Hisn al-Muslim 91
Subḥānallāhi wa biḥamdih. Glory is to Allah and praise is to Him. (Recite one hundred times in Arabic). Reference: "Whoever recites this one hundred times in the morning and in the evening will not be surpassed on the Day of Resurrection by anyone having done better than this except for someone who had recited it more. " Al-Bukhari 4/2071.

Abu Hurayrah reported:
"I went out with the Messenger of Allah and heard a man reciting Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad [Sūrah Al-Ikhlāṣ] so the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'It is obligatory.' I said: 'What is obligatory?' He said: 'Paradise (is obligatory as a reward for the man).'" Reference: Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2897.
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ أَقْبَلْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَسَمِعَ رَجُلاً يَقْرَأُ ‏(‏قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ * اللَّهُ الصَّمَدُ ‏)‏ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏ وَجَبَتْ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قُلْتُ وَمَا وَجَبَتْ قَالَ ‏"‏ الْجَنَّةُ ‏"‏.‏

Mu'adha al-‘Adawiya said that when she asked ‘A'isha why one who has been menstruating must make up for her fast but not for her prayer, she replied, “That happened to us, and we were ordered to make up for the fast, but were not ordered to make up for the prayer.” Muslim transmitted it.
وَعَنْ مُعَاذَةَ الْعَدَوِيَّةِ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ لِعَائِشَةَ: مَا بَالُ الْحَائِضِ تَقْضِي الصَّوْمَ وَلَا تَقْضِي الصَّلَاةَ؟ قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ: كَانَ يُصِيبُنَا ذَلِكَ فَنُؤْمَرُ بِقَضَاءِ الصَّوْمِ وَلَا نُؤْمَرُ بِقَضَاءِ الصَّلَاةِ. رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ

Abu Sa'id reported God’s Messenger as saying, “When one of you beats his servant and he makes mention of God, you must stop beating him.” Tirmidhi and Baihaqi, in Shu'ab al-iman, transmitted it, but the latter has, “he should stop” instead of “you must stop beating him.”

'A’isha told that when Abu Bakr became caliph he said, “My people know that my trade was not incapable of supporting my family, but I have become occupied with the affairs of the Muslims, so Abu Bakr’s family will be supported from this property while he works for it on behalf of the Muslims." Bukhari transmitted it.
وَعَن عائشةَ قَالَتْ: لِمَّا اسْتُخْلِفَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: لَقَدْ عَلِمَ قَوْمِي أَنَّ حِرْفَتِي لم تكنْ تعجِزُ عَن مَؤونةِ أَهْلِي وَشُغِلْتُ بِأَمْرِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ فَسَيَأْكُلُ آلُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ مِنْ هَذَا الْمَالِ وَيَحْتَرِفُ لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ فِيهِ. رَوَاهُ البُخَارِيّ

In connection with God’s words, “Among them are some who wrong themselves, some who follow a middle course, and some who are foremost in good deeds,” [Quran 35:32] Usama b. Zaid reported the Prophet as saying, “They will all go to paradise.” Baihaqi transmitted it in Kitab al-ba'th wan-nushur.

I heard it from Abu Huraira that he saw a person getting out of the mosque after the call to prayer had been announced. Upon this he remarked: This (man) disobeyed Abu'l-Qasim (may peace be upon him).
وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ الْمَكِّيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، - هُوَ ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ - عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَشْعَثَ بْنِ أَبِي الشَّعْثَاءِ الْمُحَارِبِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، وَرَأَى، رَجُلاً يَجْتَازُ الْمَسْجِدَ خَارِجًا بَعْدَ الأَذَانِ فَقَالَ أَمَّا هَذَا فَقَدْ عَصَى أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏.‏

Abdullah b. al-Mukhtar heard Musa b. Anas narrating on the authority of Anas b. Malik that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) led him, his mother or his aunt in prayer. He made me, stand on his right side and made the woman stand, behind us.

Iyas b. Salama b. al-Akwa' reported on the authority of his father:

We used to observe the Friday prayer with the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) when the sun passed the meridian. and we then returned and tried to find out afternoon shadow (of the walls for protecting themselves from the heat of the sun).

It was narrated from Asma' bint Yazid that :
the Messenger of Allah (saas) said: "The Greatest Name of Allah is in these two Verses: And your Ilah (God) is One Ilah (God - Allah), La Ilaha Illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.' And at the beginning of Surah Al 'Imran."

“Many men have attained perfection but no women have attained perfection except Maryam bint ‘Imran (Mary) and Asiyah the wife of Fir’awn. And the superiority of ‘Aishah over other women is like the superiority of Tharid over all other foods.”

“O Messenger of Allah, my father is an old man and he cannot perform Hajj or ‘Umrah, and he is not able to ride the mount (due to old age).” He said: “Perform Hajj and ‘Umrah on behalf of your father.”

“When the Imam says: ‘Sami’ Allahu liman hamidah (Allah hears those who praise Him),’ say: ‘Allahumma, Rabbana wa lakal-hamd (O Allah! O our Lord! To You is the praise).’”

It was narrated that Ibn al Hanafiyyah said:
`Ali (رضي الله عنه) said: O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), if I have a son after you are gone, I will call him by your name and give him your kunyah. He said: `Yes.` That was a concession from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) to `Ali.

The killer of az-Zubair is at the door. ‘Ali said: The killer of the son of Safiyyah will certainly enter the Fire. I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: `Every Prophet (ﷺ) has a disciple and my disciple is az-Zubair bin al-Awwam.`

It was narrated from `Abeedah, that ‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said on the day of Al-Ahzab. `They distracted us from the middle prayer until the sunset. May Allah fill their graves and houses - or stomachs - with fire.` He (the narrator) was not sure whether it was houses or stomachs. As for graves, there is no doubt about that.

It was narrated that Qais al-Kharifi said:
I heard ‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) say on this minbar. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came first, Abu Bakr (رضي الله عنه) came second and `Umar (رضي الله عنه) came third; then we got involved in turmoil, and it was what Allah willed.

Musnad Ahmad 1266
It was narrated that ‘Asim bin Damrah said:
I said to al-Hasan bin `Ali: The Shi`ah claim that ‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) will return! He said. Those liars are lying. If we knew that, his wives would not have got married and we would not have divided his estate.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ، قَالَ قُلْتُ لِلْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ إِنَّ الشِّيعَةَ يَزْعُمُونَ أَنَّ عَلِيًّا، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ يَرْجِعُ قَالَ كَذَبَ أُولَئِكَ الْكَذَّابُونَ لَوْ عَلِمْنَا ذَاكَ مَا تَزَوَّجَ نِسَاؤُهُ وَلَا قَسَمْنَا مِيرَاثَهُ‏.‏
Grade: Hasan because of corroborating evidence and its isnad is da'eef because of the weakness of Shareek] (Darussalam)

Yahya related to me from Malik from Abdullah ibn Dinar from Sulayman ibn Yasar and from Urwa ibn az-Zubayr from A'isha umm al- muminin, that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, " What is haram by birth is haram by suckling."

وَحَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ "‏ يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ مَا يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الْوِلاَدَةِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Malik related to me from Nafi that Abdullah ibn Umar inherited the house of Hafsa bint Umar. He said, "Hafsa gave lodging to the daughter of Zayd ibn al-Khattab for as long as she lived. When the daughter of Zayd died, Abdullah ibn Umar took possession of the dwelling and considered that it was his."

وَحَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، ‏.‏ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ، وَرِثَ مِنْ حَفْصَةَ بِنْتِ عُمَرَ دَارَهَا قَالَ وَكَانَتْ حَفْصَةُ قَدْ أَسْكَنَتْ بِنْتَ زَيْدِ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ مَا عَاشَتْ فَلَمَّا تُوُفِّيَتْ بِنْتُ زَيْدٍ قَبَضَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْمَسْكَنَ وَرَأَى أَنَّهُ لَهُ ‏.‏

Malik related to me from Nafi from Abdullah ibn Umar that Umar ibn al-Khattab said, "If a slave-girl gives birth to a child by her master, he must not sell her, give her away, or bequeath her. He enjoys her and when he dies she is free ."

Yahya related to me from Malik that Yahya ibn Said said that he heard Said ibn al-Musayyab say, "Shall I tell you what is better than much prayer and sadaqa?" They said, "Yes." He said, "Mending discord. And beware of hatred - it strips you (of your deen)."

وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيَّبِ، يَقُولُ أَلاَ أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِخَيْرٍ، مِنْ كَثِيرٍ مِنَ الصَّلاَةِ وَالصَّدَقَةِ قَالُوا بَلَى ‏.‏ قَالَ إِصْلاَحُ ذَاتِ الْبَيْنِ وَإِيَّاكُمْ وَالْبِغْضَةَ فَإِنَّهَا هِيَ الْحَالِقَةُ ‏.‏

Malik related to me from Zayd ibn Aslam from his father that Umar ibn al-Khattab came upon Abu Bakr as-Siddiq pulling his tongue. Umar said to him, "Stop, may Allah forgive you!" Abu Bakr replied, "This has brought me to dangerous places."

Yahya related to me from Malik that he heard that Luqman al-Hakim made his will and counselled his son, saying, "My son! Sit with the learned men and keep close to them. Allah gives life to the hearts with the light of wisdom as Allah gives life to the dead earth with the abundant rain of the sky."

Narrated Sa`id bin Al-Musaiyab:

Mu'awiya came to Medina for the last time and delivered a sermon. He took out a tuft of hair and said, "I thought that none used to do this (i.e. use false hair) except Jews. The Prophet labelled such practice, (i.e. the use of false hair), as cheating.

حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مُرَّةَ، سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيَّبِ، قَالَ قَدِمَ مُعَاوِيَةُ الْمَدِينَةَ آخِرَ قَدْمَةٍ قَدِمَهَا، فَخَطَبَنَا فَأَخْرَجَ كُبَّةً مِنْ شَعَرٍ قَالَ مَا كُنْتُ أَرَى أَحَدًا يَفْعَلُ هَذَا غَيْرَ الْيَهُودِ، إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم سَمَّاهُ الزُّورَ‏.‏ يَعْنِي الْوَاصِلَةَ فِي الشَّعَرِ‏.‏

وهكذا وقع في بعض روايات الصحيحين‏:‏ "وبركاته" وفي بعضها بحذفها وزيادة الثقة مقبولة

وعن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه أنه سمع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول‏:‏ “إن العبد ليتكلم بالكلمة ما يتبين فيها يزل بها إلى النار أبعد مما بين المشرق والمغرب‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏متفق عليه‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏ ‏

‏ومعني‏:‏ ‏ ‏يتبين‏ ‏ يتفكر أنها خير أم لا.‏

Another narration in Muslim is: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "Being martyred in the Cause of Allah expiates for everything, except debt."

The Prophet (PBUH) used to recite frequently in his bowing and prostration: "Subhanak- Allahumma, Rabbana wa bihamdika. Allahum-maghfir li (O Allah! You are free from imperfection and I begin with praising You. Forgive my sins)."

Ubayd Allah bin Sa’īd narrated to me, Abd ur-Rahman- meaning Ibn Mahdī- narrated to us, Hammād bin Zayd narrated to us, on authority of Ibn Awn, he said, Ibrāhīm said to us:
‘Beware of al-Mughīrah bin Sa’īd and Abū Abd ar-Rahīm for they are both liars’.

In the lifetime of the Prophet, Abu Bakr and `Umar, the Adhan for the Jumua prayer used to be pronounced when the Imam sat on the pulpit. But during the Caliphate of `Uthman when the Muslims increased in number, a third Adhan at Az-Zaura' was added. Abu `Abdullah said, "Az-Zaura' is a place in the market of Medina."

It was narrated that Abdur-Rahman bin Yamur said:
"I saw the Messenger of Allah when people came to him and asked him about Hajj. The Messenger of Allah said: 'Hajj is Arafat. Whoever catches up with the night of Arafat before dawn comes on the night of Jam (Al-Muzdalifah), his Hajj is complete.'"

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that he presented himself to the Messenger of Allah on the Day of Uhud when he was fourteen years old, but he did not permit him (to join the army). He presented himself on the Day of Al-Khandaq when he was fifteen years old, and he permitted him (to join the army).

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أُتِيَ بِالْبُرَاقِ لَيْلَةَ أُسْرِيَ بِهِ مُلْجَمًا مُسْرَجًا فَاسْتَصْعَبَ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ لَهُ جِبْرِيلُ أَبِمُحَمَّدٍ تَفْعَلُ هَذَا فَمَا رَكِبَكَ أَحَدٌ أَكْرَمُ عَلَى اللَّهِ مِنْهُ قَالَ ‏ "‏ فَارْفَضَّ عَرَقًا ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ وَلاَ نَعْرِفُهُ إِلاَّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ ‏.‏

It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said:
"I heard 'Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, delivering a Khutbah on the Minbar of Al-Madinah and he said: 'O people, on the day that the prohibition of Khamr was revealed, it was made from five things: From grapes, dates, honey, wheat and barley. Khamr is that which overcomes the mind.'"

It was narrated that Ibn Abbas said:
"Al-Fadl and I came riding a female donkey of ours, and the Messenger of Allah(saws) was leading the people at Arafat." Then he said something to that effect. "We passed by part of the row, and then we dismounted and left the donkey grazing, and the Messenger of Allah(saws)did not say anything to us."

Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin:

The Messenger of Allah (saws) would sleep while he was sexually defiled without touching water.

Abu Dawud said: Hasan b. 'Ali al-Wasiti said that the heard Yazid b. Harun say: This tradition is based on a misunderstanding, i.e. the tradition reported by Abu Ishaq.

Narrated Al-Bara' ibn Azib:

The Messenger of Allah (saws) used to pass through the row from one side to the other; he used to set out chests and shoulders in order, and say: Do not be irregular. And he would say: Allah and His angels bless those who are near the first rows.

Yahya b. al-Husain reported on the authority of his grandfather that Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) invoked blessing on the occasion of the Farewell Pilgrimage three times for those who got their heads shaved and once for those who got their hair clipped. In the narration transmitted by Waki' there is no mention of the Farewell Pilgrimage.

Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (Allah be pleased with him) reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) was asked about 'azl, whereupon he said:

The child does not come from all the liquid (sermen) and when Allah intends to create anything nothing can prevent it (from coming into existence).

He who takes an oath in the course of which he says: By Lat (and al-'Uzza), he should say: There is no god but Allah; and that if anyone says to his friend:" Come and I will gamble with you," he should pay sadaqa.

"We were halted at Jama when Umar bin Al-Khattab said: 'The idolaters would not depart until the sun had risen and they would say: "Let the sun shine on Thabir" and indeed the Messenger of Allah contradicted them.' So Umar departed before the rising of the sun."
