مُسْنَدُ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ خَادِمِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ
Three-Narrator Ahadith 122
Anas ibn Mālik (may Allah be pleased with him) reported:
Ḥumayd said: Anas ibn Mālik was asked about the earnings of a cupper (ḥajjām). He replied: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had cupping done, performed by Abū Ṭaybah. He ordered two ṣāʿ of barley for him, and spoke to his masters that they should reduce his [obligatory labour] levy. Then he said: “The best of the treatments you use are cupping and al-quṣṭ al-baḥrī (marine costus).”
