This is what the Messenger of Allah (SAW) did.'"
أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، أَنَّ عَلْقَمَةَ، صَلَّى خَمْسًا فَلَمَّا سَلَّمَ قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سُوَيْدٍ يَا أَبَا شِبْلٍ صَلَّيْتَ خَمْسًا . فَقَالَ أَكَذَلِكَ يَا أَعْوَرُ فَسَجَدَ سَجْدَتَىِ السَّهْوِ ثُمَّ قَالَ هَكَذَا فَعَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم .

The Messenger of Allah (SAW) led the people in offering the fear prayer, two rak'ahs. Then he said the taslim and led others in offering the fear prayer, then he said the taslim. So the Prophet (SAW) had prayed four rak'ahs.
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى، وَإِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ، - وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ - قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، عَنْ أَشْعَثَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم صَلَّى بِالْقَوْمِ فِي الْخَوْفِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ ثُمَّ صَلَّى بِالْقَوْمِ الآخَرِينَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ فَصَلَّى النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَرْبَعًا .

Ibn Umar told them that :
A man asked the Messenger of Allah (SAW)about prayers at night, and he said: "Two by two, then if one of you fears that dawn will come, let him pray witr with one."

Sunan an-Nasa'i 1731
It was narrated from Ibn Abdur-Rahman bin Abza from his father that:
The Messenger of Allah (SAW) used to recite in Witr: "Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High;" and "Say: O you disbelievers!;' and 'Say: He is Allah, (the) One.'"

It was narrated that Sa'sa'ah bin Mu'awiyah said:
"I met Abu Dharr and said: 'Tell me a Hadith.' He said: the Messenger of Allah said: There are no two Muslims, three of whose children die before reaching puberty, but Allah will forgive them by virtue of His mercy towards them."'
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ صَعْصَعَةَ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ، قَالَ لَقِيتُ أَبَا ذَرٍّ قُلْتُ حَدِّثْنِي . قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمَيْنِ يَمُوتُ بَيْنَهُمَا ثَلاَثَةُ أَوْلاَدٍ لَمْ يَبْلُغُوا الْحِنْثَ إِلاَّ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُمَا بِفَضْلِ رَحْمَتِهِ إِيَّاهُمْ " .

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet said:
"If a slave steals, then sell him, even for half price." (Hasan)
Abu 'Abdur-Rahman (An-Nasai) said: 'Umar bin Abi Salamah is not strong in Hadith.

It was narrated that 'Ali said:
"The Messenger of Allah [SAW] forbade me- but I do not say that he forbade you- from wearing rings of gold, and from wearing Al-Qassi, and from wearing Al-Mufaddam (garments dyed deep red) and Al-Mu'asfar (garments dyed with safflower), and from reciting Qur'an while bowing."

The Messenger of Allah said: "There is no vow to commit an act of disobedience and its expiation is the expiation for an oath." Mansur bin Zadhan contradicted him in his wording.

Sunan an-Nasa'i 1554
Jabir bin 'Abdullah narrated that :
The Messenger of Allah (SAW) led his companions in offering the fear prayer. One group prayed with him while the other was facing the enemy. He led them in praying two rak'ahs, then they went and took the place of the others, and the others came and he led them in praying two rak'ahs, then he said the taslim.
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَ جَابِرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم صَلَّى بِأَصْحَابِهِ صَلاَةَ الْخَوْفِ فَصَلَّتْ طَائِفَةٌ مَعَهُ وَطَائِفَةٌ وُجُوهُهُمْ قِبَلَ الْعَدُوِّ فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ قَامُوا مَقَامَ الآخَرِينَ وَجَاءَ الآخَرُونَ فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ .

It was narrated that 'Ata said:
"I was told that Umm Habibah bin Abi Sufyan said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah (SAW) say: 'Whoever prays twelve rak'ahs during the day and night, apart from the prescribed prayers, Allah (SWT) will build for him a house in Paradise.'"
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْدَانَ بْنِ عِيسَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَعْيَنَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْقِلٌ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، قَالَ أُخْبِرْتُ أَنَّ أُمَّ حَبِيبَةَ بِنْتَ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " مَنْ رَكَعَ ثِنْتَىْ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً فِي يَوْمِهِ وَلَيْلَتِهِ سِوَى الْمَكْتُوبَةِ بَنَى اللَّهُ لَهُ بِهَا بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ " .

'Abdullah bin 'Amr used to say:
"The Messenger of Allah forbade offering more for something that has already been bought by his brother, or for a man to propose marriage to a woman when someone else has already proposed to her, unless the previous suitor gave up the idea or gave him permission."
أَخْبَرَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ سَمِعْتُ نَافِعًا، يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ، كَانَ يَقُولُ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنْ يَبِيعَ بَعْضُكُمْ عَلَى بَيْعِ بَعْضٍ وَلاَ يَخْطُبُ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى خِطْبَةِ الرَّجُلِ حَتَّى يَتْرُكَ الْخَاطِبُ قَبْلَهُ أَوْ يَأْذَنَ لَهُ الْخَاطِبُ .

It was narrated that Salamah bin Al-Muhabbaq said:
"The Prophet passed judgment concerning a man who had intercourse with his wife's slave woman: 'If he forced her, then she is free, and he has to give her mistress a similar slave as a replacement; if she obeyed him in that, then she belongs to him, and he has to give her mistress a similar slave as a replacement.'"
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ قَبِيصَةَ بْنِ حُرَيْثٍ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْمُحَبَّقِ، قَالَ قَضَى النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي رَجُلٍ وَطِئَ جَارِيَةَ امْرَأَتِهِ " إِنْ كَانَ اسْتَكْرَهَهَا فَهِيَ حُرَّةٌ وَعَلَيْهِ لِسَيِّدَتِهَا مِثْلُهَا وَإِنْ كَانَتْ طَاوَعَتْهُ فَهِيَ لَهُ وَعَلَيْهِ لِسَيِّدَتِهَا مِثْلُهَا " .

It was narrated from Al-Hasan and 'Abdullah, the sons of Muhammad, from their father, that 'Ali heard that a man did not see anything wrong with Mut'ah (temporary marriage). He said:
"You are confused, the Messenger of Allah forbade it, and the meat of domestic donkeys on the day of Khaibar."
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الزُّهْرِيُّ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ، ابْنَىْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِمَا، أَنَّ عَلِيًّا، بَلَغَهُ أَنَّ رَجُلاً، لاَ يَرَى بِالْمُتْعَةِ بَأْسًا فَقَالَ إِنَّكَ تَائِهٌ إِنَّهُ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنْهَا وَعَنْ لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ الأَهْلِيَّةِ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ .

Sunan an-Nasa'i 4891
It was narrated from Jabir that:
a woman from Banu Makhzum stole (something), and she was brought to the Prophet. She sought the protection of Umm Salamah, but the Prophet said: "If Fatimah bint Muhammad were to steal, I would cut off her hand." And he ordered that her hand be cut off.
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْدَانَ بْنِ عِيسَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَعْيَنَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْقِلٌ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، أَنَّ امْرَأَةً، مِنْ بَنِي مَخْزُومٍ سَرَقَتْ فَأُتِيَ بِهَا النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَعَاذَتْ بِأُمِّ سَلَمَةَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لَوْ كَانَتْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتَ مُحَمَّدٍ لَقَطَعْتُ يَدَهَا " . فَقُطِعَتْ يَدُهَا .

Sunan an-Nasa'i 5102
It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin Murrah, from Al-Harith, from 'Abdullah, who said:
"The one who consumes Riba, the one who pays it, and the one who writes it down, if they know that it is Riba; the woman who does tattoos and the woman who has that done for the purpose of beautification; the one who withholds Sadaqah (Zakah); and the one who reverts to the life of a Bedouin after having emigrated- they will (all) be cursed upon the tongue of Muhammad [SAW] on the Day of Resurrection."

"Whoever keeps a horse for the cause of Allah out of faith in Allah and believing the promise of Allah, its feed, water, urine and dung will all count as Hasanat in the balance of his deeds."
قَالَ الْحَارِثُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ قِرَاءَةً عَلَيْهِ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ، عَنِ ابْنِ وَهْبٍ، حَدَّثَنِي طَلْحَةُ بْنُ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، أَنَّ سَعِيدًا الْمَقْبُرِيَّ، حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " مَنِ احْتَبَسَ فَرَسًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ إِيمَانًا بِاللَّهِ وَتَصْدِيقًا لِوَعْدِ اللَّهِ كَانَ شِبَعُهُ وَرِيُّهُ وَبَوْلُهُ وَرَوْثُهُ حَسَنَاتٍ فِي مِيزَانِهِ " .

Hammad ibn Zayd said:
I asked Ayyub: Do you know anyone who narrates the tradition narrated by Al-Hasan about uttering the words (addressing wife). "Your matter is in your hand"? He replied: No, except something similar transmitted by Qatadah from Kathir, the client of Samurah, from AbuSalamah on the authority of AbuHurayrah from the Prophet (saws). Ayyub said: Kathir then came to us; so I asked him (about this matter). He replied: I never narrated it. I mentioned it to Qatadah who said: Yes (he narrated it) but he forgot.

Abu Dharr said:
We were in the company of the Prophet (saws). The mu'adhdhin intended to call for the Zuhr prayer. He said: Make it cooler. He then intended to call for prayer. He said twice or thrice: Make it cooler. We then witnessed the shadow of the mounds. He then said: The intensity of heat comes from the bubbling over of the Hell ; so when the heat is violent, offer (the Zuhr) prayer when it becomes cooler.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الْحَسَنِ، - قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ هُوَ مُهَاجِرٌ - قَالَ سَمِعْتُ زَيْدَ بْنَ وَهْبٍ، يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا ذَرٍّ، يَقُولُ كُنَّا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَأَرَادَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ أَنْ يُؤَذِّنَ الظُّهْرَ فَقَالَ " أَبْرِدْ " . ثُمَّ أَرَادَ أَنْ يُؤَذِّنَ فَقَالَ " أَبْرِدْ " . مَرَّتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلاَثًا حَتَّى رَأَيْنَا فَىْءَ التُّلُولِ ثُمَّ قَالَ " إِنَّ شِدَّةَ الْحَرِّ مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ فَإِذَا اشْتَدَّ الْحَرُّ فَأَبْرِدُوا بِالصَّلاَةِ " .

حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ وَكِيعٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ الإِيَادِيِّ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِنَّ الْجَنَّةَ تَشْتَاقُ إِلَى ثَلاَثَةٍ عَلِيٍّ وَعَمَّارٍ وَسَلْمَانَ " . هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ لاَ نَعْرِفُهُ إِلاَّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ .

`A'isha said:

I asked how Abu Bakr's good deeds compared and he replied, "All `Umar's good deeds are like one of Abu Bakr's good deeds."

أَهَهُنَا أَحَدٌ مِنْ قَوْمِ هَذَا الرَّجُلِ الَّذِي يَزْعُمُ أَنَّهُ نَبِيٌّ ، قَالُوا : نَعَمْ ، قَالَ : فَدُعِيتُ فِي نَفَرٍ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ ، فَدَخَلْنَا عَلَى هِرَقْلَ ، فَجَلَسْنَا إِلَيْهِ ، فَقَالَ : أَيُّكُمْ أَقْرَبُ نَسَبًا مِنْ هَذَا الرَّجُلِ الَّذِي يَزْعُمُ أَنَّهُ نَبِيٌّ ؟ ، قَالَ أَبُو سُفْيَانَ : قُلْتُ : أَنَا ، فَأَجْلَسُونِي بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ ، وَأَجْلَسُوا أَصْحَابِي خَلْفِي ، ثُمَّ دَعَا بِتَرْجُمَانِهِ ، فَقَالَ : قُلْ لَهُمْ إِنِّي سَائِلٌ هَذَا عَنْ هَذَا الرَّجُلِ الَّذِي يَزْعُمُ أَنَّهُ نَبِيٌّ ، فَإِنْ كَذَبَ فَكَذِّبُوهُ ، قَالَ أَبُو سُفْيَانَ : وَايْمُ اللَّهِ لَوْلا أَنْ يُؤْثَرَ عَلِيَّ الْكَذِبَ لَكَذَبْتُ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ لِتَرْجُمَانِهِ : سَلْهُ كَيْفَ حَسَبُهُ فِيكُمْ ؟ قَالَ : قُلْتُ : هُوَ فِينَا ذُو حَسَبٍ ، قَالَ : فَهَلْ كَانَ مِنْ آبَائِهِ مَلِكٌ ؟ قَالَ : قُلْتُ : لا ، قَالَ : فَهَلْ كُنْتُمْ تَتَّهِمُونَهُ بِالْكَذِبِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَقُولَهُ ؟ قَالَ : قُلْتُ : لا ، قَالَ : فَمَنِ اتَّبَعَهُ ؟ أَشْرَافُكُمْ أُمْ ضُعَفَاؤُكُمْ ؟ ، قُلْتُ : بَلْ فَهَلْ قَالَ هَذَا الْقَوْلَ أَحَدٌ قَبْلَهُ ؟ ، قُلْتُ : لا ، قَالَ لِتَرْجُمَانِهِ : قُلْ لَهُ إِنِّي سَأَلْتُكُمْ عَنْ حَسَبُهُ ، فَقُلْتَ : إِنَّهُ فِينَا ذُو حَسَبٍ ، وَكَذَلِكَ الرُّسُلُ تَبْعَثُ فِي أَحْسَابِ قَوْمِهَا ، وَسَأَلْتُكَ هَلْ كَانَ فِي آبَائِهِ مَلِكٌ ؟ فَزَعَمْتَ أَنْ لا ، فَقُلْتُ : لَوْ كَانَ مِنْ آبَائِهِ مَلِكٌ ، قُلْتُ رَجُلٌ يَطْلُبُ مُلْكَ آبَائِهِ ، وَسَأَلْتُكَ عَنْ أَتْبَاعِهِ أَضُعَفَاؤُهُمْ أَمْ أَشِدَّاؤُهُمْ ؟ قَالَ : فَقُلْتَ : بَلْ ضُعَفَاؤُهُمْ ، وَهُمْ أَتْبَاعُ الرُّسُلِ ، وَسَأَلْتُكَ : هَلْ كُنْتُمْ تَتَّهِمُونَهُ بِالْكَذِبِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَقُولَ مَا قَالَ ؟ فَزَعَمْتَ أَنْ لا ، فَقَدْ عَرَفْتُ أَنَّهُ لَمْ يَكُنْ لِيَدَعِ الْكَذِبَ عَلَى النَّاسِ ، ثُمَّ يَذْهَبُ فَيَكْذِبُ عَلَى اللَّهِ وَسَأَلْتُكَ هَلْ يَرْتَدُّ أَحَدٌ مِنْهُمْ عَنْ دِينِهِ بَعْدَ أَنْ يَدْخُلَ فِيهِ سَخْطَةً لَهُ ؟ فَزَعَمْتَ أَنْ لا ، وَكَذَلِكَ الإِيمَانُ إِذَا خَالَطَ بَشَاشَةَ الْقُلُوبِ ، وَسَأَلْتُكَ : هَلْ يَزِيدُونَ أَمْ يَنْقُصُونَ ؟ فَزَعَمْتَ أَنَّهُمْ يَزِيدُونَ ، وَكَذَلِكَ الإِيمَانُ لا يَزَالُ إِلَى أَنْ يَتِمَّ ، وَسَأَلْتُكَ هَلْ قَاتَلْتُمُوهُ ؟ فَزَعَمْتَ أَنَّكُمْ قَاتَلْتُمُوهُ ، فَيَكُونُ الْحَرْبُ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَهُ سِجَالا ، يَنَالُ مِنْكُمْ وَتَنَالُونَ مِنْهُ ، وَكَذَلِكَ الرُّسُلُ تُبْتَلَى ، ثُمَّ تَكُونُ لَهُمُ الْعَاقِبَةُ ، وَسَأَلْتُكَ هَلْ يَغْدُرُ ؟ فَزَعَمْتَ أَنَّهُ لا يَغْدُرُ ، وَكَذَلِكَ الرُّسُلُ لا تَغْدُرُ ، وَسَأَلْتُكَ هَلْ قَالَ أَحَدٌ هَذَا الْقَوْلَ قَبْلَهُ ؟ فَزَعَمْتَ أَنْ لا ، فَقُلْتُ : لَوْ كَانَ هَذَا الْقَوْلُ قَالَهُ أَحَدٌ قَبْلَهُ ، قُلْتُ : رَجُلٌ ائْتَمَّ بِقَوْلٍ قِيلَ قَبْلَهُ ، قَالَ : بِمَ يَأْمُرُكُمْ ؟ قُلْتُ : يَأْمُرُنَا بِالصَّلاةِ ، وَالزَّكَاةِ ، وَالْعَفَافِ ، وَالصِّلَةِ ، قَالَ : إِنْ يَكُ مَا تَقُولُهُ حَقًّا فَإِنَّهُ نَبِيٌّ ، وَإِنِّي كُنْتُ أَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُ لَخَارِجٌ ، وَلَمْ أَكُنْ أَظُنُّهُ مِنْكُمْ ، وَلَوْ كُنْتُ أَعْلَمُ أَنِّي أَخْلُصُ إِلَيْهِ ، لأَحْبَبْتُ لِقَاءَهُ ، وَلَوْ كُنْتُ عِنْدَهُ لَغَسَلْتُ عَنْ قَدَمَيْهِ ، وَلَيَبْلُغَنَّ مُلْكُهُ مَا تَحْتَ قَدَمَيَّ ، قَالَ : ثُمَّ دَعَا بِكِتَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَرَأَهُ ، فَإِذَا فِيهِ : بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ مِنْ مُحَمَّدٍ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ إِلَى هِرَقْلَ عَظِيمِ الرُّومِ ، سَلامٌ عَلَى مَنِ اتَّبَعَ الْهُدَى ، أَمَّا بَعْدُ ، فَإِنِّي أَدْعُوكَ بِدِعَايَةِ الإِسْلامِ ، أَسْلِمْ تَسْلَمْ ، وَأَسْلِمْ يُؤْتِكَ اللَّهُ أَجْرَكَ مَرَّتَيْنِ ، وَإِنْ تَوَلَّيْتَ فَإِنَّ عَلَيْكَ إِثْمُ الأَرِيسِيِّينَ وَ يَأَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ تَعَالَوْا إِلَى كَلِمَةٍ سَوَاءٍ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمْ أَلَّا نَعْبُدَ إِلا اللَّهَ إِلَى قَوْلِهِ اشْهَدُوا بِأَنَّا مُسْلِمُونَ ، فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ مِنْ قِرَاءَةِ الْكِتَابِ ارْتَفَعَتِ الأَصْوَاتُ عِنْدَهُ وَكَثُرَ اللَّغَطُ ، وَأَمْرَ بِنَا فَأُخْرِجْنَا ، قَالَ : فَقُلْتُ لأَصْحَابِي حِينَ خَرَجْنَا : لَقَدْ أَمِرَ أَمْرُ ابْنِ أَبِي كَبْشَةَ ، حَتَّى أَدْخَلَ اللَّهُ عَلَيَّ الإِسْلامَ ، قَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ : فَدَعَا هِرَقْلُ عُظَمَاءَ الرُّومِ فَجَمَعَهُمْ فِي دَارٍ لَهُ ، فَقَالَ : يَا مَعْشَرَ الرُّومِ ، هَلْ لَكُمْ إِلَى الْفَلاحِ وَالرُّشْدِ آخِرَ الأَبَدِ ؟ وَأَنْ يَثْبُتْ لَكُمْ مُلْكُكُمْ ؟ قَالَ : فَحَاصَوْا حَيْصَةَ حُمُرِ الْوَحْشِ إِلَى الأَبْوَابِ ، فَوَجَدُوهَا قَدْ غُلِّقَتْ ، قَالَ : فَدَعَاهُمْ ، فَقَالَ : إِنِّي اخْتَبَرْتُ شِدَّتَكُمْ عَلَى دِينِكُمْ فَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ مِنْكُمُ الَّذِي أَحْبَبْتُ ، فَسَجَدُوا لَهُ وَرَضَوْا عَنْهُ "

Sunan an-Nasa'i 1042
It was narrated that Ali said:
"The Messenger of Allah (SAW) forbade me-but I do not say he forbade you- from wearing gold rings, Al-Qassi, and from wearing Al-Mufaddam, and from wearing clothes dyed with safflower, and from reciting Qur'an when bowing."
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْمُنْكَدِرِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ، عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ حُنَيْنٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ نَهَانِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَلاَ أَقُولُ نَهَاكُمْ عَنْ تَخَتُّمِ الذَّهَبِ وَعَنْ لُبْسِ الْقَسِّيِّ وَعَنْ لُبْسِ الْمُفَدَّمِ وَالْمُعَصْفَرِ وَعَنِ الْقِرَاءَةِ فِي الرُّكُوعِ .

Sunan an-Nasa'i 2989
It was narrated that Muawiyah said:
"I cut a little from the ends of the hair of the Messenger of Allah with the eduge of an arrow that I had with me, after he had circumambulated the House, and performed Sai between As-Safa and Al-Marwah, during the ten days." Qais said: "The people rebuked Muawiyah for that."
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ، قَالَ أَخَذْتُ مِنْ أَطْرَافِ شَعْرِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِمِشْقَصٍ كَانَ مَعِي بَعْدَ مَا طَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ وَبِالصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ فِي أَيَّامِ الْعَشْرِ . قَالَ قَيْسٌ وَالنَّاسُ يُنْكِرُونَ هَذَا عَلَى مُعَاوِيَةَ .

Sunan an-Nasa'i 4124
It was narrated from Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari that :
The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: "If two Muslims confront each other with swords and one of them kills the other, then the killer and the slain will both be in Hell." A man said: "O Messenger of Allah, (we understand about) the killer, but what about the one who is killed?" He said: "He wanted to kill his companion."
أَخْبَرَنَا مُجَاهِدُ بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ - عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى الأَشْعَرِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " إِذَا تَوَاجَهَ الْمُسْلِمَانِ بِسَيْفَيْهِمَا فَقَتَلَ أَحَدُهُمَا صَاحِبَهُ فَالْقَاتِلُ وَالْمَقْتُولُ فِي النَّارِ " . قَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ هَذَا الْقَاتِلُ فَمَا بَالُ الْمَقْتُولِ قَالَ " إِنَّهُ أَرَادَ قَتْلَ صَاحِبِهِ " .
