Sunan an-Nasa'i 3695
It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin 'Abbas that the Messenger of Allah said:
"The likeness of the one who takes back his gift is that of a dog which vomits, then goes back to its vomit." (One of the narrators) Al-Awza'i said: "I heard him narrating this Hadith to 'Ata bin Abi Rabah."
أَخْبَرَنَا الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ مَرْوَانَ بْنِ الْهَيْثَمِ بْنِ عِمْرَانَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ بَكَّارِ بْنِ بِلاَلٍ - قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنِ الأَوْزَاعِيِّ، أَنَّ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ، حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " مَثَلُ الَّذِي يَرْجِعُ فِي صَدَقَتِهِ كَمَثَلِ الْكَلْبِ يَقِيءُ ثُمَّ يَعُودُ فِي قَيْئِهِ " . قَالَ الأَوْزَاعِيُّ سَمِعْتُهُ يُحَدِّثُ عَطَاءَ بْنَ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ .

Sahih Muslim 144 a
It is narrated on the authority of Hudhaifa:
We were sitting in the company of Umar and he said: Who amongst you has heard the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) talking about the turmoil? Some people said: It is we who heard it. Upon this be remarked: Perhaps by turmoil you presume the unrest of man in regard to his household or neighbour, they replied: Yes. He ('Umar) observed: Such (an unrest) would be done away with by prayer, fasting and charity. But who amongst you has heard from the Apostle (may peace be upon him) describing that turmoil which would come like the wave of the ocean. Hudhaifa said: The people hushed into silence, I replied: It is I. He ('Umar) said: Ye, well, your father was also very pious. Hudhaifa said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (may peace be, upon him ) observing: Temptations will be presented to men's hearts as reed mat is woven stick by stick and any heart which is impregnated by them will have a black mark put into it, but any heart which rejects them will have a white mark put in it. The result is that there will become two types of hearts: one white like a white stone which will not be harmed by any turmoil or temptation, so long as the heavens and the earth endure; and the other black and dust-coloured like a vessel which is upset, not recognizing what is good or rejecting what is abominable, but being impregnated with passion. Hudhaifa said: I narrated to him ('Umar): There is between you and that (turmoil) a closed door, but there is every likelihood of its being broken. 'Umar said: Would it be broken? You have, been rendered fatherless. Had it been opened, it would have been perhaps closed also. I said: No, it would be broken, and I narrated to him: Verily that door implies a person who would be killed or die. There is no mistake in this hadith. Abu Khalid narrated: I said to Sa'd, O Abu Malik, what do you mean by the term" Aswad Murbadda"? He replied: High degree of whiteness in blackness. I said: What is meant by" Alkoozu Mujakhiyyan"? He replied: A vessel turned upside down.
وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَالِدٍ، - يَعْنِي سُلَيْمَانَ بْنَ حَيَّانَ - عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ طَارِقٍ، عَنْ رِبْعِيٍّ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ، قَالَ كُنَّا عِنْدَ عُمَرَ فَقَالَ أَيُّكُمْ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَذْكُرُ الْفِتَنَ فَقَالَ قَوْمٌ نَحْنُ سَمِعْنَاهُ . فَقَالَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْنُونَ فِتْنَةَ الرَّجُلِ فِي أَهْلِهِ وَجَارِهِ قَالُوا أَجَلْ . قَالَ تِلْكَ تُكَفِّرُهَا الصَّلاَةُ وَالصِّيَامُ وَالصَّدَقَةُ وَلَكِنْ أَيُّكُمْ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَذْكُرُ الْفِتَنَ الَّتِي تَمُوجُ مَوْجَ الْبَحْرِ قَالَ حُذَيْفَةُ فَأَسْكَتَ الْقَوْمُ فَقُلْتُ أَنَا . قَالَ أَنْتَ لِلَّهِ أَبُوكَ . قَالَ حُذَيْفَةُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " تُعْرَضُ الْفِتَنُ عَلَى الْقُلُوبِ كَالْحَصِيرِ عُودًا عُودًا فَأَىُّ قَلْبٍ أُشْرِبَهَا نُكِتَ فِيهِ نُكْتَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ وَأَىُّ قَلْبٍ أَنْكَرَهَا نُكِتَ فِيهِ نُكْتَةٌ بَيْضَاءُ حَتَّى تَصِيرَ عَلَى قَلْبَيْنِ عَلَى أَبْيَضَ مِثْلِ الصَّفَا فَلاَ تَضُرُّهُ فِتْنَةٌ مَا دَامَتِ السَّمَوَاتُ وَالأَرْضُ وَالآخَرُ أَسْوَدُ ...

Sunan an-Nasa'i 713
It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin 'Abbas that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) performed Tawaf during the Farewell Pilgrimage atop a camel, touching the Rukn [1] with a stick that was bent at the top.
[1] The corner of the Ka'bah in which the Black Stone is situated.
أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ، عَنِ ابْنِ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم طَافَ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ عَلَى بَعِيرٍ يَسْتَلِمُ الرُّكْنَ بِمِحْجَنٍ .

Sunan Ibn Majah 3207
It was
narrated that Abu Tha’labah Al-Khushani said:
“I came to the
Messenger of Allah (saw) and said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, we live
in a
land of the People of the Book and we eat from their vessels.
And we
live in a land (where there is) game, so I hunt with my bow
and with
my trained dog and with my untrained dog.’ The Messenger
of Allah
(saw) said: ‘As for what you say about living in a land of
the People
of the Book, do not eat from their vessels unless you can
find no
alternative. If you can fidn no alternative then wash them
and eat
from them. With regard to what you say about hunting,
whatever you
catch with your bow, say the Name of Allah over it and
eat. Whatever
you catch with your trained dog, say the Name of Allah
over it and
eat. But whatever you catch with your untrained dog, then
catch it,
slaughter it, then eat.’”

Sunan Abi Dawud 897
Anas reported the Messenger of Allah(may peace be upon him) as saying; Adopt a moderate position when prostrating yourselves, and see that none of you stretches out his forearms(on the ground) like a dog.

Sunan Abi Dawud 382
Ibn 'Umar said:
I used to sleep in the mosque in the lifetime of the Messenger of Allah (saws) when I was young and bachelor. The dogs would urinate frequently visit the mosque, and no one would sprinkle over it.

Sunan Ibn Majah 3651
It was
narrated that ‘Aishah said:
“Jibril (as) promised the
Messenger
of Allah (saw) that he would come to him at a certain hour,
but he
was late. The Prophet (saw) went out and there was Jibril
standing at
the door. He said: ‘What kept you from entering?’ He said:
‘There
is a dog in the house, and we do not enter a house in which
there is
a dog or an image.’”
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ وَاعَدَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ فِي سَاعَةٍ يَأْتِيهِ فِيهَا فَرَاثَ عَلَيْهِ فَخَرَجَ النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَإِذَا هُوَ بِجِبْرِيلَ قَائِمٌ عَلَى الْبَابِ فَقَالَ " مَا مَنَعَكَ أَنْ تَدْخُلَ " . قَالَ إِنَّ فِي الْبَيْتِ كَلْبًا وَإِنَّا لاَ نَدْخُلُ بَيْتًا فِيهِ كَلْبٌ وَلاَ صُورَةٌ .

Narrated Anas ibn Malik:
The Prophet (saws) forbade the sale of grapes till they became black and the sale of grain till it had become hard.

Abu Mas'ud Al-Ansari narrated:
"The Messenger of Allah prohibited the price of a dog, the dowry of a fornicator, and the payment made to the fortune-teller."
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ الأَنْصَارِيِّ، قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنْ ثَمَنِ الْكَلْبِ وَمَهْرِ الْبَغِيِّ وَحُلْوَانِ الْكَاهِنِ . قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ وَأَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .

Sunan an-Nasa'i 4401
It was narrated that 'Adiyy bin Hatim said:
"I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I release my dog and I catch the game, but I cannot find anything to slaughter it with, so I slaughter it with a Marwah or a stick,; He said: 'Shed the blood with whatever you wish, and say the name of Allah."'

Sunan an-Nasa'i 753
It was narrated that Al-Fadl bin 'Abbas said:
"The Messenger of Allah(saws)visited Al Abbas in some land of ours outside the city, and we had a small dog and a donkey which was grazing. The Messenger of Allah(saws) prayed Asr and they
were in front of him, and they were
not shooed away or pushed away."
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، قَالَ قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ عَبَّاسِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ، قَالَ زَارَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَبَّاسًا فِي بَادِيَةٍ لَنَا وَلَنَا كُلَيْبَةٌ وَحِمَارَةٌ تَرْعَى فَصَلَّى النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم الْعَصْرَ وَهُمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ فَلَمْ يُزْجَرَا وَلَمْ يُؤَخَّرَا .

Sunan an-Nasa'i 215
It was narrated from Fatimah bint Abi Hubaish that she suffered from Istihadah and the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said to her:
"If it is menstrual blood then it is blood that is black and recognizable, so stop praying, and if it is other than that then perform Wudu', for it is just a vein."
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ وَقَّاصٍ - عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ أَبِي حُبَيْشٍ، أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ تُسْتَحَاضُ فَقَالَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِذَا كَانَ دَمُ الْحَيْضِ - فَإِنَّهُ دَمٌ أَسْوَدُ يُعْرَفُ - فَأَمْسِكِي عَنِ الصَّلاَةِ فَإِذَا كَانَ الآخَرُ فَتَوَضَّئِي فَإِنَّمَا هُوَ عِرْقٌ " .

Sahih al-Bukhari 1714
Narrated Anas:
The Prophet offered four rak`at of Zuhr prayer at Medina; and two rak`at of `Asr prayer at Dhil- Hulaifa and spent the night there and when (the day) dawned, he mounted his Mount and started saying, "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah, and Glorified be Allah." When he reached Al- Baida' he recited Talbiya for both Hajj and `Umra. And when he arrived at Mecca, he ordered them (his companions) to finish their Ihram. The Prophet slaughtered seven Budn (camel) with his own hands while the camels were standing He also sacrificed two horned rams (black and white in color) at Medina.
حَدَّثَنَا سَهْلُ بْنُ بَكَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلاَبَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ صَلَّى النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم الظُّهْرَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ أَرْبَعًا، وَالْعَصْرَ بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، فَبَاتَ بِهَا، فَلَمَّا أَصْبَحَ رَكِبَ رَاحِلَتَهُ، فَجَعَلَ يُهَلِّلُ وَيُسَبِّحُ، فَلَمَّا عَلاَ عَلَى الْبَيْدَاءِ لَبَّى بِهِمَا جَمِيعًا، فَلَمَّا دَخَلَ مَكَّةَ أَمَرَهُمْ أَنْ يَحِلُّوا. وَنَحَرَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِيَدِهِ سَبْعَ بُدْنٍ قِيَامًا، وَضَحَّى بِالْمَدِينَةِ كَبْشَيْنِ أَمْلَحَيْنِ أَقْرَنَيْنِ.

Narrated Um Khalid bint Khalid:
The Prophet was given some clothes including a black Khamisa. The Prophet said, "To whom shall we give this to wear?" The people kept silent whereupon the Prophet said, "Fetch Um Khalid for me." I (Um Khalid) was brought carried (as I was small girl at that time). The Prophet took the Khamisa in his hands and made me wear it and said, "May you live so long that your dress will wear out and you will mend it many times." On the Khamisa there were some green or pale designs (The Prophet saw these designs) and said, "O Um Khalid! This is Sanah." (Sanah in a Ethiopian word meaning beautiful).
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، سَعِيدِ بْنِ فُلاَنٍ ـ هُوَ عَمْرُو بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْعَاصِ ـ عَنْ أُمِّ خَالِدٍ بِنْتِ خَالِدٍ، أُتِيَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِثِيَابٍ فِيهَا خَمِيصَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ صَغِيرَةٌ فَقَالَ " مَنْ تَرَوْنَ نَكْسُو هَذِهِ ". فَسَكَتَ الْقَوْمُ قَالَ " ائْتُونِي بِأُمِّ خَالِدٍ ". فَأُتِيَ بِهَا تُحْمَلُ فَأَخَذَ الْخَمِيصَةَ بِيَدِهِ فَأَلْبَسَهَا وَقَالَ " أَبْلِي وَأَخْلِقِي ". وَكَانَ فِيهَا عَلَمٌ أَخْضَرُ أَوْ أَصْفَرُ فَقَالَ " يَا أُمَّ خَالِدٍ هَذَا سَنَاهْ ". وَسَنَاهْ بِالْحَبَشِيَّةِ حَسَنٌ.

the Messenger of Allah said: "Five are Fawasiq which may be killed in the Haram: the mouse, the scorpion, the crow, the kite, and the barbed dog."

The Prophet said: "The Muhrim may kill the wild beast of prey, the rabid dog, the mouse, the scorpion, the kite, and the crow."

Sahih Muslim 1488 c
Zainab bint Umm Salama (Allah be pleased with her) reported on the authority of her mother that a woman lost her husband. (As her eyes were ailing) they (her kith and kin) entertained fear about her eyes, so they came to Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) and sought permission for the use of collyrium, whereupon Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said:
One among you used to spend one year in a dungeon dressed in worst clothes. (And at the end of this period) she threw dung at the dog which happened to pass that way and then she came out (of her 'Idda). Can't she (wait) even for four months and ten days?
وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ نَافِعٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتَ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، تُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أُمِّهَا، أَنَّ امْرَأَةً، تُوُفِّيَ زَوْجُهَا فَخَافُوا عَلَى عَيْنِهَا فَأَتَوُا النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَاسْتَأْذَنُوهُ فِي الْكُحْلِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " قَدْ كَانَتْ إِحْدَاكُنَّ تَكُونُ فِي شَرِّ بَيْتِهَا فِي أَحْلاَسِهَا - أَوْ فِي شَرِّ أَحْلاَسِهَا فِي بَيْتِهَا - حَوْلاً فَإِذَا مَرَّ كَلْبٌ رَمَتْ بِبَعَرَةٍ فَخَرَجَتْ أَفَلاَ أَرْبَعَةَ أَشْهُرٍ وَعَشْرًا " .

Mishkat al-Masabih 4513
Abu Huraira told that God's messenger used to come to the house of some of the Ansar, but that near it was a house which he never visited. That distressed the people, so they said, “Messenger of God, you visit so and so’s house, but you never visit ours.” The Prophet replied, “It is because there is a dog in your house. ” They said, “There is a cat in their house,” and he replied, “A cat is a beast of prey.” (The explanation given is that a cat uses its fangs to kill its prey and is not unclean whereas the dog eats filth and is considered unclean.)
Daraqutni transmitted it.
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْتِي دَارَ قَوْمٍ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ وَدُونَهُمْ دَارٌ فَشَقَّ ذَلِكَ عَلَيْهِمْ فَقَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ تَأْتِي دَارَ فُلَانٍ وَلَا تَأْتِي دَارَنَا. فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لِأَنَّ فِي دَارِكُمْ كَلْبًا» . قَالُوا: إِنَّ فِي دَارِهِمْ سِنَّوْرًا فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «السِّنَّوْرُ سَبْعٌ» . رَوَاهُ الدَّارَقُطْنِيُّ

'Aishah (May Allah be pleased with her) said:
Jibril (Gabriel) (PBUH) made a promise with the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) to come at a definite hour; that hour came but he did not visit him. There was a staff in the hand of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH). He threw it from his hand and said, "Never does Allah back out of His Promise, nor do His messengers." Then he noticed a puppy under his bed and said, "O 'Aishah, when did this dog enter?" She said: "By Allah, I don't know." He then commanded that it should be turned out. No sooner than had they expelled it, Jibril came and the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said to him, "You promised to visit me. I waited for you but you did not come." Whereupon he said: "The dog kept me from coming. We do not enter a house in which there is a dog or a picture."

وعن عائشة رضي الله عنها قالت: واعد رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم جبريل عليه السلام في ساعة أن يأتيه، فجاءت تلك الساعة ولم يأته! قالت: وكان بيده عصًا، فطرحها من يده وهو يقول: "ما يخلف الله وعده ولا رسله" ثم التفت، فإذا جرو كلب تحت سريره. فقال: "متى دخل هذا الكلب؟" فقلت: والله ما دريت به، فأمر به فأخرج، فجاءه جبريل عليه السلام: فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : "وعدتني، فجلست لك ولم تأتني" فقال: منعني الكلب الذي كان في بيتك، إنا لا ندخل بيتًا فيه كلب ولا صورة" ((رواه مسلم)).

It was narrated from 'Adiyy bin Hatim At-Tai that he asked the Messenger of Allah about hunting. He said:
"If you release your dog and mention the name of Allah over him, and he kills (the game), but does not eat any of it, then eat. But if he has eaten from it, then do not eat, for he caught it for himself, and not for you."

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُرِّيَّ بْنَ قَطَرِيٍّ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ، قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أُرْسِلُ كَلْبِي فَيَأْخُذُ الصَّيْدَ وَلاَ أَجِدُ مَا أُذَكِّيهِ بِهِ فَأُذَكِّيهِ بِالْمَرْوَةِ وَالْعَصَا . قَالَ " أَهْرِقِ الدَّمَ بِمَا شِئْتَ وَاذْكُرِ اسْمَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ " .

Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas:
The Prophet (saws) said: At the end of time there will be people who will use this black dye like the crops of doves who will not experience the fragrance of Paradise.

The Prophet (saws) sacrificed seven camels standing with his own hand, and sacrificed at Medina two horned rams which were white with black markings.

narrated from Abu Qatadah Al-Ansari that the Messenger of

said:
“The best of horses are those that are deep black,
with a
blaze on the forehead, white marks on the legs and white nose
and
upper lip, and with no whiteness on the right foreleg. If not
deep-black, then reddish-brown, with these markings.”

Hell-Fire was kindled for one thousand years and turned white. Then

was kindled for another thousand years and it turned red. Then it

kindled for another thousand years and it turned black. So it is
black
like the darkest night.”

Abu Hurairah reported the Prophet(may peace be upon him) as saying:
when one of you prostrates himself, he should not stretch out his forearms( on the ground) like a dog and he should join both of his thighs.

Sunan Abi Dawud 1899
Amr b. Shu'aib reported on the authority of his father:
I went round the Ka'bah along with Abdullah ibn Amr. When we came behind the Ka'bah I asked: Do you not seek refuge? He uttered the words: I seek refuge in Allah from the Hell-fire. He then went (farther) and touched the Black Stone, and stood between the corner (Black Stone) and the entrance of the Ka'bah. He then placed his breast, his face, his hands and his palms in this manner, and he spread them, and said: I saw the apostle of Allah (saws) doing like this.
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُثَنَّى بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ طُفْتُ مَعَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ فَلَمَّا جِئْنَا دُبَرَ الْكَعْبَةِ قُلْتُ أَلاَ تَتَعَوَّذُ . قَالَ نَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ النَّارِ . ثُمَّ مَضَى حَتَّى اسْتَلَمَ الْحَجَرَ وَأَقَامَ بَيْنَ الرُّكْنِ وَالْبَابِ فَوَضَعَ صَدْرَهُ وَوَجْهَهُ وَذِرَاعَيْهِ وَكَفَّيْهِ هَكَذَا وَبَسَطَهُمَا بَسْطًا ثُمَّ قَالَ هَكَذَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَفْعَلُهُ .

(i.e., the
Yemenite Corner).”

Narrated 'Adi bin Hatim:
"I said: 'O Messenger of Allah! We send our trained dogs to catch game for us.' He said: 'Eat what it catches for you.' I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, and if they kill it?' He said: 'Even if they kill it, as long as they are not accompanied by some other dogs besides them.'" He said: "I said: 'O Messenger of Allah! We hunt with the Mir'ad.' He said: 'Eat of the game what the Mir'ad pierces, but whatever is struck by its broad side, then do not eat it.'"
حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ، حَدَّثَنَا قَبِيصَةُ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ، قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّا نُرْسِلُ كِلاَبًا لَنَا مُعَلَّمَةً . قَالَ " كُلْ مَا أَمْسَكْنَ عَلَيْكَ " . قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَإِنْ قَتَلْنَ قَالَ " وَإِنْ قَتَلْنَ مَا لَمْ يَشْرَكْهَا كَلْبٌ غَيْرُهَا " . قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّا نَرْمِي بِالْمِعْرَاضِ . قَالَ " مَا خَزَقَ فَكُلْ وَمَا أَصَابَ بِعَرْضِهِ فَلاَ تَأْكُلْ " .

Riyad as-Salihin 1689
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) said:
The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "He who keeps a dog, will lose out of his good deeds equal to one Qirat every day, except one who keeps it for guarding the fields or the herd."

In a narration of Muslim, the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) is reported to have said: "He who keeps a dog for any reason other than to guard his property (lands) or his flock of sheep, his good deeds equal to two Qirat will be deducted every day."

وفي رواية لمسلم: "من اقتنى كلبًا ليس بكلب صيد، ولا ماشية ولا أرض، فإنه ينقص من أجره قيراطان كل يوم".

Sunan Abi Dawud 1876
Ibn ‘Umar said The Apostle of Allaah(saws) did not give up touching the Yamani corner and the (Black) Stone in each of his circumambulations. Ibn ‘Umar used to do so.

Mishkat al-Masabih 3877
Abu Qatada reported the Prophet as saying, “The best type of horse is the black one with a blaze on its face and a white spot on its upper lip* next comes the horse with a blaze on its face and white on the legs, except on a right one. If it is not black, then a dark bay horse with those markings.”
* Artham. This may mean either that it has a white spot on its upper lip, or on the point of its nose.
Tirmidhi and Darimi transmitted it.

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar and Ibn 'Abbas, who attributed the Hadith to the Prophet:
"It is not permissible for a man to give a gift and then take it back except a father taking back what he gave to his son. The likeness of the one who gives a gift then takes it back is that of the dog which eats until it is full, then it vomits, and goes back to its vomit."
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ، عَنْ حُسَيْنٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي طَاوُسٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، وَابْنِ، عَبَّاسٍ يَرْفَعَانِ الْحَدِيثَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " لاَ يَحِلُّ لِرَجُلٍ يُعْطِي عَطِيَّةً ثُمَّ يَرْجِعُ فِيهَا إِلاَّ الْوَالِدَ فِيمَا يُعْطِي وَلَدَهُ وَمَثَلُ الَّذِي يُعْطِي عَطِيَّةً ثُمَّ يَرْجِعُ فِيهَا كَمَثَلِ الْكَلْبِ أَكَلَ حَتَّى إِذَا شَبِعَ قَاءَ ثُمَّ عَادَ فِي قَيْئِهِ " .

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:
"The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: 'If a dog licks the vessel of any one of you, let him throw (the contents) away and wash it seven times.'"
Abu 'Abdur-Rahman (An-Nasa'i) said: I do not know any one who followed 'Ali bin Mushir in narrating it with: "Let him throw it away."
أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي رَزِينٍ، وَأَبِي، صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِذَا وَلَغَ الْكَلْبُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيُرِقْهُ ثُمَّ لْيَغْسِلْهُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ " . قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ لاَ أَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا تَابَعَ عَلِيَّ بْنَ مُسْهِرٍ عَلَى قَوْلِهِ فَلْيُرِقْهُ .

Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet said, "The first man to be called on the Day of Resurrection will be Adam who will be shown his offspring, and it will be said to them, 'This is your father, Adam.' Adam will say (responding to the call), 'Labbaik and Sa`daik' Then Allah will say (to Adam), 'Take out of your offspring, the people of Hell.' Adam will say, 'O Lord, how many should I take out?' Allah will say, 'Take out ninety-nine out of every hundred." They (the Prophet's companions) said, "O Allah's Apostle! If ninety-nine out of every one hundred of us are taken away, what will remain out of us?" He said, "My followers in comparison to the other nations are like a white hair on a black ox."
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، حَدَّثَنِي أَخِي، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ ثَوْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْغَيْثِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " أَوَّلُ مَنْ يُدْعَى يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ آدَمُ، فَتَرَاءَى ذُرِّيَّتُهُ فَيُقَالُ هَذَا أَبُوكُمْ آدَمُ. فَيَقُولُ لَبَّيْكَ وَسَعْدَيْكَ. فَيَقُولُ أَخْرِجْ بَعْثَ جَهَنَّمَ مِنْ ذُرِّيَّتِكَ. فَيَقُولُ يَا رَبِّ كَمْ أُخْرِجُ فَيَقُولُ أَخْرِجْ مِنْ كُلِّ مِائَةٍ تِسْعَةً وَتِسْعِينَ ". فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِذَا أُخِذَ مِنَّا مِنْ كُلِّ مِائَةٍ تِسْعَةٌ وَتِسْعُونَ، فَمَاذَا يَبْقَى مِنَّا قَالَ " إِنَّ أُمَّتِي فِي الأُمَمِ كَالشَّعَرَةِ الْبَيْضَاءِ فِي الثَّوْرِ الأَسْوَدِ ".

Sahih al-Bukhari 7314
Narrated Abu Huraira:
A bedouin came to Allah's Apostle and said, "My wife has delivered a black boy, and I suspect that he is not my child." Allah's Apostle said to him, "Have you got camels?" The bedouin said, "Yes." The Prophet said, "What color are they?" The bedouin said, "They are red." The Prophet said, "Are any of them Grey?" He said, "There are Grey ones among them." The Prophet said, "Whence do you think this color came to them?" The bedouin said, "O Allah's Apostle! It resulted from hereditary disposition." The Prophet said, "And this (i.e., your child) has inherited his color from his ancestors." The Prophet did not allow him to deny his paternity of the child.
حَدَّثَنَا أَصْبَغُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ أَعْرَابِيًّا، أَتَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ إِنَّ امْرَأَتِي وَلَدَتْ غُلاَمًا أَسْوَدَ، وَإِنِّي أَنْكَرْتُهُ. فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " هَلْ لَكَ مِنْ إِبِلٍ ". قَالَ نَعَمْ. قَالَ " فَمَا أَلْوَانُهَا ". قَالَ حُمْرٌ. قَالَ " هَلْ فِيهَا مِنْ أَوْرَقَ ". قَالَ إِنَّ فِيهَا لَوُرْقًا. قَالَ " فَأَنَّى تُرَى ذَلِكَ جَاءَهَا ". قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ عِرْقٌ نَزَعَهَا. قَالَ " وَلَعَلَّ هَذَا عِرْقٌ نَزَعَهُ ". وَلَمْ يُرَخِّصْ لَهُ فِي الاِنْتِفَاءِ مِنْهُ.
