‘Abdallah b. ‘Abbas reported God’s Messenger as saying, “Only God punishes with fire.” Bukhari transmitted it.

Abu Huraira reported God’s messenger as saying, “An Abyssinian with short legs will destroy the Ka'ba.” Bukhari and Muslim.

‘Abdallah b. Zaid said that the Prophet performed each detail of his ablution twice. Bukhari transmitted it.

Ibn ‘Abbas said that the Prophet had himself cupped when he was in the sacred state. Bukhari and Muslim.

Abu Huraira said that God’s Messenger forbade putting the hands on the waist during prayer. (Bukhari and Muslim.)

Ibn ‘Umar said the greatest oath the Prophet used was, “No, by Him who overturns the hearts.” Bukhari transmitted it.

Abu Huraira reported God’s messenger as saying, “If anyone breaks his fast one day in Ramadan without a concession* or without being ill, a perpetual fast will not atone for it even if he observes it.” *e.g. while travelling. Ahmad, Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud, Ibn Majah, Darimi and Bukhari in a chapter heading transmitted it. Tirmidhi said that he heard Muhammad, i.e. Bukhari, say this was the only tradition he knew by Abul Mutawwis the transmitter.

Subhānaka Allāhumma wa biḥamdika, wa tabāraka 'smuka, wa ta'ālā jadduka, wa lā 'ilāha ghayruk. Glory is to You O Allah, and praise. Blessed is Your Name and Exalted is Your Majesty. "I wished that I could see the Messenger of Allah when Revelation was coming down to him. While we were in Al-Jirranah and the Prophet was in a tent, Revelation was coming down to him and 'Umar gestured to me to come. So I put my head into the tent. A man had come to him who had entered Ihram wearing a said: 'O Messenger of Allah, what do you say concerning a man who entered Ihram wearing a Jubbah?'Then (because of this question) the Revelation came. The Prophet started to breath deeply, and when it was over he said: 'Where is the man who asked me just now?' The man was brought to him, and he saidA: 'As for the Jubbah, take it off, and as for the perfume, wash it off, then enter Ihram.'''(Sahih) Chatper 30. The Prohibiton Of Wearing A Shirt In Ihram

That the Prophet (saws) said: "Spread the (greetings of) Salam, feed others, strike the heads (of the enemy disbelievers); you will inherit Paradise."

He said: There are narrations on this topic from 'Abdullah bin 'Amr, Ibn 'Umar, Anas, 'Abdus-Salam, 'Abdur-Rahman bin 'Aish, and Shuraih bin Hani' from his father.

[Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih Gharib as a narration of [Ibn Ziyad] from Abu Hurairah.

"The Prophet (saws) was eating food with six of his Companions. A Bedouin came and ate it in two mouthfuls. So the Messenger of Allah (saws) said: "As for him, had he mentioned (Allah's Name), it would have been enough for all of you."

[Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih. Umm Kulthum is the daughter of Muhammad bin Abi Bakr As-Siddiq, may Allah be pleased with them.

That the Messenger of Allah (saws) said to the people of weights and measures: "Indeed you have been entrusted with two matters that nations preceding you in the past were destroyed for."

[Abu 'Eisa said:] We do not know this Hadith to be Marfu' except through the narration of Husain bin Qais, and Husain bin Qais was graded weak in Hadith. This has been reported as Maquf narration from Ibn 'Abbas with a Sahih chain of narration.

That the Prophet (saws) said: "Do not withhold surplus water so that it is prevented from the pasture."

[Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.

Abu Al-Munhal's name is 'Abdur-Rahman bin Mut'im, he is from Al-Kufah, and he is oen that Habib bin Abi Thabit reports from. Abu Al-Munhal Sayyar bin Salamah is from Al-Basrah, he is the companion of Abu Barzah Al-Aslami.

Rafi' bin Khadij and Sahl bin Abi Hathmah narrated to him that the Messenger of Allah (saws) prohibited Al-Muzabanah sales, (buying) fruits with dried dates, except for those who practice Al-'Araya - for he permitted it for them - and from buying grapes with raisins, and from every fruit by its estimation.

[Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih Gharib from this route.

That the Messenger of Allah (saws) said: "Whoever grants respite to an indigent or alleviates it for him, Allah will shade him on the Day of Judgement under His Throne, a Day in which there is no shade except His shade."

[He said:] There are narrations on this topic from Abu Al-Yasar, Abu Qatadah, Hudhaifah, Abu Mas'ud, 'Ubadah, and Jabir.

[Abu 'Eisa said:] The Hadith if Abu Hurairah is a Hasan Sahih Gharib Hadith from this route.

"Prices became excessive during the time of the Messenger of Allah (saws), so they said: 'O Messenger of Allah! Set prices for us!' So he said: 'Indeed Allah is Al-Musa'ir, Al-Qabid, Al-Basir, Ar-Razzaq. And I am hopeful that I meet my Lord and none of you are seeking (recompense from) me for an injustice involving blood or wealth.'"

[Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.

I had a wife whom I loved but 'Umar (May Allah be pleased with him) disliked her. He asked me to divorce her and when I refused, 'Umar (May Allah be pleased with him) went to Messenger of Allah (PBUH) and mentioned the matter to him. Messenger of Allah (PBUH) asked me to divorce her.

[Abu Dawud and At-Tirmidhi, who classified it as Hadith Hasan Sahih].

Ibn 'Abbas told that a nomadic Arab came to God's messenger and asked, "By what means can I know that you are a prophet?" He replied, "If I call this raceme from this palm-tree it will testify that I am God's messenger." He called it and it began to come down from the palm-tree and fell beside the Prophet. He then told it to go back, and when it returned the nomadic Arab accepted Islam. Tirmidhi transmitted it, saying it is sahih.

Muslim told in his sahih that when al-Hajjaj killed `Abdallah b. az-Zubair Asma' said God's messenger had told them that Thaqif would have among them a great liar and one who would cause destruction, adding that they had seen the great liar, and that she thought the one who would cause destruction was no other than [al-Hajjaj], The complete form of the tradition will be given in Section III. Muslim.

I heard God's messenger when he mentioned the civil wars and their nearness; and when a man who was veiled by a garment passed by, he said, "On that day this man will be rightly guided." I got up and went to him and found he was `Uthman b. `Affan, then making him face the Prophet I asked if this was the man, and he replied, "Yes." Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah transmitted it, Tirmidhi saying this is a hasan sahih tradition.

‘A’isha said the Prophet asked how much was left of a sheep which they had killed, and when she told him that only its shoulder Remained, he replied, “The whole of it is left except its shoulder.”* Tirmidhi transmitted it and said it is sahih. * Meaning that what one gives to others has lasting value, as such giving is fundamentally done for God’s sake; whereas what one keeps indicates selfishness and so has only transient value.

"I heard Rafi' bin Khadij say: 'We used to perform the Maghrib at the time of the Messenger of Allah, and one of us would be able to see the places where his arrows would land when shot from his bow.'" (Sahih)Another chain with similar wording.

"I heard 'Umar say: "The Messenger of Allah (SAW), said: 'Gold for silver is usury, unless it is exchanged on the spot."' (Sahih) Abu Bakr bin Abu-Shaibah said: "I heard sufyan saying: 'Gold for silver." memorize (this).

We have been forbidden to go into excess.

Sa'd b. Abu Waqqas said he was the first Arab to shoot an arrow in God's path. (Bukhari and Muslim.)

Anas reported the Prophet as saying, "The sign of faith is love of the Ansar and the sign of hypocrisy is hatred of the Ansar." (Bukhari and Muslim.)

Ibn ‘Umar said that the Prophet used to sacrifice and slaughter at the place of prayer. Bukhari transmitted it. (Cf. Chap. 48a)

‘A’isha said the bedding on which God’s messenger slept consisted of leather stuffed with palm fibre. (Bukhari and Muslim)

Jabir said that on the day of Khaibar God’s messenger forbade the flesh of domestic asses, but permitted horseflesh. (Bukhari and Muslim.)

‘Abdallah b. Ja'far told that he saw God’s messenger eating fresh dates with cucumber. (Bukhari and Muslim.)

The Prophet gave command that we should use an invocation against the evil eye. (Bukhari and Muslim.)

Abu Huraira reported God's messenger as saying, "The sun and the moon will be folded up on the day of resurrection." Bukhari transmitted it.

Abu Musa reported God’s messenger as saying, “Feed the hungry, visit the sick and free the captive.” Bukhari transmitted it.

‘A’isha said she never saw anyone suffering severer pain than God’s messenger. (Bukhari and Muslim.)

Anas reported God’s messenger as saying, “Every Muslim who dies of plague is credited with martyrdom.” (Bukhari and Muslim.)

Abu Ayyub said that the Prophet used to wash his head when he was in the sacred state. Bukhari and Muslim.

Buraida reported God's Messenger as saying, “If anyone abandons the afternoon prayer, his deeds are of no avail.” Bukhari transmitted it.

Anas reported God's Messenger as saying, “Spitting in the mosque is a sin which is expiated by burying the spittle.” (Bukhari and Muslim.)

‘A’isha said, “When God’s Messenger grew old and was ill, he mostly prayed sitting.” (Bukhari and Muslim.)

He reported God’s Messenger as saying, “A sister’s son has blood- relationship to her family.” (Bukhari and Muslim.)

‘A’isha reported God’s Messenger as saying, “What is unlawful by reason of consanguinity is unlawful by reason of fosterage.” Bukhari transmitted it.

Two Companions of the Prophet (PBUH) left his home in a very dark night with something like lights in front of them; when they separated, each of them had one light in front of him till they arrived home.

Other narrations reported in Al-Bukhari say that the two men were Usaid bin Hudhair and 'Abbad bin Bishr (May Allah be pleased with them).

Ibn Mas'ud said that the Prophet recited "By the star”(Al-Qur’an; 53) prostrating himself when doing so, as did those who were with him with the exception of an old man of Quraish who took a handful of pebbles or dust and raised it to his forehead saying. "This is enough for me.” ‘Abdallah (i.e. Ibn Mas’ud) said that he later saw him killed as an infidel. (Bukhari and Muslim.) Bukhari added in a version that he was Umayya b. Khalaf.

"The Messenger of Allah (saws) stood, then (later) he sat". (Sahih)

There are narrations on this topic from Al-Hasan bin 'Ali, and Ibn 'Abbas.

Abu Eisa said: The Hadith of 'Ali is a Hasan Sahih Hadith, regarding which there are narrations from four of the Tabi'in narrating it from each other. This is acted upon according to some of the people of knowledge. Ash-Shafi'i said: "This is the most correct thing on this topic" This Hadith abrogates first Hadith: "Whenever you see a funeral (procession), stand up [for it]."

Ahmad said: "If he wants, he stands, and if he wants, he does not stand." His proof is that it has been reported that the Prophet (saws) stood, then sat, and this is what Ishaq bin Ibrahim said.

(Abu Eisa said:) As for the saying of 'Ali: The Prophet (saws) stood for the funeral and then sat, he means that the Prophet (saws) would stand when he saw a funeral (procession), then he did not do so later, so he would not stand when he saw the funeral (procession).

"The Messenger of Allah (saas) said to me: "Shall I not tell you of a treasure which is one of the treasures of Paradise?' I said: 'Yes, O Messenger of Allah.' He said: 'La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah (There is no power and no strength except with Allah).'" (sahih)

Allah’s Messenger ﷺ ordered me to guard the Zakat revenue of Ramaḍān. Then somebody came to me and started stealing from the provisions. I caught him and said, "I will take you to Allah’s Messenger!" Then Abu Hurayrah described the whole incident and said: That person said (to me), "Please don’t take me to Allah’s Messenger and I will tell you a few words by which Allah will benefit you. When you go to your bed, recite Āyat al-Kursī, for then there will be (with you) a guardian from Allah who will protect you all night long, and Satan will not be able to come near you till dawn." When the Prophet ﷺ heard about the incident he said (to me), "He (who came to you at night) told you the truth although he is a liar; it was a devil." Reference: Sahih al-Bukhari 5010

Sahl b. Sa‘d said, “We did not have a siesta or lunch till after the Friday prayer.” (Bukhari and Muslim.)

Ibn ‘Umar told that he saw God’s messenger wearing sandals which had no hair on them. Bukhari transmitted it.

Abu Talha reported the Prophet as saying, “The angels do not enter a house which contains a dog or pictures.” (Bukhari and Muslim.)

‘A’isha told that the Prophet never left in his house anything containing figures of a cross without destroying it. Bukhari transmitted it.
