Sahih Muslim 1138
Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) forbade fasting on these two days. 'Id-ul-Adha and 'Id-ul-Fitr.

I saw the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) riding on his camel at Dhu'l-Hulaifa and pronouncing Talbiya as it stood up with him.

'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported:
Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) bought from a Jew grain (as loan) and pledged him his iron coat-of-mail.

Sahih Muslim 2065 a
Umm Salama, the wife of Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him), said:
He who drinks in the vessel of silver in fact drinks down in his belly the fire of Hell.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " الَّذِي يَشْرَبُ فِي آنِيَةِ الْفِضَّةِ إِنَّمَا يُجَرْجِرُ فِي بَطْنِهِ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ " .

Sahih Muslim 2088 e
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying:
There was a person (living before you) who took pride in his cloak. the rest of the hadith is the same.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ
أَبِي رَافِعٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " إِنَّ رَجُلاً
مِمَّنْ كَانَ قَبْلَكُمْ يَتَبَخْتَرُ فِي حُلَّةٍ " . ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ مِثْلَ حَدِيثِهِمْ .

'Ali reported:
Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) forbade me that I should wear a ring in this and that finger of mine, and he pointed to the middle finger and the next one.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ،
قَالَ قَالَ عَلِيٌّ نَهَانِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنْ أَتَخَتَّمَ فِي إِصْبَعِي هَذِهِ أَوْ
هَذِهِ . قَالَ فَأَوْمَأَ إِلَى الْوُسْطَى وَالَّتِي تَلِيهَا .

Sahih Muslim 2101 a
Anas b. Malik reported that Allah's Apostle (may peace he upon him) forbade dyeing (one's cloth or hair) in saffron. Hammad said that it pertains to men only.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، وَأَبُو الرَّبِيعِ، وَقُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ يَحْيَى أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ،
بْنُ زَيْدٍ وَقَالَ الآخَرَانِ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ صُهَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ
صلى الله عليه وسلم نَهَى عَنِ التَّزَعْفُرِ . قَالَ قُتَيْبَةُ قَالَ حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي لِلرِّجَالِ .

Abu Huraira reported that the name of Zainab was Barra. It was said of her:
She presents herself to be innocent. Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) gave her the name of Zainab.

وَحَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي مَيْمُونَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ زَيْنَبَ، كَانَ اسْمُهَا بَرَّةَ فَقِيلَ تُزَكِّي نَفْسَهَا .

This hadith has been transmitted on the authority of Shu'ba with a slight variation of wording and that is:
The Holy Prophet (may peace be upon him) uttered these words: It is I. it is I." in the manner as if he disapproved of this.
وَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ، وَأَبُو عَامِرٍ الْعَقَدِيُّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنِي وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ بِشْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ، كُلُّهُمْ
عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ . وَفِي حَدِيثِهِمْ كَأَنَّهُ كَرِهَ ذَلِكَ .
