Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu Hazim ibn Dinar that Sahl ibn Sad said, "People used to be ordered to place their right hands on their left forearms in the prayer."

Abu Hazim added, "I know for sure that Sahl traces that back to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace."

My father said, "I came to the Prophet and saw him carrying a Siwak in his hand and cleansing his teeth, saying, 'U' U'," as if he was retching while the Siwak was in his mouth."

Allah's Apostle said, "As for me, I pour water three times on my head." And he pointed with both his hands.

The prostration of Sa`d is not a compulsory one but I saw the Prophet prostrating while reciting it.

I heard the Prophet forbidding the offering of prayers at the time of sunrise and sunset.

The Prophet made Al-Fadl ride behind him, and Al-Fadl informed that he (the Prophet ) kept on reciting Talbiya till he did the Rami of the Jamra. (Jamrat-Al-`Aqaba.)

Allah's Apostle said, "The Prophet David used not to eat except from the earnings of his manual labor."

"The Messenger of Allah (saws) prohibited making Nabidh from unripend dates and fresh dates together.

[Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.

The Messenger of Allah (saws) would not lengthen the sermon on Friday. He would say a few words.

Abd al-Rahman b. Abu Bakr reported that the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) ordered him to mount A'isha behind him and enable her to (enter into the state of Ihram for 'Umra) at Tan'im.

Jabir b. 'Abdullah reported that Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) and his Companions did not observe Sa'i between al-Safa' and al-Marwa but only one Sa'i.

A hadith like this has been narrated on the authority of Zuhri with the same chain of transmitters but with a slight alteration.

This hadith has been narrated by Ibn Abu Najih through another chain of transmitters mentioning in it" for a specified period".

Jabir b. 'Abdullah reported that Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) stoned (to death) a person from Banu Aslam, and a Jew and his wife.

This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Ibn Umar through some other Chains of transmitters.

This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Aswad b. Qais with the same chain of transmitters.

Abu Sa'id reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) prohibited us to mix grapes and dry dates together and unripe dates and dry dates (to prepare Nabidh.

That the Messenger of Allah (saws) said: "Whoever plunders then he is not of us."

[Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih Gharib as a Hadith of Anas.

This hadith has been reported on the authority of Yahya b. Abu Kathir with the same chain of trarnmitteis.

Jabir b. Abdullah reported that Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) reprimanded that a woman should add anything to her head (in the form of artificial hair).

Anas reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) established fraternity between the Quraish and the Ansar in his house at Medina.

This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Shu'ba with the same chain of transmitters but. with a slight variation of wording.

The Prophet said, "O Unais! Go to the wife of this (man) and if she confesses (that she has committed illegal sexual intercourse), then stone her to death."

The Prophet said, "A believer to another believer is like a building whose different parts enforce each other." The Prophet then clasped his hands with the fingers interlaced (while saying that).

I heard Al Abbas telling Az-Zubair, "The Prophet ordered you to fix the flag here."

The Prophet said, "One of the sayings of the prophets which the people have got, is. 'If you do not feel ashamed, then do whatever you like."

Allah's Apostle said, "The Day of (Judgment) will not be established till there is a war between two groups whose claims (or religion) will be the same."

When Negus died, the Prophet said, "Today a pious man has died. So get up and offer the funeral prayer for your brother Ashama."

Abu dawud said: No one except Ma’mar has narrated the words “that I have come out”. And the version transmitted by Ibn ‘Uyainah from Ma’mar does not mention the words “that I have come out”.

Abu Dawud said: Malik said: This is a false (tradition).

Abu Dawud said: Ibn-Zubair made two prostrations before giving the salutation in a similar way when he stood up at the end of two rak’ahs. This is the opinion of al-Zuhrl.

This hadith has also been transmitted on the authority of Sa'd b. Ibrahim with this chain of narrators.

Hisham narrated it from his father, who narrated it on the authority of 'A'isha that when the Apostle (may peace be upon him) took a bath because of sexual inter-course, he first washed the palms of his hands three times, and then the whole hadith was transmitted like that based on the authority of Abu Mu'awyia, but no mention is made of the washing of feet.

The Prophet (saws) said: Islam does not allow for failure to perform the hajj.

Harb ibn Ubaydullah told on the authority of his grandfather, his mother's father, that he had it on the authority of his father that the Messenger of Allah (saws) said: Tithes are to be levied on Jews and Christians, but not on Muslims.

Hakim asked (the Prophet): Messenger of Allah, a man comes to me and wants me to sell him something which is not in my possession. Should I buy it for him from the market? He replied: Do not sell what you do not possess.

The Prophet (saws) said: It is not permissible for a woman to present a gift (from her husband's property) except with the permission of her husband.

No clothing was dearer to be Messenger of Allah (saws) than shirt.

The Prophet (saws) said: He who copies any people is one of them.

The Prophet (saws) said: Cutting of hand is not to be inflicted on one who plunders, but he who plunders conspicuously does not belong to us.
