Three-Narrator Ahadith 199
Anas ibn Mālik (may Allah be pleased with him) reported:
A man asked the Prophet ﷺ about the time of the ṣubḥ (dawn) prayer. So he ordered Bilāl (may Allah be pleased with him), who gave the adhān when dawn had broken; then he called the iqāmah and prayed. The next day he delayed until it had grown light; then he ordered him to call the iqāmah and prayed. Then he summoned the man and said, “Between these two is the [permissible] time.” Reference: Musnad Aḥmad 199
