Ibn ‘Umar reported God's messenger as saying, “The hypocrite is like a ewe which goes to and fro between two flocks, turning at one time to the one and at another time to the other.”

He reported God's messenger as saying that on the day of resurrection God will seize the earth and fold the sky in His right hand, then say, "I am the King. Where are the kings of the earth?"

Jabir reported God's messenger as saying, "People will come forth from hell like tha'arir because of the intercession." He was asked the meaning of tha'arir and replied that it meant small cucumbers.

Abu Dharr told that he asked God's messenger whether he had seen his Lord and received the reply, "He is Light; how can I see Him?"
Muslim transmitted it.

Umm Salama reported God's messenger as saying, "A hypocrite does not love `Ali and a believer does not hate him."
Ahmad and Tirmidhi transmitted it, Tirmidhi saying this is a hasan tradition whose isnad is gharib.

Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
I asked the Messenger of Allah (PBUH): "Who is the most excellent among the Muslims?" He said, "One from whose tongue and hands the other Muslims are secure."

He also reported God’s messenger as saying, “People will continue to ask one another questions till someone says this, ‘God created all things, but who created God?’ Whoever comes across anything of that nature should say, ‘I believe in God and in His messengers.’ ”

Aishah, the Mother of the Believers, narrated:
"The Messenger of Allah visited me one day and said: 'Do you have anything (to eat)?'" She said: "I said: 'No.' He said: 'Then I am fasting.'"
