'A'isha reported:
1 heard the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) seeking refuge from the trial of Dajjal (Antichrist) in prayer.
حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ، وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ صَالِحٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عُرْوَةُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَسْتَعِيذُ فِي صَلاَتِهِ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الدَّجَّالِ .

Ibn 'Umar reported:
When 'Umar was wounded he fainted, and there was a loud lamentation over him. When he regained consciousness he said: Didn't you know that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said:" The dead is punished because of the weeping of the living"?

" إِنَّ الْمَيِّتَ لَيُعَذَّبُ بِبُكَاءِ الْحَىِّ " .

This hadith is reported by Abu Huraira (with a slight alteration of words) that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said:
" When (the month of) Ramadan begins."

" إِذَا دَخَلَ رَمَضَانُ " . بِمِثْلِهِ .

Sunan Ibn Majah 325
It was narrated that Jabir said:
"The Messenger of Allah forbade facing the Qiblah when urinating. But I saw him, one year before he died, facing the Qiblah (while urinating)."

Sunan Ibn Majah 797
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:
"The Messenger of Allah said: 'The most burdensome prayers for the hypocrites are the 'Isha' prayer and the Fajr prayer. If only they knew what (reward) there is in them, they would come to them even if they had to crawl.'"

morning and burn it.’”

“No woman should travel the distance of three days or more,

finished he said: ‘Praise is to Allah, no hot food has entered my
stomach since such and such a time.’”

narrated from ‘Aishah, the Mother of the Believers, that the

“The most quickly rewarded of good
deeds are kindness and upholding the ties of kinship, and the most
quickly punished evil deeds are injustice and severing the ties of
kinship.”

" أَسْرَعُ الْخَيْرِ ثَوَابًا الْبِرُّ وَصِلَةُ الرَّحِمِ وَأَسْرَعُ الشَّرِّ عُقُوبَةً الْبَغْىُ وَقَطِيعَةُ الرَّحِمِ " .

Malik related to me from Suhayl ibn Abi Salih from his father from Abu Hurayra that Sad ibn Ubada said to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, "What do you think I should do if I were to find a man with my wife? Should I leave him there until I had brought four witnesses?" The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Yes."
حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ سَعْدَ بْنَ عُبَادَةَ، قَالَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَرَأَيْتَ لَوْ أَنِّي وَجَدْتُ مَعَ امْرَأَتِي رَجُلاً أَأُمْهِلُهُ حَتَّى آتِيَ بِأَرْبَعَةِ شُهَدَاءَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" نَعَمْ " .

Malik related to me from Abdullah ibn Dinar that Abu Salih as- Samman informed him that Abu Hurayra said, "Truly a man utters words to which he attaches no importance, and by them he falls into the fire of Jahannam, and truly a man utters words to which he attaches no importance, and by them Allah raises him into the Garden."
وَحَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ السَّمَّانِ، أَنَّهُ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَتَكَلَّمُ بِالْكَلِمَةِ مَا يُلْقِي لَهَا بَالاً يَهْوِي بِهَا فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ وَإِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَتَكَلَّمُ بِالْكَلَمَةِ مَا يُلْقِي لَهَا بَالاً يَرْفَعُهُ اللَّهُ بِهَا فِي الْجَنَّةِ .

Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet said, "The word 'Ar-Rahm (womb) derives its name from Ar-Rahman (i.e., one of the names of Allah) and Allah said: 'I will keep good relation with the one who will keep good relation with you, (womb i.e. Kith and Kin) and sever the relation with him who will sever the relation with you, (womb, i.e. Kith and Kin).

" إِنَّ الرَّحِمَ سُجْنَةٌ مِنَ الرَّحْمَنِ، فَقَالَ اللَّهُ مَنْ وَصَلَكِ وَصَلْتُهُ، وَمَنْ قَطَعَكِ قَطَعْتُهُ ".

Allah's Apostle used to seek refuge with Allah from the difficult moment of a calamity and from being overtaken by destruction and from being destined to an evil end, and from the malicious joy of enemies. Sufyan said, "This narration contained three items only, but I added one. I do not know which one that was."

Abu Abdullah 'Amr bin Al-'as (May Allah be pleased with them) said:
I heard Messenger of Allah (PBUH) saying openly not secretly, "The family of so-and-so (i.e., Abu Talib) are not my supporters. My supporter is Allah and the righteous believing people. But they (that family) have kinship (Rahm) with whom I will maintain good the ties of kinship".

The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "When the Imam says: 'Sami Allahu liman hamidah (Allah hears the one who praises Him),' then say: 'Rabbana wa lakal-hamd,' (Our Lord, and to You be the praise).' Whoever says that and it coincides with the angels saying it, his previous sins will be forgiven."

Thabit Al-Bunani narrated that the Messenger of Allah (saws) said:
“Let one of you ask his Lord for his every need, until he asks Him for salt, and asks Him for the strap of his sandal when it breaks.”

Abu Huraira (may Allah be well pleased with him) said that he saw Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace) perform the minor ritual ablution because of eating cottage cheese. Then he saw him eat from the flank of a sheep, and then perform the ritual prayer without performing the minor ritual ablution.

"Indeed among the worst of people to Allah, on the Day of Judgment, is the two faced person."

" إِنَّ مِنْ شَرِّ النَّاسِ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ذَا الْوَجْهَيْنِ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَنَسٍ وَعَمَّارٍ . وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .

While a person was going along the path he found a thorny branch upon it. He pushed it to a side and Allah approved (this action) of his and (as a mark of appreciation) granted him pardon.

" بَيْنَمَا رَجُلٌ يَمْشِي بِطَرِيقٍ
وَجَدَ غُصْنَ شَوْكٍ عَلَى الطَّرِيقِ فَأَخَّرَهُ فَشَكَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُ فَغَفَرَ لَهُ " .

Abu Sa'id al-Khudri reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said:
The Paradise and the Hell disputed with each other. The rest of the hadith is the same as transmitted by Abu Huraira up to the words'." It is essential for Me to fill up both of you."
وَحَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ
أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " احْتَجَّتِ الْجَنَّةُ وَالنَّارُ "
. فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ إِلَى قَوْلِهِ " وَلِكِلَيْكُمَا عَلَىَّ مِلْؤُهَا " . وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ مَا بَعْدَهُ
مِنَ الزِّيَادَةِ .

It is transmitted on the authority of Abu Huraira that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said:
The molar tooth of an unbeliever or the canine teeth of an unbeliever will be like Uhud and the thickness of his skin a three night's journey.

Sunan Abi Dawud 1832
Al Bara’ (bin Azib) said When the Apostle of Allaah(saws) concluded the treaty with the people of Al Hudaibiyyah, they stipulated that they (the Muslims) would not enter (Makkah) except with the bag of armament (julban al-silah). I asked what is julban al-silah? He replied:
The bag with its contents.

Abu Hurairah reported the Apostle of Allaah(saws) as saying “When you travel in fertile country, give the Camel their due (from the ground), and when you travel in time of drought make them go quickly. When you intend to encamp in the last hours of the night, keep away from the roads.”
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُهَيْلُ بْنُ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" إِذَا سَافَرْتُمْ فِي الْخِصْبِ فَأَعْطُوا الإِبِلَ حَقَّهَا وَإِذَا سَافَرْتُمْ فِي الْجَدْبِ فَأَسْرِعُوا السَّيْرَ فَإِذَا أَرَدْتُمُ التَّعْرِيسَ فَتَنَكَّبُوا عَنِ الطَّرِيقِ " .

(i.e., life and property) and their reckoning will be at Allaah’s hands.”

" أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أُقَاتِلَ النَّاسَ حَتَّى يَقُولُوا لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ فَإِذَا قَالُوهَا مَنَعُوا مِنِّي دِمَاءَهُمْ وَأَمْوَالَهُمْ إِلاَّ بِحَقِّهَا وَحِسَابُهُمْ عَلَى اللَّهِ تَعَالَى " .

The people used to attend the Friday prayer from their houses and from the suburbs of Medina.

Sahih Muslim 50 a
It is narrated on the authority 'Abdullah b. Mas'ud that the Messenger of Allah (may peace and blessings be upon him) observed:
Never a Prophet had been sent before me by Allah towards his nation who had not among his people (his) disciples and companions who followed his ways and obeyed his command. Then there came after them their successors who said whatever they did not practise, and practised whatever they were not commanded to do. He who strove against them with his hand was a believer: he who strove against them with his tongue was a believer, and he who strove against them with his heart was a believer and beyond that there is no faith even to the extent of a mustard seed. Abu Rafi' said: I narrated this hadith to 'Abdullah b. 'Umar; he contradicted me. There happened to come 'Abdullah b. Mas'ud who stayed at Qanat, and 'Abdullah b 'Umar wanted me to accompany him for visiting him (as 'Abdullah b. Mas'ud was ailing), so I went along with him and as we sat (before him) I asked Ibn Mas'ud about this hadith. He narrated it in the same way as I narrated it to Ibn 'Umar.
حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ، وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ النَّضْرِ وَعَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ - وَاللَّفْظُ لِعَبْدٍ - قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْمِسْوَرِ، عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" مَا مِنْ نَبِيٍّ بَعَثَهُ اللَّهُ فِي أُمَّةٍ قَبْلِي إِلاَّ كَانَ لَهُ مِنْ أُمَّتِهِ حَوَارِيُّونَ وَأَصْحَابٌ يَأْخُذُونَ بِسُنَّتِهِ وَيَقْتَدُونَ بِأَمْرِهِ ثُمَّ إِنَّهَا تَخْلُفُ مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْ خُلُوفٌ يَقُولُونَ مَا لاَ يَفْعَلُونَ وَيَفْعَلُونَ مَا لاَ يُؤْمَرُونَ فَمَنْ جَاهَدَهُمْ بِيَدِهِ فَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ وَمَنْ جَاهَدَهُمْ بِلِسَانِهِ فَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ وَمَنْ جَاهَدَهُمْ بِقَلْبِهِ فَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ وَلَيْسَ وَرَاءَ ذَلِكَ مِنَ الإِيمَانِ حَبَّةُ خَرْدَلٍ " . قَالَ أَبُو رَافِعٍ فَحَدَّثْتُهُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ فَأَنْكَرَهُ عَلَىَّ فَقَدِمَ ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ فَنَزَلَ بِقَنَاةَ فَاسْتَتْبَعَنِي إِلَيْهِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ يَعُودُهُ فَانْطَلَقْتُ مَعَهُ فَلَمَّا جَلَسْنَا سَأَلْتُ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ عَنْ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ فَحَدَّثَنِيهِ كَمَا حَدَّثْتُهُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ . قَالَ صَالِحٌ وَقَدْ تُحُدِّثَ بِنَحْوِ ذَلِكَ عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ .

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ ، حَدَّثَنِي خَالِدٌ هُوَ ابْنُ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ هُوَ ابْنُ أَبِي هِلَالٍ ، عَنْ نُبَيْهِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ ، أَنَّ كَعْبًا دَخَلَ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ ، فَذَكَرُوا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ كَعْبٌ :" مَا مِنْ يَوْمٍ يَطْلُعُ إِلَّا نَزَلَ سَبْعُونَ أَلْفًا مِنْ الْمَلَائِكَةِ، حَتَّى يَحُفُّوا بِقَبْرِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَضْرِبُونَ بِأَجْنِحَتِهِمْ، وَيُصَلُّونَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَتَّى إِذَا أَمْسَوْا، عَرَجُوا وَهَبَطَ مِثْلُهُمْ، فَصَنَعُوا مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ حَتَّى إِذَا انْشَقَّتْ عَنْهُ الْأَرْضُ، خَرَجَ فِي سَبْعِينَ أَلْفًا مِنْ الْمَلَائِكَةِ يَزِفُّونَهُ "

حَدَّثَنَا يَعْلَى ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ شَقِيقٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : كُنَّا إِذَا صَلَّيْنَا خَلْفَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قُلْنَا : السَّلَامُ عَلَى اللَّهِ قَبْلَ عِبَادِهِ، السَّلَامُ عَلَى جِبْرِيلَ ، السَّلَامُ عَلَى مِيكَائِيلَ ، السَّلَامُ عَلَى إِسْرَافِيلَ ، السَّلَامُ عَلَى فُلَانٍ وَفُلَانٍ.
قَالَ : فَأَقْبَلَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ : " إِنَّاللَّهَ تَعَالَى هُوَ السَّلَامُ، فَإِذَا جَلَسْتُمْ فِي الصَّلَاةِ، فَقُولُوا : التَّحِيَّاتُ لِلَّهِ، وَالصَّلَوَاتُ وَالطَّيِّبَاتُ، السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ، السَّلَامُ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَى عِبَادِ اللَّهِ الصَّالِحِينَ، فَإِنَّكُمْ إِذَا قُلْتُمُوهَا أَصَابَتْ كُلَّ عَبْدٍ صَالِحٍ فِي السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ، أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ، ثُمَّ لِيَتَخَيَّرْ مَا شَاءَ "

أَخْبَرَنَا صَالِحُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ هُوَ ابْنُ عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنْ مَوْلَى ابْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، يُقَالُ لَهُ : يُوسُفُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ أَوْ الزُّبَيْرُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، عَنْ سَوْدَةَ بِنْتِ زَمْعَةَ ، قَالَتْ : جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ : إِنَّ أَبِي شَيْخٌ كَبِيرٌ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ يَحُجَّ.
قَالَ : " أَرَأَيْتَ لَوْ كَانَ عَلَى أَبِيكَ دَيْنٌ فَقَضَيْتَهُ عَنْهُ، قُبِلَ مِنْهُ؟ ".
قَالَ : نَعَمْ.
قَالَ : " اللَّهُ أَرْحَمُ،حُجَّ عَنْ أَبِيكَ "

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، يَقُولُ : حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ ، حَدَّثَنِي عُقَيْلٌ ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي طَاوُسٌ الْيَمَانِيُّ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ وَهُوَ يُسْأَلُ عَنْ حَبْسِ النِّسَاءِ عَنْ الطَّوَافِ بِالْبَيْتِ إِذَا حِضْنَ قَبْلَ النَّفْرِ، وَقَدْ أَفَضْنَ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ، فَقَالَ : " إِنَّ عَائِشَةَ كَانَتْتَذْكُرُ رُخْصَةً لِلنِّسَاءِ ".
وَذَلِكَ قَبْلَ مَوْتِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بِعَامٍ

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ ، حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يُونُسَ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُول حِينَ أُنْزِلَتْ آيَةُ الْمُلَاعَنَةِ :" أَيُّمَا امْرَأَةٍ أَدْخَلَتْ عَلَى قَوْمٍ نَسَبًا لَيْسَ مِنْهُمْ، فَلَيْسَتْ مِنَ اللَّهِ فِي شَيْءٍ، وَلَنْ يُدْخِلْهَا اللَّهُ جَنَّتَهُ، وَأَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ جَحَدَ وَلَدَهُ وَهُوَ يَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِ، احْتَجَبَ اللَّهُ مِنْهُ وَفَضَحَهُ عَلَى رُءُوسِ الْأَوَّلِينَ وَالْآخِرِينَ ".
قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ : قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَعْبٍ الْقُرَظِيّ، وَسَعِيدٌ يُحَدِّثَهْ بِهِ، بِهَذَا : وَقَدْ بَلَغَنِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

Narrated Abu Hurairah:
"While the Messenger of Allah (SAW) was returning from Khaibar he traveled during the night until he became sleepy and he sat down to rest. Then he said: 'O Bilal! Stand guard for us for the night.'" He said: 'So Bilal performed Salat, then he leaned against his mount facing the direction of (dawn awaiting) Fajr. His eyes overcame him until he slept, and not one of them awoke. The first of them to awaken was the Prophet (SAW) who said: 'O Bilal!' Bilal said: 'May my father be ransomed for you O Messenger of Allah! I was overtaken just as you were overtaken.' So the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: 'Move out!' Then he kneeled to perform Wudu and to announce the standing for the Salat, then he performed Salat the same as he would when not traveling. Then he said: 'And establish the Salat for My rememberance (20:14).'"
حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ، حَدَّثَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا صَالِحُ بْنُ أَبِي الأَخْضَرِ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ لَمَّا قَفَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِنْ خَيْبَرَ أَسْرَى لَيْلَةً حَتَّى أَدْرَكَهُ الْكَرَى أَنَاخَ فَعَرَّسَ ثُمَّ قَالَ " يَا بِلاَلُ اكْلأْ لَنَا اللَّيْلَةَ " . قَالَ فَصَلَّى بِلاَلٌ ثُمَّ تَسَانَدَ إِلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ مُسْتَقْبَلَ الْفَجْرِ فَغَلَبَتْهُ عَيْنَاهُ فَنَامَ فَلَمْ يَسْتَيْقِظْ أَحَدٌ مِنْهُمْ وَكَانَ أَوَّلَهُمُ اسْتِيقَاظًا النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم . فَقَالَ " أَىْ بِلاَلُ " . فَقَالَ بِلاَلٌ بِأَبِي أَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَخَذَ بِنَفْسِي الَّذِي أَخَذَ بِنَفْسِكَ . فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " اقْتَادُوا " . ثُمَّ أَنَاخَ فَتَوَضَّأَ فَأَقَامَ الصَّلاَةَ ثُمَّ صَلَّى مِثْلَ صَلاَتِهِ لِلْوَقْتِ فِي تَمَكُّثٍ ثُمَّ قَالَ : (وأقِمِ الصَّلاَةَ لِذِكْرِي ) . قَالَ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَيْرُ مَحْفُوظٍ رَوَاهُ غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ مِنَ الْحُفَّاظِ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَلَمْ يَذْكُرُوا فِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ . وَصَالِحُ بْنُ أَبِي الأَخْضَرِ يُضَعَّفُ فِي الْحَدِيثِ ضَعَّفَهُ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْقَطَّانُ وَغَيْرُهُ مِنْ قِبَلِ حِفْظِهِ .

Abu Qatadah narrated that :
Allah's Messenger said: "When one of you comes to the Masjid, then let him perform two Rak'ah before sitting."
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ الزُّرَقِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" إِذَا جَاءَ أَحَدُكُمُ الْمَسْجِدَ فَلْيَرْكَعْ رَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَجْلِسَ " . قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ وَأَبِي أُمَامَةَ وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَأَبِي ذَرٍّ وَكَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَحَدِيثُ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ . وَقَدْ رَوَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَجْلاَنَ وَغَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ نَحْوَ رِوَايَةِ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ . وَرَوَى سُهَيْلُ بْنُ أَبِي صَالِحٍ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ الزُّرَقِيِّ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم . وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَيْرُ مَحْفُوظٍ وَالصَّحِيحُ حَدِيثُ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ . وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ عِنْدَ أَصْحَابِنَا اسْتَحَبُّوا إِذَا دَخَلَ الرَّجُلُ الْمَسْجِدَ أَنْ لاَ يَجْلِسَ حَتَّى يُصَلِّيَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ إِلاَّ أَنْ يَكُونَ لَهُ عُذْرٌ . قَالَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمَدِينِيِّ وَحَدِيثُ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ خَطَأٌ أَخْبَرَنِي بِذَلِكَ إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمَدِينِيِّ .

Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2384
Abu Hurairah narrated that A man said:
"O Messenger of Allah! A man does a deed and conceals it, but when it is discovered that he did it, he is happy about that." He said: " The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: 'He receives two rewards: A reward in its concealment, and a reward in its publicity.'"
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سِنَانٍ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ الرَّجُلُ يَعْمَلُ الْعَمَلَ فَيُسِرُّهُ فَإِذَا اطُّلِعَ عَلَيْهِ أَعْجَبَهُ ذَلِكَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لَهُ أَجْرَانِ أَجْرُ السِّرِّ وَأَجْرُ الْعَلاَنِيَةِ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ . وَقَدْ رَوَاهُ الأَعْمَشُ وَغَيْرُهُ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مُرْسَلاً وَأَصْحَابُ الأَعْمَشِ لَمْ يَذْكُرُوا فِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَقَدْ فَسَّرَ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ فَقَالَ إِذَا اطُّلِعَ عَلَيْهِ فَأَعْجَبَهُ فَإِنَّمَا مَعْنَاهُ أَنْ يُعْجِبَهُ ثَنَاءُ النَّاسِ عَلَيْهِ بِالْخَيْرِ لِقَوْلِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَنْتُمْ شُهَدَاءُ اللَّهِ فِي الأَرْضِ " . فَيُعْجِبُهُ ثَنَاءُ النَّاسِ عَلَيْهِ لِهَذَا لِمَا يَرْجُو بِثَنَاءِ النَّاسِ عَلَيْهِ فَأَمَّا إِذَا أَعْجَبَهُ لِيَعْلَمَ النَّاسُ مِنْهُ الْخَيْرَ لِيُكْرَمَ عَلَى ذَلِكَ وَيُعَظَّمَ عَلَيْهِ فَهَذَا رِيَاءٌ . وَقَالَ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ إِذَا اطُّلِعَ عَلَيْهِ فَأَعْجَبَهُ رَجَاءَ أَنْ يُعْمَلَ بِعَمَلِهِ فَيَكُونَ لَهُ مِثْلُ أُجُورِهِمْ فَهَذَا لَهُ مَذْهَبٌ أَيْضًا .

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي بَكْرُ بْنُ مُضَرَ ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ بُكَيْرٍ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ ، قَالَ : " أَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ أَتَى إِلَى غُلَامٍ يَزْعُمُ أَنَّهُ ابْنٌ لَهُ، وَأَنَّهُ زَنَى بِأُمِّهِ، وَلَمْ يَدَّعِ ذَلِكَ الْغُلَامَ أَحَدٌ، فَهُوَ يَرِثُهُ ".
قَالَ بُكَيْرٌ : وَسَأَلْتُ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ ذَلِكَ، فَقَالَ مِثْلَ قَوْلِ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ وَقَالَ عُرْوَةُ : بَلَغَنَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ :" الْوَلَدُ لِلْفِرَاشِ، وَلِلْعَاهِرِ الْحَجَرُ "

It is reporter on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah (may peace and blessings be upon him) observed:
There came the people of Yemen who are soft of hearts, tender in feelings: the belief is that of the Yemenites, the sagacity is that of the Yemenites and the summit of unbelief is towards the East.

The Messenger of Allah (may peace and blessing be upon him) observed: You shall not enter Paradise so long as you do not affirm belief (in all those things which are the articles of faith) and you will not believe as long as you do not love one another. Should I not direct you to a thing which, if you do, will foster love amongst you: (i. e.) give currency to (the practice of paying salutation to one another by saying) as-salamu alaikum.

A woman asked the Messenger of Allah (way peace be upon him) about a woman who sees in her dream what a man sees in his dream (sexual dream). He (the Holy Prophet) said: If she experiences what a man experiences, she should take a bath.
حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ رُشَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا صَالِحُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَالِكٍ الأَشْجَعِيُّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ سَأَلَتِ امْرَأَةٌ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنِ الْمَرْأَةِ تَرَى فِي مَنَامِهَا مَا يَرَى الرَّجُلُ فِي مَنَامِهِ فَقَالَ
" إِذَا كَانَ مِنْهَا مَا يَكُونُ مِنَ الرَّجُلِ فَلْتَغْتَسِلْ " .

Narrated Mu'awiyah:
Make intercession, you will be rewarded, for I purposely delay a matter so that you intercede and then you are rewarded. The Messenger of Allah (saws) said: If you make intercession, you will be rewarded.
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ السَّرْحِ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ، عَنْ أَخِيهِ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ، اشْفَعُوا تُؤْجَرُوا فَإِنِّي لأُرِيدُ الأَمْرَ فَأُؤَخِّرُهُ كَيْمَا تَشْفَعُوا فَتُؤْجَرُوا فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" اشْفَعُوا تُؤْجَرُوا " .

Sunan Abi Dawud 1659
The above mentioned tradition has also been transmitted by Abu Hurairah through a different chain of narrators in a similar manner from the Prophet (SAWS). This version adds after the words “does not pay what is due on them” in the description of the camels the words “ One thing which is due being to milk them when they come down to drink water.”

‘Awf b. Malik said:
In the pre-Islamic period we used to apply spells and we asked: Messenger of Allah! how do you look upon it? He replied: Submit your invocations to me. There is no harm in invocations so long as there is no polytheism in them.

Sunan Abi Dawud 3643
Abu Hurairah reported the Prophet (may peace be upon him) as saying:
If anyone pursues a path in search of knowledge, Allah will thereby make easy for him a path to paradise; and he who is made slow by his actions will not be speeded by his genealogy.

Abu Hurairah said :
I heard the Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) say : I am the nearest of kin among the people to (Jesus) son of Mary. The Prophet are brothers, sons of one father by co-wives. There is no Prophet between me and him.

Mishkat al-Masabih 2748
Salih, a client of Sa'd, said that Sa'd found some of the slaves of Medina cutting down some of the trees of Medina and took away their equipment. He then said, i.e. to their owners, that he had heard God's messenger prohibiting the cutting of any of the trees of Medina and saying, “If anyone cuts any of them, what is taken from him goes to the one who seizes him."
Abu Dawud transmitted it.
وَعَنْ صَالِحٍ مَوْلًى لِسَعْدٍ أَنَّ سَعْدًا وَجَدَ عَبِيدًا مِنْ عَبِيدِ الْمَدِينَةِ يَقْطَعُونَ مِنْ شَجَرِ الْمَدِينَةِ فَأَخَذَ مَتَاعَهُمْ وَقَالَ يَعْنِي لِمَوَالِيهِمْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ينْهَى أَنْ يُقْطَعَ مِنْ شَجَرِ الْمَدِينَةِ شَيْءٌ وَقَالَ: «مَنْ قَطَعَ مِنْهُ شَيْئًا فَلِمَنْ أَخَذَهُ سَلَبُهُ» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد

Abu Hurayra reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him
and grant him peace, said, "When a person dies, all action is cut off for
him with the exception of three things:
sadaqa which continues, knowledge
which benefits, or a righteous child who makes supplication for him."
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا الْعَلاَءُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ: إِذَا مَاتَ الْعَبْدُ انْقَطَعَ عَنْهُ عَمَلُهُ إِلاَّ مِنْ ثَلاَثٍ: صَدَقَةٍ جَارِيَةٍ، أَوْ عِلْمٍ يُنْتَفَعُ بِهِ، أَوْ وَلَدٍ صَالِحٍ يَدْعُو لَهُ.

Musa ibn 'Ali reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant
him peace, said, "Shall I show you the greatest sadaqa (or one of
the greatest forms of sadaqa)?" He replied, "Yes, indeed, Messenger
of Allah!" He went on, "To provide for your daughter when she is returned
to you and you are her sole source of provision."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مُوسَى بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ لِسُرَاقَةَ بْنِ جُعْشُمٍ: أَلاَ أَدُلُّكَ عَلَى أَعْظَمِ الصَّدَقَةِ، أَوْ مِنْ أَعْظَمِ الصَّدَقَةِ؟ قَالَ: بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، قَالَ: ابْنَتُكَ مَرْدُودَةٌ إِلَيْكَ، لَيْسَ لَهَا كَاسِبٌ غَيْرُكَ.

'Abdullah ibn 'Ata' said, "This ayat which is in the Qur'an,
'O Prophet, We have sent you as a witness, a bringer of good news and a
warner' (33:45) is found in the Torah in a similar form."

Abu Hurayra said, "When the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless
him and grant him peace, was brought new dates, he said, 'O Allah! Bless
us in our city and in our mudd and sa', blessing upon blessing.' Then he
would give one to the youngest of the children with him."
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا أُتِيَ بِالزَّهْوِ قَالَ: اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِي مَدِينَتِنَا وَمُدِّنَا، وَصَاعِنَا، بَرَكَةً مَعَ بَرَكَةٍ، ثُمَّ نَاوَلَهُ أَصْغَرَ مَنْ يَلِيهِ مِنَ الْوِلْدَانِ.

'Amr ibn Sa'id said, "Al-Hajjaj visited Ibn 'Umar while I was with
him, He asked, 'How are you?' 'Sound,' he replied. He asked, 'What is wrong
with you?' He replied, "I have been afflicted by the business of carrying
arms on a day when it is not lawful to carry them.' He was referring to
al-Hajjaj.*"
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: دَخَلَ الْحَجَّاجُ عَلَى ابْنِ عُمَرَ، وَأَنَا عِنْدَهُ، فَقَالَ: كَيْفَ هُوَ؟ قَالَ: صَالِحٌ، قَالَ: مَنْ أَصَابَكَ؟ قَالَ: أَصَابَنِي مَنْ أَمَرَ بِحَمْلِ السِّلاَحِ فِي يَوْمٍ لاَ يَحِلُّ فِيهِ حَمْلُهُ، يَعْنِي: الْحَجَّاجَ.

Mu'adh ibn Jabal said, "When you have love for your brother, do
not quarrel with him or treat him badly nor ask questions about him, It
may be that an enemy of his will appear and say something about him which
is not true and will thereby cause a split between you."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ، أَنَّ أَبَا الزَّاهِرِيَّةِ حَدَّثَهُ، عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ، عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: إِذَا أَحْبَبْتَ أَخًا فَلاَ تُمَارِهِ، وَلاَ تُشَارِّهِ، وَلاَ تَسْأَلْ عَنْهُ، فَعَسَى أَنْ تُوَافِيَ لَهُ عَدُوًّا فَيُخْبِرَكَ بِمَا لَيْسَ فِيهِ، فَيُفَرِّقَ بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَهُ.

from the sedition of the Dajjal. Seek refuge with Allah from the trials
of life and death."
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ سَلاَمٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم: اسْتَعِيذُوا بِاللَّهِ مِنْ جَهَنَّمَ، اسْتَعِيذُوا بِاللَّهِ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ، اسْتَعِيذُوا بِاللَّهِ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ، اسْتَعِيذُوا بِاللَّهِ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ.

'Abdullah ibn 'Amr reported that a man asked the Messenger of
Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, "Which is the best of Islam?"
He replied, "Feeding people and giving the greeting to those you know and
those you do not know."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْخَيْرِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، أَنَّ رَجُلاً سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم: أَيُّ الإِسْلاَمِ خَيْرٌ؟ قَالَ: تُطْعِمُ الطَّعَامَ، وَتَقْرَأُ السَّلاَمَ عَلَى مَنْ عَرَفْتَ وَمَنْ لَمْ تَعْرِفْ.
