Mishkat al-Masabih 1666
Jabir b. Samura said the Prophet was brought an unsaddled horse which he rode when he went away after the funeral of Ibn ad-Dahdah, and they went on foot around him.
Muslim transmitted it.
وَعَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ: أَتَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِفَرَسٍ مَعْرُورٍ فَرَكِبَهُ حِينَ انْصَرَفَ مِنْ جَنَازَةِ ابْنِ الدَّحْدَاحِ وَنَحْنُ نمشي حوله. رَوَاهُ مُسلم

Anas said that when a bier came past God’s messenger and he stood up he was told that it was carrying a Jew. He replied, “I stood up simply out of respect for the angels.”

Mishkat al-Masabih 2197
Ibn ‘Umar said that God’s-messenger forbade taking the Qur’ān into enemy territory.
A version by Muslim has, “Do not take the Qur’ān with you when travelling, for I cannot guarantee that the enemy will not get it.”

When the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) intended to combine two prayers on a journey, he delayed the noon prayer till came the early time of the afternoon prayer, and then combined the two.

Nafi' reported that when 'Abdullah (b. 'Umar) observed the Friday prayer and came back he observed two rak'ahs in his house, and then said:

" إِذَا أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلاَةُ فَلاَ تَأْتُوهَا وَأَنْتُمْ تَسْعَوْنَ وَأْتُوهَا تَمْشُونَ وَعَلَيْكُمُ السَّكِينَةُ فَمَا أَدْرَكْتُمْ فَصَلُّوا وَمَا فَاتَكُمْ فَأَتِمُّوا " .

spends the nights of the two ‘Eid in praying voluntary prayers,
seeking reward from Allah, his heart will not die on the Day when
hearts will die.”

It was
narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that when the Messenger of Allah (saw)

his foot in the stirrup and his riding beast rose up with him, he
would say the Talbiyah from the mosque of Dhul-Hulaifah.

narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Messenger of Allah (saw)

stone the Pillars when the sun had passed its zenith, to the
extent
that, as soon as he finished stoning them, he would pray Zuhr.

“When the reciter says Amin, then say Amin, for the angels say
Amin,
and if a person’s Amin coincides with the Amin of the angels,
his
previous sins will be forgiven.”

narrated from Maimunah that when the Prophet (saw) prostrated,
he
would hold his forearms away from his sides, such that if a lamb
wanted to pass under his arms, it would be able to do so.

not make a sound, because Satan laughs at him.”

narrated that Salamah bint Hurr, the sister of Kharashah, said:

heard the Prophet (saw) say: ‘A time will come when the people will
stand for a long time and will not be able to find any Imam to lead
them in prayer.”

the mosque when the Prophet (saw) was delivering the sermon.
He said:
‘Have you prayed?’ He said: ‘No.’ He said: ‘Then perform
two
Rak’ah.’”

" إِذَا سَافَرْتُمَا فَأَذِّنَا وَأَقِيمَا وَلْيَؤُمَّكُمَا أَكْبَرُكُمَا " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ . وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَيْهِ عِنْدَ أَكْثَرِ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ اخْتَارُوا الأَذَانَ فِي السَّفَرِ . وَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ تُجْزِئُ الإِقَامَةُ إِنَّمَا الأَذَانُ عَلَى مَنْ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَجْمَعَ النَّاسَ . وَالْقَوْلُ الأَوَّلُ أَصَحُّ . وَبِهِ يَقُولُ أَحْمَدُ وَإِسْحَاقُ .

"Abu Al-Qasim (SAW) said: 'On Friday, there is an hour when, if a Muslim slave stands in prayer and asks Allah for something at that time, He will give it to him.'" He was reducing it: lessening it.

He heard the Messenger of Allah (SAW) say: "Prayer at night is two rak'ahs by two rak'ahs, then when you fear tat dawn will break, pray witr with one rak'ah."

Abu Sa’eed narrated :
from the Prophet regarding Allah’s saying: Like Al-Muhl – he said: “Like boiling oil, such that when it is brought close to one’s face the skin of his face will fall off into it.”
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا رِشْدِينُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ دَرَّاجٍ أَبِي السَّمْحِ، عَنْ أَبِي الْهَيْثَمِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي قَوْلِهِ : ( كالْمُهْلِ ) قَالَ
" كَعَكَرِ الزَّيْتِ فَإِذَا قَرَّبَهُ إِلَى وَجْهِهِ سَقَطَتْ فَرْوَةُ وَجْهِهِ فِيهِ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ لاَ نَعْرِفُهُ إِلاَّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ رِشْدِينَ .

Anas bin Malik [may Allah be pleased with him] narrated that the Messenger of Allah said:
“When you pass by the gardens of Paradise, them feast.” They said: “And what are the gardens of Paradise?” He said: “The circles of remembrance.”
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، رضى الله عنه أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " إِذَا مَرَرْتُمْ بِرِيَاضِ الْجَنَّةِ فَارْتَعُوا " . قَالَ وَمَا رِيَاضُ الْجَنَّةِ قَالَ " حِلَقُ الذِّكْرِ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ .

Salman Al-Farsi narrated that the Prophet (saws) said:
“Indeed, Allah, is Hayy, Generous, when a man raises his hands to Him, He feels too shy to return them to him empty and rejected.”
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ، صَاحِبُ الأَنْمَاطِ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيِّ، عَنْ سَلْمَانَ الْفَارِسِيِّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" إِنَّ اللَّهَ حَيِيٌّ كَرِيمٌ يَسْتَحِي إِذَا رَفَعَ الرَّجُلُ إِلَيْهِ يَدَيْهِ أَنْ يَرُدَّهُمَا صِفْرًا خَائِبَتَيْنِ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ . وَرَوَاهُ بَعْضُهُمْ وَلَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ .

Sunan an-Nasa'i 24
It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin Abi Qatadah, from his father, that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH said:
"When any one of you urinates, let him not hold his penis in his right hand."
أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ دُرُسْتَ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا أَبُو إِسْمَاعِيلَ، - وَهُوَ الْقَنَّادُ - قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ، حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" إِذَا بَالَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلاَ يَأْخُذْ ذَكَرَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ " .

Sunan an-Nasa'i 44
It was narrated from 'Aishah that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said:
"When any one of you goes to the Gha'it (toilet to defecate), let him take with him three stones and clean himself with them, for that will suffice him."
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ قُرْطٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" إِذَا ذَهَبَ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى الْغَائِطِ فَلْيَذْهَبْ مَعَهُ بِثَلاَثَةِ أَحْجَارٍ فَلْيَسْتَطِبْ بِهَا فَإِنَّهَا تَجْزِي عَنْهُ " .

Sunan an-Nasa'i 48
It was narrated from Ibn Abi Qatadah, from his father, that the Prophet (PBUH) forbade breathing into the vessel (when drinking), touching one's penis with one's right hand, and cleaning oneself with one's right hand.
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَهَى أَنْ يَتَنَفَّسَ فِي الإِنَاءِ وَأَنْ يَمَسَّ ذَكَرَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ وَأَنْ يَسْتَطِيبَ بِيَمِينِهِ .

Safwan bin 'Assal said:
"When we were with the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) on a journey, he told us not to take them off for three days except in the case of Janabah, but not in the case of defecation, urinating or sleep."

حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ وَكِيعٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنِ الْمَسْعُودِيِّ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ هُرْمُزَ، عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا مَشَى، تَكَفَّأَ تَكَفُّؤًا، كَأَنَّمَا يَنْحَطُّ مِنْ صَبَبٍ.

A’isha said:
"I was resting the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) on my chest (or: on my lap), when he called for a basin in which to urinate. Then he urinated and died soon after.”
حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ الْبَصْرِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمُ بْنُ أَخْضَرَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ، عَنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: كُنْتُ مُسْنِدَةً النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم، إِلَى صَدْرِي أَوْ قَالَتْ: إِلَى حِجْرِي فَدَعَا بِطَسْتٍ لِيَبُولَ فِيهِ، ثُمَّ بِالَ، فَمَاتَ.

Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar:
The Prophet (saws), was asked about water (in desert country) and what is frequented by animals and wild beasts. He replied: When there is enough water to fill two pitchers, it bears no impurity.

" إِذَا كَانَ الْمَاءُ قُلَّتَيْنِ لَمْ يَحْمِلِ الْخَبَثَ " . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَهَذَا لَفْظُ ابْنِ الْعَلاَءِ وَقَالَ عُثْمَانُ وَالْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبَّادِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَهُوَ الصَّوَابُ .

حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ قُلْتُ لِبِلاَلٍ كَيْفَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَرُدُّ عَلَيْهِمْ حِينَ كَانُوا يُسَلِّمُونَ عَلَيْهِ وَهُوَ فِي الصَّلاَةِ قَالَ كَانَ يُشِيرُ بِيَدِهِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ . وَحَدِيثُ صُهَيْبٍ حَسَنٌ لاَ نَعْرِفُهُ إِلاَّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ اللَّيْثِ عَنْ بُكَيْرٍ . وَقَدْ رُوِيَ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِبِلاَلٍ كَيْفَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَصْنَعُ حَيْثُ كَانُوا يُسَلِّمُونَ عَلَيْهِ فِي مَسْجِدِ بَنِي عَمْرِو بْنِ عَوْفٍ قَالَ كَانَ يَرُدُّ إِشَارَةً . وَكِلاَ الْحَدِيثَيْنِ عِنْدِي صَحِيحٌ لأَنَّ قِصَّةَ حَدِيثِ صُهَيْبٍ غَيْرُ قِصَّةِ حَدِيثِ بِلاَلٍ . وَإِنْ كَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ رَوَى عَنْهُمَا فَاحْتَمَلَ أَنْ يَكُونَ سَمِعَ مِنْهُمَا جَمِيعًا .

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُصْعَبٍ الْمَدَنِيُّ، قِرَاءَةً عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، وَعَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا اعْتَكَفَ أَدْنَى إِلَىَّ رَأْسَهُ فَأُرَجِّلُهُ وَكَانَ لاَ يَدْخُلُ الْبَيْتَ إِلاَّ لِحَاجَةِ الإِنْسَانِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ . هَكَذَا رَوَاهُ غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ وَعَمْرَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ . وَرَوَاهُ بَعْضُهُمْ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَمْرَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ . وَالصَّحِيحُ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ وَعَمْرَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ .

Al-Qasim bin Muhammad narrated from Aishah:
"The Prophet kissed Uthman bin Maz'un when he died, and he was crying." Or, he (one of the narrators) said: "His eyes were brimming with tears."

['Abdullah] Ibn Abi Al-Awfa narrated that the Messenger of Allah (saws) said:
"[Indeed] Allah is with the judge as long as he is not unjust. So when he is unjust, He leaves him and he is attended by Shaitan."

" إِنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَ الْقَاضِي مَا لَمْ يَجُرْ فَإِذَا جَارَ تَخَلَّى عَنْهُ وَلَزِمَهُ الشَّيْطَانُ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ لاَ نَعْرِفُهُ إِلاَّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ عِمْرَانَ الْقَطَّانِ .

That his father said: "I saw the Messenger of Allah (saws) say the Adhan in the ear of Al-Hasan bin 'Ali - when he was born to Fatimah - the Adhan of Salat."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، قَالاَ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَذَّنَ فِي أُذُنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ حِينَ وَلَدَتْهُ فَاطِمَةُ بِالصَّلاَةِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ . وَالْعَمَلُ عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ فِي الْعَقِيقَةِ عَلَى مَا رُوِيَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ عَنِ الْغُلاَمِ شَاتَانِ مُكَافِئَتَانِ وَعَنِ الْجَارِيَةِ شَاةٌ . - وَرُوِيَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَيْضًا أَنَّهُ عَقَّ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بِشَاةٍ وَقَدْ ذَهَبَ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ إِلَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ .

Sunan Abi Dawud 5026
Abu Sa’id al-Khudri reported the Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) as saying:
When one of you yawns, he should hold his hand over his mouth, for the devil enters.
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، عَنْ سُهَيْلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" إِذَا تَثَاءَبَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيُمْسِكْ عَلَى فِيهِ فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَدْخُلُ " .

Sunan Abi Dawud 3989
Narrated Abu Hurairah:
The Prophet (saws) as saying - the narrator Isma'il transmitted it from Abu Hurairah, and mentioned the tradition about the coming down of revelation-: "So far (is this the case) that when terror is removed from their hearts."
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ، وَإِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ الْهُذَلِيُّ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم - قَالَ إِسْمَاعِيلُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رِوَايَةً - فَذَكَرَ حَدِيثَ الْوَحْىِ قَالَ فَذَلِكَ قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى { حَتَّى إِذَا فُزِّعَ عَنْ قُلُوبِهِمْ } .

Sunan Abi Dawud 2062
A’ishah said “In what was sent down in the Qu’ran ten suckling’s made marriage unlawful, but they were abrogated by five known ones and when the Prophet (saws) dies, these words were among what was recited in the Qur’an.”
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ بِنْتِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ كَانَ فِيمَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ عَشْرُ رَضَعَاتٍ يُحَرِّمْنَ ثُمَّ نُسِخْنَ بِخَمْسٍ مَعْلُومَاتٍ يُحَرِّمْنَ فَتُوُفِّيَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَهُنَّ مِمَّا يُقْرَأُ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ .

Sunan Abi Dawud 216
Abu Hurairah reported the Prophet (May peace be upon him) as saying :
when anyone sits between the four parts of a woman and the parts (of the male and female) which are circumscised join together, then bath becomes obligatory.
حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْفَرَاهِيدِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، وَشُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" إِذَا قَعَدَ بَيْنَ شُعَبِهَا الأَرْبَعِ وَأَلْزَقَ الْخِتَانَ بِالْخِتَانِ فَقَدْ وَجَبَ الْغُسْلُ " .
