Sunan Abi Dawud 1660
Narrated Abu Hurayrah:
I heard the Messenger of Allah (saws) as saying something similar to this tradition. He (the narrator) said to AbuHurayrah: What is due on camels? He replied: That you should give the best of your camels (in the path of Allah), that you lend a milch she-camel, you lend your mount for riding, that you lend the stallion for covering, and that you give the milk (to the people) for drinking.
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي عُمَرَ الْغُدَانِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَحْوَ هَذِهِ الْقِصَّةِ فَقَالَ لَهُ - يَعْنِي لأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ - فَمَا حَقُّ الإِبِلِ قَالَ تُعْطِي الْكَرِيمَةَ وَتَمْنَحُ الْغَزِيرَةَ وَتُفْقِرُ الظَّهْرَ وَتُطْرِقُ الْفَحْلَ وَتَسْقِي اللَّبَنَ .

Narrated Ali ibn AbuTalib:
When the Messenger of Allah (saws) sacrificed the camels, he sacrificed thirty of them with his own hand, and then commanded me (to sacrifice them), so I sacrificed the rest of them.

Ibn AbuNajih reported from his father on the authority of two men from Banu Bakr who said:
We saw the Messenger of Allah (saws) addressing (the people) in the middle of the tashriq days when we were staying near his mount. This is the address of the Messenger of Allah (saws) which he gave at Mina.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلاَءِ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ رَجُلَيْنِ، مِنْ بَنِي بَكْرٍ قَالاَ رَأَيْنَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَخْطُبُ بَيْنَ أَوْسَطِ أَيَّامِ التَّشْرِيقِ وَنَحْنُ عِنْدَ رَاحِلَتِهِ وَهِيَ خُطْبَةُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم الَّتِي خَطَبَ بِمِنًى .

The Messenger of Allah (saws) said about the game hunted by a dog: If you set off your dog and have mentioned Allah's name, eat (it), even if it eats any of it; and eat what your hands return you.

Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas:
The Prophet (saws) said: An estate which was divided in pre-Islamic period may follow the division in force then, but any estate in Islamic times must follow the division laid down by Islam.

Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar:
Zayd ibn Aslam said: Abdullah ibn Umar entered upon Mu'awiyah. He asked: (Tell me) your need, AbuAbdurRahman. He replied: Give (the spoils) to those who were set free, for I saw the first thing the Messenger of Allah (saws) did when anything came to him was to give something to those who had been set free.

Umar ibn Khaldah said:
We came to AbuHurayrah who had become insolvent. He said: I shall decide between you on the basis of the decision of the Messenger of Allah (saws): If anyone becomes insolvent or dies and the man (the seller) finds his very property with him, he is more entitled to it (than others).

Narrated Ash-Sharid:
The Prophet (saws) said: Delay in payment on the part of one who possesses means makes it lawful to dishonour and punish him. Ibn al-Mubarak said that "dishonour" means that he may be spoken to roughly and "punish" means he may be imprisoned for it.

Yazid b. Abi ‘Ubaid said :
I saw a sign of injury in the shin of Salamah. I asked : What is this ? He replied : I was afflicted. I was afflicted by it on the day of Khaibar. The people said : Salamah has been afflicted. I was then brought to the Prophet (may peace be upon him). He blew on me three times. I did not feel any pain up till now.
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي سُرَيْجٍ الرَّازِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَكِّيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ، قَالَ رَأَيْتُ أَثَرَ ضَرْبَةٍ فِي سَاقِ سَلَمَةَ فَقُلْتُ مَا هَذِهِ قَالَ أَصَابَتْنِي يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ فَقَالَ النَّاسُ أُصِيبَ سَلَمَةُ فَأُتِيَ بِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَنَفَثَ فِيَّ ثَلاَثَ نَفَثَاتٍ فَمَا اشْتَكَيْتُهَا حَتَّى السَّاعَةِ .

when he carries out Allah's due in worship (or he said that he is excellent
in his worship) and the right of his owner who owns him."
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بُرْدَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا بُرْدَةَ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم: الْمَمْلُوكُ لَهُ أَجْرَانِ إِذَا أَدَّى حَقَّ اللهِ فِي عِبَادَتِهِ، أَوْ قَالَ: فِي حُسْنِ عِبَادَتِهِ، وَحَقَّ مَلِيكِهِ الَّذِي يَمْلِكُهُ.

Mihsan al-Ansari reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him
and grant him peace, said, "When someone is secure in his property, healthy
in his body and has his food for the day, it is as if he owned the entire
world."

Abu'd-Darda' reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and
grant him peace, said, "Shall I tell you a degree better than prayer, fasting
and sadaqa?" "Yes," they replied. He went to say, Improving a state of
friendship. Causing discord in a state of friendship is what shaves things
away."

father had not become Muslim. He began to say, 'My son, my son.'"
حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْحَكَمِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مَحْبُوبُ بْنُ مُحْرِزٍ الْكُوفِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الصَّعْبُ بْنُ حَكِيمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ: أَتَيْتُ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، فَجَعَلَ يَقُولُ: يَا ابْنَ أَخِي، ثُمَّ سَأَلَنِي؟ فَانْتَسَبْتُ لَهُ، فَعَرَفَ أَنَّ أَبِي لَمْ يُدْرِكِ الإِسْلاَمَ، فَجَعَلَ يَقُولُ: يَا بُنَيَّ يَا بُنَيَّ.

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ خَارِجَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ كُبَرَاءِ آلِ زَيْدٍ، أَنَّ زَيْدًا كَتَبَ بِهَذِهِ الرِّسَالَةِ: لِعَبْدِ اللهِ مُعَاوِيَةَ أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، مِنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ: سَلاَمٌ عَلَيْكَ أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ، فَإِنِّي أَحْمَدُ إِلَيْكَ اللَّهَ الَّذِي لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ، أَمَّا بَعْدُ.

Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 1195
Abu Musa al-Ash'ari related that the Prophet, may Allah bless
him and grant him peace, was sitting in a walled garden on the rim of a
well, dangling his feet into the well.
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: شَهِدَ عِنْدِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَخْبَرَهُ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ نَافِعِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَارِثِ الْخُزَاعِيُّ، أَنَّ أَبَا مُوسَى الأَشْعَرِيَّ أَخْبَرَهُ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ فِي حَائِطٍ عَلَى قُفِّ الْبِئْرِ، مُدَلِّيًا رِجْلَيْهِ فِي الْبِئْرِ.

Narrated 'Aishah (RA) regarding Allah's Messenger (SAW) leading the people in Salat (prayer) during his illness. She said, "He came and sat on the left side of Abu Bakr (RA). So he (SAW) was leading the people in prayer while sitting and Abu Bakr standing. Abu Bakr was following the prayer of the Prophet (SAW), and the people were following the prayer of Abu Bakr."

وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهَا فِي قِصَّةِ صَلَاةِ رَسُولِ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -بِالنَّاسِ, وَهُوَ مَرِيضٌ - قَالَتْ: { فَجَاءَ حَتَّى جَلَسَ عَنْ يَسَارِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ, فَكَانَ يُصَلِّي بِالنَّاسِ جَالِسًا وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ قَائِمًا, يَقْتَدِي أَبُو بَكْرٍ بِصَلَاةِ اَلنَّبِيِّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -وَيَقْتَدِي اَلنَّاسُ بِصَلَاةِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْه ِ 1 .

Hadith 11, 40 Hadith an-Nawawi
On the authority of Abu Muhammad al-Hasan ibn Ali ibn Abee Talib (may Allah be pleased with him), the grandson of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and the one much loved by him, who said:
I memorised from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): “Leave that which makes you doubt for that which does not make you doubt.”

At-Tirmidhi said that it was a good and sound (hasan saheeh) hadeeth.
عَنْ أَبِي مُحَمَّدٍ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ سِبْطِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه و سلم وَرَيْحَانَتِهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا، قَالَ: حَفِظْت مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه و سلم "دَعْ مَا يُرِيبُك إلَى مَا لَا يُرِيبُك".
رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ [رقم:2520]،

وَقَالَ التِّرْمِذِيُّ: حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.

Hadith 18, 40 Hadith an-Nawawi
On the authority of Abu Dharr Jundub ibn Junadah, and Abu Abdur-Rahman Muadh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
Have taqwa (fear) of Allah wherever you may be, and follow up a bad deed with a good deed which will wipe it out, and behave well towards the people.
It was related by at-Tirmidhi, who said it was a hasan (good) hadeeth, and in some copies it is stated to be a hasan saheeh hadeeth.
عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ جُنْدَبِ بْنِ جُنَادَةَ، وَأَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه و سلم قَالَ:
"اتَّقِ اللَّهَ حَيْثُمَا كُنْت، وَأَتْبِعْ السَّيِّئَةَ الْحَسَنَةَ تَمْحُهَا، وَخَالِقْ النَّاسَ بِخُلُقٍ حَسَنٍ" .
رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ [رقم:1987] وَقَالَ: حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ، وَفِي بَعْضِ النُّسَخِ: حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.

Sahih Muslim 409 a
Abu Huraira reported:
The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: When the Imam says:" Allah listens to him who praises Him." you should say:" O Allah, our Lord for Thee is the praise." for if what anyone says synchronises with what the angels say, his past sins will be forgiven.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ عَنْ سُمَىٍّ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" إِذَا قَالَ الإِمَامُ سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ . فَقُولُوا اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ . فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ وَافَقَ قَوْلُهُ قَوْلَ الْمَلاَئِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ " .

The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: When the reciter (Imam) utters:" Not of those on whom (is Thine) wrath and not the erring ones," and (the person) behind him utters Amin and his utterance synchronises with that of the dwellers of heavens, all his previous sins would be pardoned.

" إِذَا قَالَ الْقَارِئُ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ الضَّالِّينَ . فَقَالَ مَنْ خَلْفَهُ آمِينَ . فَوَافَقَ قَوْلُهُ قَوْلَ أَهْلِ السَّمَاءِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ " .

The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: Whoever (woman) fumigates herself with perfume should not join us in the 'Isha' prayer.

The Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) prayed in a garment which had designs over it, so he (the Holy Prophet) said: Take it to Abu Jahm and bring me a plain blanket from him, because its designs have distracted me.

" شَغَلَتْنِي أَعْلاَمُ هَذِهِ فَاذْهَبُوا بِهَا إِلَى أَبِي جَهْمٍ وَائْتُونِي بِأَنْبِجَانِيِّهِ " .

The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: When the supper is served to any one of you and the prayer also begins. (in such a case) first take supper, and do not make haste (for prayer) till you have (taken the food).

" إِذَا وُضِعَ عَشَاءُ أَحَدِكُمْ وَأُقِيمَتِ الصَّلاَةُ فَابْدَءُوا بِالْعَشَاءِ وَلاَ يَعْجَلَنَّ حَتَّى يَفْرُغَ مِنْهُ " .

Abu Salama reported Abu Huraira as saying:
Iqama was pronounced. ant the people had formed themselves into rows. The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) came out and stood at his place, and then pointed out with his hand that we should stand at our places. He then went away and took a bath and water trickled from his head and then led them in prayer.
وَحَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَمْرٍو، - يَعْنِي الأَوْزَاعِيَّ - حَدَّثَنَا الزُّهْرِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلاَةُ وَصَفَّ النَّاسُ صُفُوفَهُمْ وَخَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَامَ مَقَامَهُ فَأَوْمَأَ إِلَيْهِمْ بِيَدِهِ أَنْ
" مَكَانَكُمْ " . فَخَرَجَ وَقَدِ اغْتَسَلَ وَرَأْسُهُ يَنْطِفُ الْمَاءَ فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ .

The angels invoke blessings on everyone among you so long as he is in a place of worship with these words: O Allah! pardon him, O Allah, have mercy upon him, (and they continue to do so) as long as, he ablution (of the worshipper) is not broken, and one among you is in prayer and so long as he is detained for the prayer.

" إِنَّ الْمَلاَئِكَةَ تُصَلِّي عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مَا دَامَ فِي مَجْلِسِهِ تَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ وَأَحَدُكُمْ فِي صَلاَةٍ مَا كَانَتِ الصَّلاَةُ تَحْبِسُهُ " .

Sahl b. Said said:

" Alif-Lam-Mim, Tanzil" in the first rak'ah, and in the second one:" Surely there came over the man a time when he was nothing that could be mentioned."

'Amir b. Sa'd b. Abu Waqqas told that Sa'd b. Abu Waqqas said during his illness of which he died:
" Make a niche for me in the side of the grave and set up bricks over me as was done in case of Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him).
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْمِسْوَرِيُّ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ، مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ، أَنَّ سَعْدَ بْنَ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ، قَالَ فِي مَرَضِهِ الَّذِي هَلَكَ فِيهِ الْحَدُوا لِي لَحْدًا وَانْصِبُوا عَلَىَّ اللَّبِنَ نَصْبًا كَمَا صُنِعَ بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم .

Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (Allah be pleased with him) reported:
We went out on an expedition with Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) on the 16th of Ramadan. Some of us fasted and some of us broke the fast. But neither the observer of the fast found fault with one who broke it, nor the breaker of the fast found fault with one who observed it.

" أَيْنَ أَنْتَ مِنَ الاِسْتِغْفَارِ تَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ فِي الْيَوْمِ سَبْعِينَ مَرَّةً " .

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:
"The Messenger of Allah (SAW) passed by a man who was selling food. He put his hand in it and saw that there was something wrong with it. The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, 'He is not one of us who cheats."'

Be moderate in seeking worldly things, for everyone will be facilitated for which he was created."

It was narrated that 'Umair, the freed slave of Aabi Lahm, said:
"My master used to give me food and I would feed others from it, then he stopped me," or he said: "He beat me. So I asked the Prophet,” -or- "he asked him and I said: 'I will not stop.' He said: 'Both of you will be rewarded."'

" الأَجْرُ بَيْنَكُمَا " .

Sunan Ibn Majah 2345
It was narrated from 'Imran bin Husain that :
a man had six slaves, and he did not have any other wealth apart from them, and he set them free when he died. The Messenger of Allah (SAW) divided them into groups, set two free and left four as slaves.
حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلاَبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُهَلَّبِ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلاً، كَانَ لَهُ سِتَّةُ مَمْلُوكِينَ لَيْسَ لَهُ مَالٌ غَيْرُهُمْ فَأَعْتَقَهُمْ عِنْدَ مَوْتِهِ فَجَزَّأَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَأَعْتَقَ اثْنَيْنِ وَأَرَقَّ أَرْبَعَةً .

Sunan Ibn Majah 2352
It was narrated from 'Abdul-Hamid bin Salamah, from his father, from his grandfather, that :
his parents referred their dispute to the Prophet (SAW), and one of them was a disbeliever. He (the Prophet (SAW)) said: “O Allah, guide him,” and he turned towards the Muslim, and he ruled that he should go with that parent.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ الْبَتِّيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، أَنَّ أَبَوَيْهِ، اخْتَصَمَا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَحَدُهُمَا كَافِرٌ وَالآخَرُ مُسْلِمٌ فَخَيَّرَهُ فَتَوَجَّهَ إِلَى الْكَافِرِ فَقَالَ
" اللَّهُمَّ اهْدِهِ " . فَتَوَجَّهَ إِلَى الْمُسْلِمِ فَقَضَى لَهُ بِهِ .

“A legal punishment that is carried out in the land is better for the people of that land than if it were to rain for forty days.”

It was narrated from Sulaiman bin Amr bin Ahwas that his father said:
I heard the Messenger of Allah (SAW) saying during the Farewell pilgrimage: “No criminal commits a crime but he brings. (the punishment for that) upon himself. No father can bring punishment upon his son by his crime, and no son can bring punishment upon his father.”

Abu Darda said:
“I heard the Messenger of Allah (SAW) say: 'There is no man who suffers some (injury) on his body and forgives (the perpetrator), but Allah (SWT) will raise him one degree in status thereby, or erase from him one sin.'My own ears heard it and my heart memorized it.”

" مَا مِنْ رَجُلٍ يُصَابُ بِشَىْءٍ مِنْ جَسَدِهِ فَيَتَصَدَّقُ بِهِ إِلاَّ رَفَعَهُ اللَّهُ بِهِ دَرَجَةً أَوْ حَطَّ عَنْهُ بِهِ خَطِيئَةً " . سَمِعَتْهُ أُذُنَاىَ وَوَعَاهُ قَلْبِي .

time,
then I weighed it and soon it was all gone.”

say: Adhhibil-bas, Rabban-nas, washfi Antash-Shafi, la shifa’a illa
shifa’uka shifa’an la yughadiru saqama (Take away the pain, O Lord of
mankind, and grant healing, for You are the Healer, and there is no
healing but Your healing that leaves no trace of sickness).’”

granted a concession to Zubair bin ‘Awwam and ‘Abdur-Rahman bin

allowing them to wear silk shirts, because of a rash they
were
suffering from.

Sunan Ibn Majah 3593
It was
narrated from ‘Umar that he used to forbid silk and brocade,
except
for what was like this:
Then he gestured with his finger, then
a
second, and a third, and a fourth (i.e., the width of four fingers),
and he said: “The Messenger of Allah (saw) used to forbid it.”
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ عُمَرَ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَنْهَى عَنِ الْحَرِيرِ، وَالدِّيبَاجِ، إِلاَّ مَا كَانَ هَكَذَا ثُمَّ أَشَارَ بِإِصْبَعِهِ ثُمَّ الثَّانِيَةِ ثُمَّ الثَّالِثَةِ ثُمَّ الرَّابِعَةِ فَقَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَنْهَانَا عَنْهُ .

narrated from Sa’eed bin Abu Sa’eed that ‘Ubaid bin Juraij
asked Ibn ‘Umar:
“I see that you dye your beard yellow with
Wars.” Ibn
‘Umar said: “As for my dyeing of my beard yellow
with Wars, I saw the
Messenger of Allah (saw) dyeing his beard
yellow.”

narrated from Abu Bakr As-Siddiq that the Messenger of Allah

was asked:
“Which actions are best?” He said: “Raising one’s
voice and slaughtering the sacrificial animal.”

narrated that Duba’ah said:
“The Messenger of Allah (saw)
entered
upon me when I was unwell. He said: ‘Do you intend to perform
Hajj
this year?’ I said: ‘I am sick, O Messenger of Allah.’ He said:
‘Go for Hajj and say: “I will exit Ihram from the point where I
am
prevented.’”

It was
narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Prophet (saw) marked the
sacrificial animal on the right side of the hump and wiped away the
blood.

of you recites should be the Tashahhud.’”

“I have been commanded to prostrate on seven, but not to tuck up

hair or my garment.”

" أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَسْجُدَ عَلَى سَبْعٍ وَلاَ أَكُفَّ شَعَرًا وَلاَ ثَوْبًا " .
قَالَ ابْنُ طَاوُسٍ فَكَانَ أَبِي يَقُولُ الْيَدَيْنِ وَالرُّكْبَتَيْنِ وَالْقَدَمَيْنِ وَكَانَ يَعُدُّ الْجَبْهَةَ وَالأَنْفَ وَاحِدًا .

row on his own, and the Prophet (saw) commanded him to repeat the
prayer.’”

“I asked ‘Aishah about the Witr of

of the night, at the beginning, in the middle and at the end, when he
died (he would perform it) just before dawn.’”

wanted to bow, he stood up and bowed.”

who sits down is equivalent to half of the prayer of one who stands.”

Sunan Ibn Majah 1341
It was
narrated that Abu Hurairah said:
“The Messenger of Allah (saw)
entered the mosque and heard a man reciting Qur’an. He asked: ‘Who
is
this?’ It was said: ‘(He is) ‘Abdullah bin Qais.’ He said:
‘He has
been given (sweet melodious voice) from the Mazamir of the
family of
Dawud.’”
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَنْبَأَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ الْمَسْجِدَ فَسَمِعَ قِرَاءَةَ رَجُلٍ فَقَالَ " مَنْ هَذَا " . فَقِيلَ هَذَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ قَيْسٍ . فَقَالَ " لَقَدْ أُوتِيَ هَذَا مِنْ مَزَامِيرِ آلِ دَاوُدَ " .

Sunan Ibn Majah 1427
It was
narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (saw) said:
“Is
anyone
of you incapable, when he prays, of stepping forwards or
backwards,
or to his right or left?” meaning in order to offer a
voluntary
prayer.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنْ حَجَّاجِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ
" أَيَعْجِزُ أَحَدُكُمْ إِذَا صَلَّى أَنْ يَتَقَدَّمَ أَوْ يَتَأَخَّرَ أَوْ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ أَوْ عَنْ شِمَالِهِ " يَعْنِي السُّبْحَةَ .

Sunan Ibn Majah 1477
It was
narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (SAW)
said:
‘Hasten with the funeral (procession), for if the person was
righteous then you are advancing him towards good, and if he was
otherwise then it is evil which you are taking off of your necks.”
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَهِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ
" أَسْرِعُوا بِالْجِنَازَةِ فَإِنْ تَكُنْ صَالِحَةً فَخَيْرٌ تُقَدِّمُونَهَا إِلَيْهِ وَإِنْ تَكُنْ غَيْرَ ذَلِكَ فَشَرٌّ تَضَعُونَهُ عَنْ رِقَابِكُمْ " .

Sunan Ibn Majah 1539
It was
narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (SAW) said:
“Whoever
offers the funeral prayer will have one Qirat and whoever
awaits
until (the burial) is finished will have two Qirat.” They said:
‘What are these two Qirat?’ He said: ‘Like two mountains.’”
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَى جِنَازَةٍ فَلَهُ قِيرَاطٌ وَمَنِ انْتَظَرَ حَتَّى يُفْرَغَ مِنْهَا فَلَهُ قِيرَاطَانِ " . قَالُوا وَمَا الْقِيرَاطَانِ قَالَ " مِثْلُ الْجَبَلَيْنِ " .

Sunan Ibn Majah 1600
It was
narrated from Fatimah bint Husain that her father said:
The
Prophet
(SAW) said: “Whoever was stricken with a calamity and when he
remembers it he says ‘Inna lillahi, wa inna ilayhi raji’un
(Truly, to
Allah we belong and truly, to Him we shall return),’
even though it
happened a long time ago, Allah will record for him a
reward like that
of the day it befell him.”
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعُ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ، عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْحُسَيْنِ، عَنْ أَبِيهَا، قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ
" مَنْ أُصِيبَ بِمُصِيبَةٍ فَذَكَرَ مُصِيبَتَهُ فَأَحْدَثَ اسْتِرْجَاعًا - وَإِنْ تَقَادَمَ عَهْدُهَا - كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ مِنَ الأَجْرِ مِثْلَهُ يَوْمَ أُصِيبَ " .

Sunan Ibn Majah 1612
It was
narrated that Jarir bin ‘Abdullah Al-Bajali said:
“We used to
think that gathering with the family of the deceased and preparing
food was a form of wailing.”
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا شُجَاعُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ أَبُو الْفَضْلِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْبَجَلِيِّ، قَالَ كُنَّا نَرَى الاِجْتِمَاعَ إِلَى أَهْلِ الْمَيِّتِ وَصَنْعَةَ الطَّعَامِ مِنَ النِّيَاحَةِ .

Sunan Ibn Majah 3933
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (saw)
said:
“The whole of the Muslim is sacred to his fellow Muslim, his
blood, his wealth and his honor.”
حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نَافِعٍ، وَيُونُسُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، جَمِيعًا عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، مَوْلَى عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَامِرِ بْنِ كُرَيْزٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ
" كُلُّ الْمُسْلِمِ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِ حَرَامٌ دَمُهُ وَمَالُهُ وَعِرْضُهُ " .

Sunan Ibn Majah 4041
It was narrated that Hudhaifah bin Asid said:
"The Prophet (saw)
looked out at us from a room, when we were talking about the Hour. He
said: 'The Hour will not begin until there are ten signs: Dajjal,
(False Christ), the smoke, and the rising of the sun from the west.'"
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ فُرَاتٍ الْقَزَّازِ، عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ بْنِ أَسِيدٍ، قَالَ اطَّلَعَ عَلَيْنَا النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ مِنْ غُرْفَةٍ وَنَحْنُ نَتَذَاكَرُ السَّاعَةَ فَقَالَ
" لاَ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى تَكُونَ عَشْرُ آيَاتٍ الدَّجَّالُ وَالدُّخَانُ وَطُلُوعُ الشَّمْسِ مِنْ مَغْرِبِهَا " .

Sunan Ibn Majah 4090
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (saw)
said:
“When the fierce battles take place, Allah will send a troop
of
freed slaves who will be the best Arab horsemen and the best
armed,
with whom Allah will support His religion.”
حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي الْعَاتِكَةِ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ الْمُحَارِبِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ
" إِذَا وَقَعَتِ الْمَلاَحِمُ بَعَثَ اللَّهُ بَعْثًا مِنَ الْمَوَالِي هُمْ أَكْرَمُ الْعَرَبِ فَرَسًا وَأَجْوَدُهُ سِلاَحًا يُؤَيِّدُ اللَّهُ بِهِمُ الدِّينَ " .
