Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet said, "The signs of a hypocrite are three:
1. Whenever he speaks, he tells a lie.
2. Whenever he promises, he always breaks it (his promise ).
3. If you trust him, he proves to be dishonest. (If you keep something as a trust with him, he will not return it.)"

Yahya related to me from Malik from Amr ibn Yahya al-Mazini that his father once asked Abdullah ibn Zayd ibn Asim, who was the grandfather of Amr ibn Yahya al-Mazini and one of the companions of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, if he could show him how the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, did wudu. Abdullah ibn Zayd ibn Asim agreed to do so and asked for water to do wudu. He poured some out on to his hand and washed each hand twice and then rinsed his mouth and snuffed water up his nose and blew it out three times. Then he washed hisface three times and both of his arms up to the elbows twice. He then wiped his head with both hands, taking his hands from hisforehead to the nape of his neck and then bringing them back to where he had begun. Then he washed his feet.

Isnād and Rijāl: Imām Aḥmad ← Sufyān ibn ʿUyayna ← ʿAmr ibn Dīnār ← Jābir ibn ʿAbdillāh (same chain as Ḥadīth 31). Sufyān ibn ʿUyayna: thiqah ḥāfiẓ faqīh imām. ʿAmr ibn Dīnār: thiqah ḥāfiẓ. Jābir ibn ʿAbdillāh: Companion. Takhrīj: al-Bukhārī, nos. 700, 705, 6106; Muslim, no. 465; Abū Dāwūd, no. 790; al-Nasāʾī, no. 827. The word fattān means one who subjects others to fitna, i.e., trial, hardship, or the risk of falling away from religion. The Prophet (ﷺ) said this twice, emphasizing its gravity. This ḥadīth is foundational for the jurisprudence of congregational prayer: the imām must calibrate the length of recitation to the congregation’s capacity; Sūrat al-Baqarah is the longest sūrah in the Qurʾān, and reciting it in its entirety in a night prayer led to undue hardship for manual laborers. The ḥadīth is used by scholars as evidence that it is obligatory (wājib) for the imām to make the prayer easy and not to exceed what worshippers can bear.

Narrated `Ali:
Fatima complained of what she suffered from the hand mill and from grinding, when she got the news that some slave girls of the booty had been brought to Allah's Apostle. She went to him to ask for a maid-servant, but she could not find him, and told `Aisha of her need. When the Prophet came, Aisha informed him of that. The Prophet came to our house when we had gone to our beds. (On seeing the Prophet) we were going to get up, but he said, 'Keep at your places,' I felt the coolness of the Prophet's feet on my chest. Then he said, "Shall I tell you a thing which is better than what you asked me for? When you go to your beds, say: 'Allahu Akbar (i.e. Allah is Greater)' for 34 times, and 'Al hamdu Li llah (i.e. all the praises are for Allah)' for 33 times, and Subhan Allah (i.e. Glorified be Allah) for 33 times. This is better for you than what you have requested."

(regarding) the explanation of "... It throws sparks as Al-Qasr ..." (V. 77:32): We used to collect logs of wood, three cubits long or longer, to store for heating purposes in winter, and we used to call it Al- Qasr, it also means a castle or a fort. "As if they were Jimalatun Sufr (yellow camels or bundles of ropes)" (V.77:33): means the ropes of a ship which are made in bundles till it become as wide as men's waists.
