Bulugh al-Maram 1402
Narrated 'Ali (RA):
Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "When two men bring a case before you, do not decide in favor of the first till you hear what the other has to say, then you will know how to judge." 'Ali (RA) said, "Since then, I have continued to judge (in accordance with that)."
[Reported by Ahmad, Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi. The latter graded it Hasan (good), while Ibn al-Madini graded it Qawi (strong), and Ibn Hibban graded it Sahih (authentic).]
وَعَنْ عَلِيٍّ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -{
" إِذَا تَقَاضَى إِلَيْكَ رَجُلَانِ, فَلَا تَقْضِ لِلْأَوَّلِ, حَتَّى تَسْمَعَ كَلَامَ اَلْآخَرِ, فَسَوْفَ تَدْرِي كَيْفَ تَقْضِي" . قَالَ 1 . عَلِيٌّ: فَمَا زِلْتُ قَاضِيًا بَعْدُ } رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ, وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ, وَاَلتِّرْمِذِيُّ وَحَسَّنَهُ, وَقَوَّاهُ اِبْنُ اَلْمَدِينِيُّ, وَصَحَّحَهُ اِبْنُ حِبَّانَ 2 .

Narrated 'Aishah (RA):
Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "If anyone married without the consent of her guardian, her marriage is invalid. If there is cohabitation, she is entitled to the dowry, due to the sexual intercourse made lawful with her. If there is a dispute (between her guardian), the ruler is the guardian of one who has no guardian."
[Reported by al-Arba'a except an-Nasa'i. Abu 'Awanah, Ibn Hibban and al-Hakim graded it Sahih (authentic)].
وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ أَيُّمَا اِمْرَأَةٍ نَكَحَتْ بِغَيْرِ إِذْنِ وَلِيِّهَا, فَنِكَاحُهَا بَاطِلٌ, فَإِنْ دَخَلَ بِهَا فَلَهَا اَلْمَهْرُ بِمَا اِسْتَحَلَّ مِنْ فَرْجِهَا, فَإِنِ اشْتَجَرُوا فَالسُّلْطَانُ وَلِيُّ مَنْ لَا وَلِيَّ لَهُ } أَخْرَجَهُ اَلْأَرْبَعَةُ إِلَّا النَّسَائِيَّ, وَصَحَّحَهُ أَبُو عَوَانَةَ , وَابْنُ حِبَّانَ وَالْحَاكِمُ 1 .

Narrated Hakim bin Mu'awiyah on the authority of his father (RA):
I asked, "O Messenger of Allah, what are the rights of a wife of one of us on her husband?" He replied, "You should give her food when you eat, clothe her when you clothe yourself, not strike her on the face, and do not revile her or desert her except within the house."
[Reported by Ahmad, Abu Dawud, an-Nasa'i and Ibn Majah, al-Bukhari mentioned part of it [the last sentence] as Mu'allaq (a broken chain from the side of the collector, i.e. al-Bukhari), Ibn Hibban and al-Hakim graded it Sahih (authentic)].
وَعَنْ حَكِيمِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ : { قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ ! مَا حَقُّ زَوْجِ أَحَدِنَا عَلَيْهِ ? قَالَ : " تُطْعِمُهَا إِذَا أَكَلْتَ , وَتَكْسُوهَا إِذَا اِكْتَسَيْتَ , وَلَا تَضْرِبِ الْوَجْهَ , وَلَا تُقَبِّحْ , وَلَا تَهْجُرْ إِلَّا فِي اَلْبَيْتِ } رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ , وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ , وَالنَّسَائِيُّ , وَابْنُ مَاجَهْ، وَعَلَّقَ اَلْبُخَارِيُّ بَعْضَهُ، وَصَحَّحَهُ اِبْنُ حِبَّانَ , وَالْحَاكِمُ 1 .

Narrated 'Amr bin Shu'aib on his father's authority from his grandfather:
Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "No descendant of Adam may make a vow concerning something he does not possess, or set free (a slave) that he does not possess, or divorce (a woman) whom he does not possess (in marriage)."
[Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi reported it; the latter graded it Sahih (authentic), and transmitted from al-Bukhari his statement that it is the most authentic Hadith on this subject].
وَعَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ , عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ لَا نَذْرَ لِابْنِ آدَمَ فِيمَا لَا يَمْلِكُ , وَلَا عِتْقِ لَهُ فِيمَا لَا يَمْلِكُ , وَلَا طَلَاقَ
لَهُ فِيمَا لَا يَمْلِكُ } أَخْرَجَهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَاَلتِّرْمِذِيُّ وَصَحَّحَهُ, وَنُقِلَ عَنْ اَلْبُخَارِيِّ أَنَّهُ أَصَحُّ مَا وَرَدَ فِيهِ 1 .
لَهُ فِيمَا لَا يَمْلِكُ } أَخْرَجَهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَاَلتِّرْمِذِيُّ وَصَحَّحَهُ, وَنُقِلَ عَنْ اَلْبُخَارِيِّ أَنَّهُ أَصَحُّ مَا وَرَدَ فِيهِ 1 .

Narrated 'Ubai bin Ka'b (RA):
Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "A man's prayer offered with another man is purer than his prayer which he offers alone, and his prayer with two men is purer than his prayer with one and if they are more (in number), it is more beloved to Allah, the Mighty the Majestic."
[Reported by Abu Dawud and an-Nasa'i. And Ibn Hibban graded it Sahih (authentic)].
وَعَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ صَلَاةُ اَلرَّجُلِ مَعَ اَلرَّجُلِ أَزْكَى مِنْ صَلَاتِهِ وَحْدَهُ, وَصَلَاتُهُ مَعَ اَلرَّجُلَيْنِ أَزْكَى مِنْ صَلَاتِهِ مَعَ اَلرَّجُلِ, وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرَ فَهُوَ أَحَبُّ إِلَى اَللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ } رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ, وَالنَّسَائِيُّ, وَصَحَّحَهُ اِبْنُ حِبَّان َ 1 .

Mishkat al-Masabih 2008
Ma'dan b. Talha said Abu Darda’ told him that God’s messenger vomited and broke his fast. He said that he met Thauban in the mosque of Damascus, and when he remarked that Abu Darda’ told him that God’s messenger vomited and broke his fast he said, "He spoke the truth; and I was the one who poured out the water for his ablution."
Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi and Darimi transmitted it.
وَعَنْ مَعْدَانَ بْنِ طَلْحَةَ أَنَّ أَبَا الدَّرْدَاءِ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَاءَ فَأَفْطَرَ. قَالَ: فَلَقِيتُ ثَوْبَانَ فِي مَسْجِدِ دِمَشْقَ فَقُلْتُ: إِنَّ أَبَا الدَّرْدَاءِ حَدَّثَنِي أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَاءَ فَأَفْطَرَ. قَالَ: صَدَقَ وَأَنَا صَبَبْتُ لَهُ وضوءه. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد وَالتِّرْمِذِيّ والدارمي

Qais b. Abu Gharaza said :
In the time of God's Messenger we used to be called brokers, but God’s Messenger came upon us one day and called us by a better name than that, saying, "Company of merchants, unprofitable speech and swearing have a place in business dealing, so mix it with sadaqa.
Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi, Nasa’i and Ibn Majah transmitted it.
وَعَن قيس بن أبي غَرزَة قَالَ: كُنَّا نُسَمَّى فِي عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ السَّمَاسِرَةَ فَمَرَّ بِنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَسَمَّانَا بِاسْمٍ هُوَ أَحْسَنُ مِنْهُ فَقَالَ: «يَا مَعْشَرَ التُّجَّارِ إِنَّ الْبَيْعَ يَحْضُرُهُ اللَّغْوُ وَالْحَلِفُ فَشُوبُوهُ بِالصَّدَقَةِ» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَالتِّرْمِذِيُّ وَالنَّسَائِيُّ وَابْنُ مَاجَهْ

Mishkat al-Masabih 3171
Abu Huraira said that God’s Messenger forbade that a woman should be married to one who had married her paternal aunt, or a paternal aunt to one who had married her brother’s daughter, or a woman to one who had married her maternal aunt, or a maternal aunt to one who had married her sister's daughter. A younger sister must not be married to one who has married an elder sister, nor an elder sister to one who has married a younger sister.
Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud, Darimi and Nasa’i transmitted it, Nasa’i’s version ending with “her sister’s daughter.”
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى أَنْ تُنْكَحَ الْمَرْأَةُ عَلَى عَمَّتِهَا أَوِ الْعَمَّةُ عَلَى بِنْتِ أَخِيهَا وَالْمَرْأَةُ عَلَى خَالَتِهَا أَوِ الْخَالَةُ عَلَى بِنْتِ أُخْتِهَا لَا تُنْكَحُ الصُّغْرَى عَلَى الْكُبْرَى وَلَا الْكُبْرَى عَلَى الصُّغْرَى. رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ والدارمي وَالنَّسَائِيّ وَرِوَايَته إِلَى قَوْله: بنت أُخْتهَا

Mishkat al-Masabih 3506
‘Ali said that the blood wit for what looked like intentional murder was in three parts:
thirty-three she-camels in their fourth year, thirty- three she-camels in their fifth year, and thirty-four she-camels in the sixth year up to the ninth, all pregnant. In a version he said that the blood wit for unintentional murder was in four parts: twenty-five she-camels in their fourth year, twenty-five she-camels in their fifth year, twenty-five she-camels in their third year, and twenty-five she-camels in their second year.
Abu Dawud transmitted it.
عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: دِيَةُ شِبْهِ الْعَمْدِ أَثْلَاثًا ثَلَاثٌ وَثَلَاثُونَ حِقَّةً وَثَلَاثٌ وَثَلَاثُونَ جَذَعَةً وَأَرْبَعٌ وَثَلَاثُونَ ثَنِيَّةً إِلَى بَازِلِ عَامِهَا كُلُّهَا خَلِفَاتٌ وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ: قَالَ: فِي الْخَطَأ أَربَاعًا: خَمْسَة وَعِشْرُونَ حِقَّةً وَخَمْسٌ وَعِشْرُونَ جَذَعَةً وَخَمْسٌ وَعِشْرُونَ بَنَاتِ لَبُونٍ وَخَمْسٌ وَعِشْرُونَ بَنَاتِ مَخَاضٍ. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد

Mishkat al-Masabih 3735
Buraida reported God’s Messenger as saying, "Qadis are of three types, one of whom will go to paradise and two to hell. The one who will go to paradise is a man who knows what is right and gives judgment accordingly; but a man who knows what is right and acts tyrannically in his judgment will go to hell, and a man who gives judgment for people when he is ignorant will go to hell.”
Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah transmitted it.
وَعَنْ بُرَيْدَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
" الْقُضَاةُ ثَلَاثَةٌ: وَاحِدٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ وَاثْنَانِ فِي النَّارِ فَأَمَّا الَّذِي فِي الْجَنَّةِ فَرَجُلٌ عَرَفَ الْحَقَّ فَقَضَى بِهِ وَرَجُلٌ عَرَفَ الْحَقَّ فَجَارَ فِي الْحُكْمِ فَهُوَ فِي النَّارِ وَرَجُلٌ قَضَى لِلنَّاسِ عَلَى جَهْلٍ فَهُوَ فِي النَّارِ ". رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَابْنُ مَاجَهْ

Mishkat al-Masabih 3784
‘Auf b. Malik told that the Prophet gave a decision between two men and that when the one against whom the decision had been given turned away he said, “My sufficiency is God, and good is the Guardian." Thereupon the Prophet said, “God most high blames for falling short, hut apply intelligence, and when a matter gets the better of you say, 'My sufficiency is God, and good is the Guardian’. (Al-Qur’an, 3:173)
Abu Dawud transmitted it.
وَعَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَضَى بَيْنَ رَجُلَيْنِ فَقَالَ الْمَقْضِيُّ عَلَيْهِ لَمَّا أَدْبَرَ: حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
" إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى يَلُومُ عَلَى الْعَجْزِ وَلَكِنْ عَلَيْكَ بِالْكَيْسِ فَإِذَا غَلَبَكَ أَمْرٌ فَقُلْ: حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ ونِعْمَ الوكيلُ ". رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد

Jabir b. ‘Abdallah told that a man got up on the day of the Conquest and said, “Messenger of God, I have vowed to God who is great and glorious that if God conquers Mecca at your hands I shall pray two rak'as in Jerusalem.” He replied, “Pray here.” He repeated his statement to him and he replied, “Pray here.” He again repeated it to him and he replied, “Pursue your own course, then.”
Abu Dawud and Darimi transmitted it.
وَعَن جَابر بن عبد الله: أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَامَ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُول الله لِلَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِنْ فَتَحَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكَ مَكَّةَ أَنْ أُصَلِّيَ فِي بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ قَالَ: «صلى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسلم هَهُنَا» ثمَّ عَاد فَقَالَ: «صل هَهُنَا» ثُمَّ أَعَادَ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ: «شَأْنَكَ إِذًا» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد والدارمي

Mishkat al-Masabih 3545
Ibn Abu Laila said he was told by Muhammad’s companions that during a journey with God’s Messenger while one of them was asleep another went to a rope he had with him and seized him,* with the result that he was startled. God’s Messenger then said, “It is not lawful for a Muslim to frighten another.”
Abu Dawud transmitted it.
* The meaning is that he tied the rope round him while he was asleep, presumably as a joke.
وَعَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَصْحَابُ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يَسِيرُونَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَنَامَ رَجُلٌ مِنْهُمْ فَانْطَلَقَ بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَى حَبْلٍ مَعَه فَأَخذه فَفَزعَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا يَحِلُّ لِمُسْلِمٍ أَنْ يُرَوِّعَ مُسْلِمًا» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد

Mishkat al-Masabih 2396
Al-Harith b. Muslim at-Tamimi quoted his father as saying that God’s messenger told him secretly to say seven times when he had finished the sunset prayer, before speaking to anyone, “O God, protect me from hell”; for if he said that and died that night, exemption from it would be recorded for him. He also told him to say that when he had prayed the morning prayer, for if he died that day, exemption from it would be recorded for him.
Abu Dawud transmitted it.

Abu Huraira said that God’s messenger used to say, “O God, I seek refuge in Thee from the four things:
knowledge which does not profit, a heart which is not submissive, an appetite which is insatiable, and a supplication which is not heard.”
Ahmad, Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah transmitted it. Tirmidhi transmitted it from ‘Abdallah b. 'Amr, and Nasa’i from both sources.
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ:

Iqama was pronounced. ant the people had formed themselves into rows. The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) came out and stood at his place, and then pointed out with his hand that we should stand at our places. He then went away and took a bath and water trickled from his head and then led them in prayer.

Anas reported that when the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) had to set out on a journey hurriedly, he delayed the noon prayer to the earlier time for the afternoon prayer, and then he would combine them, and he would delay the sunset prayer to the time when the twilight would disappear and then combine it with the 'Isha' prayer.

Ibn 'Abbas reported:
I observed with the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) eight (rak'ahs) in combination, and seven rak'ahs in combination. I (one of the narrators) said: O Abd Sha'tha', I think that he (the Holy Prophet) had delayed the noon prayer and hastened the afternoon prayer, and he delayed the sunset prayer and hastened the 'Isha' prayer. He said: I also think so.

'A'isha reported that there was a solar eclipse during the lifetime of the Messenger of Allah (way peace be upon him) and he sent the announcer (to summon them) for congregational prayer. The people gathered together and he pronounced takbir and he observed four rak'ahs, in the form of two rak'ahs (i. e. he observed two qiyams and two ruku's in one rak'ah) and four prostrations.
وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مِهْرَانَ الرَّازِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، قَالَ قَالَ الأَوْزَاعِيُّ أَبُو عَمْرٍو وَغَيْرُهُ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ شِهَابٍ الزُّهْرِيَّ، يُخْبِرُ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ الشَّمْسَ، خَسَفَتْ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَبَعَثَ مُنَادِيًا
" الصَّلاَةَ جَامِعَةً " . فَاجْتَمَعُوا وَتَقَدَّمَ فَكَبَّرَ . وَصَلَّى أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ فِي رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَأَرْبَعَ سَجَدَاتٍ .

Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (may peace he upon him) made a mention of the new moon and (in this connection) said:
Observe fast when you see it (the new moon) and break fast when you see it (the new moon of Shawwal), but when (the actual position of the month is) concealed from you (on account of cloudy sky), then count thirty days.

'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that Hamza b. Amr al-Aslami asked the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) thus:
Messenger of Allah, I am a person devoted much to fasting. Should I fast during the journey? He (the Holy Prophet) said: Fast if you like and break it if you like.
وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ الزَّهْرَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ زَيْدٍ - حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، - رضى الله عنها - أَنَّ حَمْزَةَ بْنَ عَمْرٍو الأَسْلَمِيَّ، سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي رَجُلٌ أَسْرُدُ الصَّوْمَ . أَفَأَصُومُ فِي السَّفَرِ قَالَ

I was shown Lailat-ul-Qadr; then some members of my family awoke me up, then I was caused to forget it. So seek it in the last week. Harmala said: (The Holy Prophet did not say:" I was made to forget," but he stated):" But I forgot it."

It was narrated that 'Ali said:
"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Abu Bakr and 'Umar are the leaders of the mature people of Paradise, and the first and the last, except for the Prophets and Messengers, but do not tell them about that, O 'Ali, as long as they are still alive.'"

"I never saw the Messenger of Allah mention his parents together for anyone except Sa'd bin Malik. He said to him on the Day of Uhud: 'Shoot, Sa'd! May my father and mother be sacrificed for you!'"

It was narrated that Zaid bin Arqam said:
"The Messenger of Allah said to 'Ali, Fatimah, Hasan and Husain: 'I am peace for those with whom you make peace, and I am war for those with whom you make war.'"

It was narrated that Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri said:
"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Allah smiles at three things: a row in the prayer, a man who prays in the depths of the night, and a man who fights' I think he said, 'behind the battalion.'"

It was narrated that Hudhaifah said:
"Whenever the Messenger of Allah got up for prayer at night to pray Tahajjud (night optional prayer), he would clean his mouth with the tooth stick."

It was narrated that Abu Ayyub Ansari said:
"The Messenger of Allah forbade the person who went to the Gha'it to face the Qiblah. He said: 'face towards the east or the west.'"

It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said:
"The Messenger of Allah never entrusted his purification to anyone nor his charity that he had given to anyone; he would be the one to take care of these matters himself."

'Abdullah bin 'Amr said:
"The Messenger of Allah saw some people performing ablution, and their heels were dry. He said: 'Woe to the heels because of Hell-fire, perform ablution properly!'"

Sunan Ibn Majah 502
'Urwah bin Az-Subair narrated from 'Aishah, that:
The Messenger of Allah kissed one of his women (i.e., wives), then he went to perform the prayer, and he did not perform ablution. I ('Urwah bin Zubair) said: "That was not anyone but you,' and she smiled."

It was narrated that Umm Qais bint Mihsan said:
"I came to the Messenger of Allah with a son of mine who was not yet eating solid food, and he (the baby) urinated on him. He called for water and sprinkled it over (the urine)."

It was narrated from Abu Sa'eed Khudri that:
He used to become sexually impure at night, then he would want to sleep. The Messenger of Allah told him to perform ablution and then go to sleep.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَرْوَانَ الْعُثْمَانِيُّ، مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْهَادِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ خَبَّابٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ تُصِيبُهُ الْجَنَابَةُ بِاللَّيْلِ فَيُرِيدُ أَنْ يَنَامَ فَأَمَرَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ أَنْ يَتَوَضَّأَ ثُمَّ يَنَامَ .

It was narrated from 'Abdur-Rahman bin Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri from his father that:
The Messenger of Allah said: "No woman should look at the nakedness of another woman, and no man should look at the nakedness of another man."

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that:
A man among the Ansar sent word to the Messenger of Allah saying: "Come and designate a place in my house where I can perform prayer,' that was after he had become blind. So he went and did that.

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that:
The Prophet said: "A muslim does not regularly attend the mosques to perform prayer and remember Allah, but Allah feels happy with him just as the family of one who is absent feels happy when he comes back to them."

" مَا تَوَطَّنَ رَجُلٌ مُسْلِمٌ الْمَسَاجِدَ لِلصَّلاَةِ وَالذِّكْرِ إِلاَّ تَبَشْبَشَ اللَّهُ لَهُ كَمَا يَتَبَشْبَشُ أَهْلُ الْغَائِبِ بِغَائِبِهِمْ إِذَا قَدِمَ عَلَيْهِمْ " .

The Messenger of Allah said: "If you see a man frequenting the mosques, then bear witness to his faith. Allah says: 'The mosques of Allah shall be maintained only by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day. [At-Taubah: 18]'"

It was narrated that Hudhaifah said:
"I was harsh in the way I spoke to my family, but not to others. I mentioned that to the Prophet (saas) and he said: 'Why don't you ask for forgiveness? Ask Allah to forgive you, seventy times each day.'"

Sunan Ibn Majah 3778
It was narrated from Abu Musa that the Prophet(SAW) said:
"When anyone of you passes through our masjid or our marketplace carrying arrows, let him hold them by their heads, lest he hurt any Muslims."
حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ بُرَيْدٍ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ
" إِذَا مَرَّ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي مَسْجِدِنَا أَوْ فِي سُوقِنَا وَمَعَهُ نَبْلٌ فَلْيُمْسِكْ عَلَى نِصَالِهَا بِكَفِّهِ أَنْ تُصِيبَ أَحَدًا مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ بِشَىْءٍ أَوْ فَلْيَقْبِضْ عَلَى نِصَالِهَا " .

It was narrated from Abu 'Abdur-Rahman Al Juhani that the Messenger of Allah(SAW) said:
"I am riding to the Jews tomorrow. Do not initiate the greeting with them, and if they greet you, then say: Wa 'alaikum (and also upon you)".

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that:
"a man entered the masjid, and the Messenger of Allah(SAW) was sitting in a corner of the mosque. He prayed, then he came and greeted him with Salam(peace), and he said: 'Wa 'alaikassalm."

It was narrated from 'Aishah:
that the Prophet entered upon her and there was a man with her. He said: “Who is this? She said: “This is my brother.” He said: “Look at whom you allow to enter upon you, because the breastfeeding (that makes a person Mahram) is that which satisfies hunger.”

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah:
that the Messenger of Allah said: "Whoever has two wives and favors one of them over the other, he will come on the Day of Resurrection with one of his sides leaning."

Sunan Ibn Majah 2037
It was narrated from 'Aishah that:
'Amrah bint Jawn sought refuge.with Allah from the Messenger of Allah (SAW) when she was brought to him (as a bride) He said: "You have sought refuge with Him in Whom refuge is sought." So he divorced her and told Usamah or Anas to give her, a gift of three garments of white flax.
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمِقْدَامِ أَبُو الأَشْعَثِ الْعِجْلِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ عَمْرَةَ بِنْتَ الْجَوْنِ، تَعَوَّذَتْ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ حِينَ أُدْخِلَتْ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ
" لَقَدْ عُذْتِ بِمُعَاذٍ " . فَطَلَّقَهَا وَأَمَرَ أُسَامَةَ أَوْ أَنَسًا فَمَتَّعَهَا بِثَلاَثَةِ أَثْوَابٍ رَازِقِيَّةٍ .

It was narrated from 'Alqamah bin 'Abdullah that his father said:
"The Messenger of Allah (SAW) forbade breaking the coins of the Muslims that are in circulation among them, without any necessary reason.”(1)

It was narrated that 'Umair, the freed slave of Aabi Lahm, said:
"My master used to give me food and I would feed others from it, then he stopped me," or he said: "He beat me. So I asked the Prophet,” -or- "he asked him and I said: 'I will not stop.' He said: 'Both of you will be rewarded."'

" الأَجْرُ بَيْنَكُمَا " .

“The likeness of the one who gives charity then takes it back is that of a dog who vomits then goes back and eats its vomit.”

It was narrated that 'Abdul-Malik bin `Umair said:
“I heard 'Atiyyah Al-Quradhi say: 'We were presented to the Messenger of Allah (SAW) on the Day of Quraidhah. Those whose pubic hair had grown were killed, and those whose pubic hair had not yet grown were let go. I was one of those whose pubic hair had not yet grown, so I was let go.”

It was narrated from Sa'eed bin Musayyab that 'Umar used to say:
“The blood money is for the near male relatives from the father's side and the wife does not inherit anything from the blood money of her husband,” until Ad-Dahhak bin Sufyan wrote to him, and told him that the Prophet (SAW) ruled that the wife of Ashyam bin Dibabi should inherit from the blood money of her husband.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ، كَانَ يَقُولُ الدِّيَةُ لِلْعَاقِلَةِ وَلاَ تَرِثُ الْمَرْأَةُ مِنْ دِيَةِ زَوْجِهَا شَيْئًا حَتَّى كَتَبَ إِلَيْهِ الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَرَّثَ امْرَأَةَ أَشْيَمَ الضِّبَابِيِّ مِنْ دِيَةِ زَوْجِهَا .

It was narrated from Salamah bin Rawh bin Zinba', that :
his grandfather came to the Prophet (SAW) and he had castrated a slave of his. The Prophet (SAW) manumitted the slave in compensation for having been mutilated.

Abu Darda said:
“I heard the Messenger of Allah (SAW) say: 'There is no man who suffers some (injury) on his body and forgives (the perpetrator), but Allah (SWT) will raise him one degree in status thereby, or erase from him one sin.'My own ears heard it and my heart memorized it.”

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that a man asked the Messenger of Allah (SAW):
“My father died and left behind wealth, but he did not make a will. Will it expiate for him if I give charity on his behalf?” He said: “Yes.”

say: Adhhibil-bas, Rabban-nas, washfi Antash-Shafi, la shifa’a illa
shifa’uka shifa’an la yughadiru saqama (Take away the pain, O Lord of
mankind, and grant healing, for You are the Healer, and there is no
healing but Your healing that leaves no trace of sickness).’”

“For me to hive a good send-off to

warrior who is going to fight in the cause of Allah, and to guard

goods when he goes out in the morning or evening, is dearer to me
than this world and everything in it.”

Umar heard that Samurah had

some wine, and he said: “May Allah ruin Samurah! Does he not know

animal fat was forbidden to them, so they melted it down and sold
it.’”

granted a concession to Zubair bin ‘Awwam and ‘Abdur-Rahman bin

allowing them to wear silk shirts, because of a rash they
were
suffering from.

and he said: “The Messenger of Allah (saw) used to forbid it.”

and in the other was some gold. He said: ‘These are forbidden to
the males of my nation and permitted to the females.’”

" إِنَّ هَذَيْنِ مُحَرَّمٌ عَلَى ذُكُورِ أُمَّتِي حِلٌّ لإِنَاثِهِمْ " .

Resurrection, then set it ablaze.’”

this year?’ I said: ‘I am sick, O Messenger of Allah.’ He said:
‘Go for Hajj and say: “I will exit Ihram from the point where I
am
prevented.’”

It was
narratd that an Umm Walad* of Shaibah said:
“I saw the
Messenger of
Allah (saw) performing Sa’y between Safa and Marwah
saying: ‘The
valley should not be crossed except quickly.’”

Sunan Ibn Majah 3097
It was
narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Prophet (saw) marked the
sacrificial animal on the right side of the hump and wiped away the
blood.

of my right hand and put it on my left.”

recite between sixty and one hundred (Verses) in Fajr prayer.

It was
narrated from Ka’b bin ‘Ujrah that the Messenger of Allah
(saw)
saw a man who had interlocked his fingers during the prayer, so
the
Messenger of Allah (saw) separated his fingers.
حَدَّثَنَا عَلْقَمَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الدَّارِمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَجْلاَنَ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ رَأَى رَجُلاً قَدْ شَبَّكَ أَصَابِعَهُ فِي الصَّلاَةِ فَفَرَّجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ بَيْنَ أَصَابِعِهِ .

It was
narrated that Hilal bin Yasaf said:
“Ziyad bin Abu-Ja’d took me
by the hand and made me stand near an old man at Raqqah, whose name
was Wabisah bin Ma’bad. He said: ‘A man performed prayer behind
the
row on his own, and the Prophet (saw) commanded him to repeat the
prayer.’”

It was
narrated from Jabir bin ‘Abdullah that a man entered the
mosque one
Friday when the Messenger of Allah (saw) was delivering the
sermon.
He started stepping over the people’s shoulders, and the
Messenger
of Allah (saw) said:
‘Sit down, for you have annoyed
(people) and
you are late.’”

" اجْلِسْ فَقَدْ آذَيْتَ وَآنَيْتَ " .

narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas said:
“The Messenger of Allah (saw)
said: ‘When you call upon Allah, then do so with the palms of your
hands (upwards). Do not do so with the back of your hands (upwards).
And when you finish, then wipe your face with them.’”

" إِذَا دَعَوْتَ اللَّهَ فَادْعُ بِبَاطِنِ كَفَّيْكَ وَلاَ تَدْعُ بِظُهُورِهِمَا فَإِذَا فَرَغْتَ فَامْسَحْ بِهِمَا وَجْهَكَ " .
