"I heard the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) say: 'the Shaitan sits in the paths of the son of Adam. He sits waiting for him, in the path to Islam, and he says: Will you accept Islam, and leave your religion, and the religion of your forefathers? But he disobeys him and accepts Islam. Then he sits waiting for him, on the path to emigration, and he says: Will you emigrate and leave behind your land and sky? The one who emigrates is like a horse tethered to a peg. But he disobeys him and emigrates. Then he sits, waiting for him, on the path to Jihad, and he says: Will you fight in Jihad when it will cost you your life and your wealth? You will fight and be killed, and your wife will remarry, and your wealth will be divided. But he disobeys him and fights in Jihad.' The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: 'Whoever does that, then he had a right from Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, that He will admit him to paradise. Whoever is killed, he has a right from Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, that He will admit him to Paradise. If he is drowned, he has a right from Allah that He will admit him to paradise, or whoever is thrown by his mount and his neck is broken, he had a right from Allah that he will admit him to Paradise.'"

When the Prophet (saws) felt the need of relieving himself, he went far off where no one could see him.

If anyone helps his people in an unrighteous cause, he is like a camel which falls into a well and is pulled out by its tail.

I asked: Messenger of Allah! what is party spirit? He replied: That you should help your people in wrongdoing.

The Prophet (saws) said: When a man loves his brother, he should tell him that he loves him.

When the people of the Yemen came, the Messenger of Allah (saws) said: The people of the Yemen have come to you and they are first to shake hands.

A woman must not make a journey of three days unless she is accompanied by a man who is within the prohibited degree.

Ibn `Umr used to seat his slave girl called Safiyyah behind him(on the Camel) and thus she travelled to Makkah in his company.

Do not turn unbelievers after me ; one of you may strike the neck of the other.

Your names which are dearest to Allah are ‘Abd Allah and ‘Abd al-Rahman.

Yazid bin Al Asamm, Maimunah’s nephew said on Maimunah’s authority The Apostle of Allaah(saws) married me when we were not in the sacred state at Sarif.

A prostration when reciting Sad is not one of those which are divinely commanded, but I have seen Messenger of Allah (saws) prostrate himself.

Ibn ‘Umar reported the Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) as saying; Do not prevent the female servant your women from visiting the mosques of Allah.

The Messenger of Allah (saws) mentioned bedding and said: There should be bedding for a man, bedding for his wife, and third for a guest, but a fourth for the devil.

"The curtain was embellished."

When the Messenger of Allah (saws) stood at the end of two rak’ahs, he uttered the takbir (Allah is most great) and raised his hands.

I heard Ibn al-Zubair say: Setting the feet right and placing one hand on the other is a sunnah.
