مُسْنَدُ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ
Three-Narrator Ahadith 17
Jābir (رضي الله عنه) reported that the Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) said:
“Whoever lies about me deliberately, let him take his seat in the Hellfire.”

حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا، فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ.»

mutawātir (reported by an unbroken multitude of companions in each generation); isnād meets the conditions of Muslim (al-Arnaʾūṭ, no. 14255).
Isnād and Rijāl: Imām Aḥmad ← Hushaym ibn Bashīr ← Abū al-Zubayr ← Jābir ibn ʿAbdillāh (same chain as Ḥadīth 16). Hushaym ibn Bashīr: thiqah ḥāfiẓ. Abū al-Zubayr: ṣadūq. Jābir ibn ʿAbdillāh: Companion. Takhrīj: al-Bukhārī, nos. 110, 1291, 3461 (and many others); Muslim, Introduction; Abū Dāwūd, no. 3651; al-Tirmidhī, no. 2659; Ibn Mājah, no. 30.
