Sahih Muslim 490 d
Ibn Abbas reported that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said:
I have been commanded to prostrate myself on seven bones:" forehead," and then pointed with his hand towards his nose, hands, feet, and the extremities of the feet; and we were forbidden to fold back clothing and hair.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَسْجُدَ عَلَى سَبْعَةِ أَعْظُمٍ الْجَبْهَةِ - وَأَشَارَ بِيَدِهِ عَلَى أَنْفِهِ - وَالْيَدَيْنِ وَالرِّجْلَيْنِ وَأَطْرَافِ الْقَدَمَيْنِ وَلاَ نَكْفِتَ الثِّيَابَ وَلاَ الشَّعْرَ " .

Umm 'Atiyya reported that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said to them (the women) in regard to the washing of his daughter to start from the right side and with those parts of the body over which Wudu' is performed.

Abdullah b. Umar reported that as Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) was sitting on the pulpit and talking about Sadaqa and abstention from begging, he said:
The upper hand is better than the lower one, the upper being the one which bestows and the lower one which begs.
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، فِيمَا قُرِئَ عَلَيْهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ، اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ وَهُوَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ وَهُوَ يَذْكُرُ الصَّدَقَةَ وَالتَّعَفُّفَ عَنِ الْمَسْأَلَةِ
" الْيَدُ الْعُلْيَا خَيْرٌ مِنَ الْيَدِ السُّفْلَى وَالْيَدُ الْعُلْيَا الْمُنْفِقَةُ وَالسُّفْلَى السَّائِلَةُ " .

'A'isha reported:
Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) used to kiss me while observing fast; and who among you can control his desire as the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) could control his desire.

It was narrated that 'Abdullah said:
"The Messenger of Allah said to me: 'The sign that you have been permitted to come in is that you raise the curtain and that you hear me speaking quietly, until I forbid you.' (i.e. unless I forbid you)."

Sunan Ibn Majah 3844
It was narrated from 'Umar that the :
Prophet saas used to seek refuge with Allah from cowardice, miserliness, old age, the torment of the grave and the tribulation of the heart. (Da'if)(One of the narrators) Waki' said: "Meaning when a man dies in a state of tribulation (Fitnah) and does not ask Allah to forgive him."
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ، عَنْ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ كَانَ يَتَعَوَّذُ مِنَ الْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ وَأَرْذَلِ الْعُمُرِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَفِتْنَةِ الصَّدْرِ . قَالَ وَكِيعٌ يَعْنِي الرَّجُلَ يَمُوتُ عَلَى فِتْنَةٍ لاَ يَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ مِنْهَا .

It was narrated that Ibn `Umar said:
"We used to count that the Messenger of Allah (saws) said one hundred times in a gathering: 'Rabbighfirli wa tub `alayya innaka Antat-Tawwabur-Rahim (O Allah forgive me and accept my repentance, for You are the Accepter of repentance, the Most Merciful).'"

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that :
the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: 'Two words which are light on the tongue and heavy in the Balance, and beloved to the Most Merciful: Subhan-Allah wa bi hamdihi, Subhan-Allahil-'Azim (Glory and praise is to Allah, glory is to Allah the Almighty)."

"The Messenger of Allah (SAW) forbade haggling before sunrise, and (he forbade) slaughtering animals that yield milk."

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said:
“Whoever takes the wrongdoer's side in a dispute or supports wrongdoing, he will remain subject to the wrath of Allah until he gives it up.”
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ ثَعْلَبَةَ بْنِ سَوَاءٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عَمِّي، مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَوَاءٍ عَنْ حُسَيْنٍ الْمُعَلِّمِ، عَنْ مَطَرٍ الْوَرَّاقِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" مَنْ أَعَانَ عَلَى خُصُومَةٍ بِظُلْمٍ - أَوْ يُعِينُ عَلَى ظُلْمٍ - لَمْ يَزَلْ فِي سَخَطِ اللَّهِ حَتَّى يَنْزِعَ " .

It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said:
“Whoever swears a false oath in order to seize the wealth of a Muslim unlawfully, he will meet Allah when He is angry with him.”

" مَنْ حَلَفَ عَلَى يَمِينٍ وَهُوَ فِيهَا فَاجِرٌ يَقْتَطِعُ بِهَا مَالَ امْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ لَقِيَ اللَّهَ وَهُوَ عَلَيْهِ غَضْبَانُ " .

It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin Buraidah that his father said:
“A woman came to-the Prophet (SAW) and said: 'O Messenger of Allah (SAW), I gave my mother a slave girl of mine, and she has died.' The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: 'Allah (SWT) has rewarded you, and returned to you your inheritance (without your seeking that.' ”
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ جَاءَتِ امْرَأَةٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي تَصَدَّقْتُ عَلَى أُمِّي بِجَارِيَةٍ وَإِنَّهَا مَاتَتْ . فَقَالَ
" آجَرَكِ اللَّهُ وَرَدَّ عَلَيْكِ الْمِيرَاثَ " .

Sunan Ibn Majah 2555
It was narrated from `Imran bin Husain that :
a woman came to the Prophet (SAW) and confessed to committing fornication. He issued orders, and her garments were tightened around her (so that her private parts would not become uncovered) then he stoned her, then he offered the funeral prayer for her.
حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَمْرٍو، حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلاَبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُهَاجِرِ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ الْحُصَيْنِ، أَنَّ امْرَأَةً، أَتَتِ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَاعْتَرَفَتْ بِالزِّنَا فَأَمَرَ بِهَا فَشُكَّتْ عَلَيْهَا ثِيَابُهَا ثُمَّ رَجَمَهَا ثُمَّ صَلَّى عَلَيْهَا .

It was narrated that Abu Uthman Nahdi said:
“I heard Sa'd and Abu Bakrah both say that they heard directly from Muhammad (SAW) saying it and memorized: 'Whoever claims to belong to someone other than his father knowing the he is not his father, Paradise will be forbidden to him.”
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الأَحْوَلِ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيِّ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سَعْدًا، وَأَبَا، بَكْرَةَ وَكُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا يَقُولُ سَمِعَتْ أُذُنَاىَ، وَوَعَى، قَلْبِي مُحَمَّدًا صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ
" مَنِ ادَّعَى إِلَى غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ وَهُوَ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُ غَيْرُ أَبِيهِ فَالْجَنَّةُ عَلَيْهِ حَرَامٌ " .

Sunan Ibn Majah 3444
It was
narrated from ‘Uqbah bin ‘Amir Al-Juhani that the Messenger of
Allah (saw) said:
“Do not force your sick ones to eat or drink.
Allah
will feed them and give them to drink.”

" لاَ تُكْرِهُوا مَرْضَاكُمْ عَلَى الطَّعَامِ وَالشَّرَابِ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يُطْعِمُهُمْ وَيَسْقِيهِمْ " .

narrated that ‘Uqbah bin ‘Amir Al-Juhani said:
“I heard the
Messenger of Allah (saw) reciting on the pulpit: ‘And make ready
against them all you can of power.’[8:60] (And saying that) three
times – ‘Power means shooting.”
حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى، أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ أَبِي عَلِيٍّ الْهَمْدَانِيِّ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيَّ، يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقْرَأُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ " {وَأَعِدُّوا لَهُمْ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ مِنْ قُوَّةٍ} أَلاَ وَإِنَّ الْقُوَّةَ الرَّمْىُ " ثَلاَثَ مَرَّاتٍ .

narrated that Qais bin Sa’d said:
“The Prophet (saw) came to

and we gave him some water with which to cool down. He bathed, then

brought him a yellow blanket, and I saw the traces of Wars (the
yellow dye) on the folds of his stomach.”

Hajj on an old saddle, wearing a cloak that was worth four

less. Then he said: ‘O Allah, a Hajj in which there is no
showing
off nor reputation sought.’”

" اللَّهُمَّ حِجَّةٌ لاَ رِيَاءَ فِيهَا وَلاَ سُمْعَةَ " .

turned to face the Stone, then he put his lips on it and wept for a
long time. Then he turned and saw ‘Umar bin Khattab weeping. He
said:
‘O ‘Umar, this is the place where tears should be shed.’”

" يَا عُمَرُ هَاهُنَا تُسْكَبُ الْعَبَرَاتُ " .

camel, touching the corner with his staff and kissing the staff.’”

“There are five animals, for which there is no sin on a person

he kills them” – or he said: “if he kills them when in Ihram –

scorpion, the crow, the kite, the mouse and the vicious dog.”

‘Abdur-Rahman bin Sa’d bin ‘Ammar bin Sad, the Mu’adh-dhin of

Prophet (saw), said:
“My father told me, narrating from his
father,
from his grandfather, that during the time of the Messenger
of Allah
(saw), he used to call the Adhan on Fridays when the shadow
was like a
sandal strap.”

It was
narrated from Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah (saw)

out and saw some people praying while sitting down. He said:
“The
prayer of one who sits down is equivalent to half of the prayer of
one
who stands.”

narrated that Ibn ‘Umar said:
“Two ‘Eid came together at the
time of the Messenger of Allah (saw), so he led the people in prayer,
then he said: ‘Whoever wishes to come to Friday (prayer), let him
come, and whoever wishes to stay behind, let him stay behind.’”

We spoke of the Dajjal in the presence of the Prophet (ﷺ) when he was sleeping. He woke up, with his face red, and said: `There is something else I fear more for you,` and he mentioned something.
أَنْبَأَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَشْجَعِيُّ، عَنْ شَيْبَانَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُجَيٍّ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ ذَكَرْنَا الدَّجَّالَ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ نَائِمٌ فَاسْتَيْقَظَ مُحْمَرًّا لَوْنُهُ فَقَالَ غَيْرُ ذَلِكَ أَخْوَفُ لِي عَلَيْكُمْ ذَكَرَ كَلِمَةً.

It was narrated that ‘Umair bin Sa`eed said:
`Ali (رضي الله عنه) said: If I carried out the Hadd punishment on a man and he died, I would not feel upset, except in the case of one who drank khamr, if (such a man) died, I would pay the diyah (to his family) because the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) did not prescribe it (did not specify a particular number of lashes).

Chosroes gave a gift to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and he accepted it from him, and Caesar gave a gift to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and he accepted it from him. The kings gave him gifts and he accepted them from them.
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، أَنْبَأَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، عَنْ ثُوَيْرِ بْنِ أَبِي فَاخِتَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ أَهْدَى كِسْرَى لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَبِلَ مِنْهُ وَأَهْدَى قَيْصَرُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَبِلَ مِنْهُ وَأَهْدَتْ الْمُلُوكُ فَقَبِلَ مِنْهُمْ.

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) sent me as a judge and said: `If two disputants come to you, do not pass judgement against one of them until you hear what the other has to say, then the right verdict will become clear to you.`

Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi from Abu Said al-Khudri that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Do not sell gold for gold except like for like and do not increase one part over another part. Do not sell silver for silver, except like for like and do not increase one part over another part. Do not sell some of it which is not there for some of it which is."
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" لاَ تَبِيعُوا الذَّهَبَ بِالذَّهَبِ إِلاَّ مِثْلاً بِمِثْلٍ وَلاَ تُشِفُّوا بَعْضَهَا عَلَى بَعْضٍ وَلاَ تَبِيعُوا الْوَرِقَ بِالْوَرِقِ إِلاَّ مِثْلاً بِمِثْلٍ وَلاَ تُشِفُّوا بَعْضَهَا عَلَى بَعْضٍ وَلاَ تَبِيعُوا مِنْهَا شَيْئًا غَائِبًا بِنَاجِزٍ " .

Narrated `Aisha:
The necklace of Asma' was lost, so the Prophet sent some men to look for it. The time for the prayer became due and they had not performed ablution and could not find water, so they offered the prayer without ablution. Then Allah revealed (the Verse of Tayammum).
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدَةُ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ قَالَتْ هَلَكَتْ قِلاَدَةٌ لأَسْمَاءَ فَبَعَثَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي طَلَبِهَا، رِجَالاً فَحَضَرَتِ الصَّلاَةُ وَلَيْسُوا عَلَى وُضُوءٍ. وَلَمْ يَجِدُوا مَاءً، فَصَلَّوْا وَهُمْ عَلَى غَيْرِ وُضُوءٍ، فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ. يَعْنِي آيَةَ التَّيَمُّمِ.

Narrated Ibn `Umar:
The Prophet decreed that one should not try to cancel a bargain already agreed upon between some other persons (by offering a bigger price). And a man should not ask for the hand of a girl who is already engaged to his Muslim brother, unless the first suitor gives her up, or allows him to ask for her hand.
حَدَّثَنَا مَكِّيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ نَافِعًا، يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ كَانَ يَقُولُ نَهَى النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنْ يَبِيعَ بَعْضُكُمْ عَلَى بَيْعِ بَعْضٍ، وَلاَ يَخْطُبَ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى خِطْبَةِ أَخِيهِ، حَتَّى يَتْرُكَ الْخَاطِبُ قَبْلَهُ، أَوْ يَأْذَنَ لَهُ الْخَاطِبُ.

Narrated Ibn `Umar:
During the lifetime of the Prophet we used to avoid chatting leisurely and freely with our wives lest some Divine inspiration might be revealed concerning us. But when the Prophet had died, we started chatting leisurely and freely (with them).

Ibn `Umar said, "By Allah, I have not put a brick over a brick (i.e. constructed a building) or planted any date-palm tree since the death of the Prophet." Sufyan (the sub narrator) said, "I told this narration (of Ibn `Umar) to one of his (Ibn `Umar's) relatives, and he said, 'By Allah, he did build (something.' "Sufyan added, "I said, 'He must have said (the above narration) before he built."

Wathilah bin Al-Asqa' (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "Of the worst lies are: to claim a false father, or to pretend to have seen what one has not seen (tell a false dream), or to attribute to the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) what he has not said."

The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) cast a glance upon him and said, "He who does not show mercy to others, will not be shown mercy."

Al-Bara (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
A man equipped with arms came to the Prophet (PBUH) and asked: "O Messenger of Allah! Should I go and fight or should I embrace Islam first?" He (PBUH) replied, "Enter in the fold of Islam and then fight." He embraced Islam and fought until he was killed. Thereupon the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "He accepted Islam for a short time but was rewarded much."

'Abdullah bin Umm Maktum, the Mu'adhdhin (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
I said to the Messenger of Allah (PBUH): "There are many poisonous insects and wild beasts in Al-Madinah, and I am blind. Please grant me permission to perform Salat at home." He (PBUH) enquired whether he could hear the call: Hayya 'alas-Salah; Hayya 'alal-Falah (Come to the prayer, come to the salvation). When he replied in affirmative, the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) directed him to come (to mosque) for prayer."

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) said:
The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "People will desert Al-Madinah in spite of it being in better condition except for wild beasts and birds. The Last Hour will happen upon two shepherds of the tribe of Muzainah. They will enter Al-Madinah driving their sheep but will find it full of wild beasts and would turn away. When they will arrive at the hill named Thaniyyat-ul-Wada' they will fall on their faces."

It was narrated from Abu Sa'eed that:
When the Prophet (SAW) started to pray he would say: "Subhanakallahumma, wa bihamdika tabarakasmuka wa ta'ala jadduka wa la ilaha ghairuk (Glory and praise be to You, O Allah. Blessed be Your name and exalted be Your majesty, there is none worthy of worship except You.)"

It was narrated from Az-Zuhri, from 'Urwah, that :
Aishah said: "The sun was eclipsed during the lifetime of the Messenger of Allah (SAW) and it was called out: 'As-salatu jam'iah (prayer is about to begin in congregation).' So the people gathered and the Messenger of Allah (SAW) led them in prayer, bowing four times in two rak'ahs and prostrating four times."

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:
"My dearest friend advised me (to do) three things: 'To sleep after praying Witr, to fast three days each month, and to pray two rak'ahs of Fajr.'"

Jafar bin Muhammad narrated, that he heard his father narrate, that he heard Jabir, speak of the Pilgrimage of the Prophet:
"The Prophet stood atop as-Safa proclaiming the Tahlil of Allah (saying Lal ilaha illallah) and supplicating in between that."
أَخْبَرَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا شُعَيْبٌ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَاهُ، يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرًا، عَنْ حَجَّةِ النَّبِيِّ، صلى الله عليه وسلم ثُمَّ وَقَفَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَلَى الصَّفَا يُهَلِّلُ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَيَدْعُو بَيْنَ ذَلِكَ .

Narrated Anas bin Malik:
The Verse of Al-Hijab (veiling of women) was revealed in connection with Zainab bint Jahsh. (On the day of her marriage with him) the Prophet gave a wedding banquet with bread and meat; and she used to boast before other wives of the Prophet and used to say, "Allah married me (to the Prophet in the Heavens."
حَدَّثَنَا خَلاَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ طَهْمَانَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ يَقُولُ نَزَلَتْ آيَةُ الْحِجَابِ فِي زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ جَحْشٍ وَأَطْعَمَ عَلَيْهَا يَوْمَئِذٍ خُبْزًا وَلَحْمًا وَكَانَتْ تَفْخَرُ عَلَى نِسَاءِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَكَانَتْ تَقُولُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ أَنْكَحَنِي فِي السَّمَاءِ.

Yahya related to me from Malik that he had heard that Anas ibn Malik used to pay fidya when he had grown old and could no longer manage to do the fast.
Malik said, "I do not consider that to do so is obligatory, but what I like most is that a man does the fast when he is strong enough. Whoever pays compensation gives one mudd of food in place of every day, using the mudd of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace."
حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّهُ بَلَغَهُ أَنَّ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، كَبِرَ حَتَّى كَانَ لاَ يَقْدِرُ عَلَى الصِّيَامِ فَكَانَ يَفْتَدِي . قَالَ مَالِكٌ وَلاَ أَرَى ذَلِكَ وَاجِبًا وَأَحَبُّ إِلَىَّ أَنْ يَفْعَلَهُ إِذَا كَانَ قَوِيًّا عَلَيْهِ فَمَنْ فَدَى فَإِنَّمَا يُطْعِمُ مَكَانَ كُلِّ يَوْمٍ مُدًّا بِمُدِّ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم .

Yahya related to me from Malik that Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr ath- Thaqafi once asked Anas ibn Malik, while the two of them were going from Mina to Arafa, "What did you use to do on this day when you were with the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace?" He said, "Those of us who were saying the talbiya would continue doing so, and no-one disapproved of it, and those of us who were saying 'Allahu akbar' would continue doing so, and no-one disapproved of that either."
حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الثَّقَفِيِّ، أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ - وَهُمَا غَادِيَانِ مِنْ مِنًى إِلَى عَرَفَةَ - كَيْفَ كُنْتُمْ تَصْنَعُونَ فِي هَذَا الْيَوْمِ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ كَانَ يُهِلُّ الْمُهِلُّ مِنَّا فَلاَ يُنْكَرُ عَلَيْهِ وَيُكَبِّرُ الْمُكَبِّرُ فَلاَ يُنْكَرُ عَلَيْهِ .

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Anas ibn Malik that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, entered Makka, in the Year of Victory, wearing a helmet, and when he took it off a man came to him and said, "Messenger of Allah, Ibn Khatal is clinging to the covers of the Kaba,'' and the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Kill him."
Malik commented, "The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, was not in ihram at the time, and Allah knows best."
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم دَخَلَ مَكَّةَ عَامَ الْفَتْحِ وَعَلَى رَأْسِهِ الْمِغْفَرُ فَلَمَّا نَزَعَهُ جَاءَهُ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ لَهُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ابْنُ خَطَلٍ مُتَعَلِّقٌ بِأَسْتَارِ الْكَعْبَةِ . فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" اقْتُلُوهُ " .

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Abdullah and Hasan, the sons of Muhammad ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib from their ather, mayAllah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, forbade temporary marriage with women and the flesh of domestic donkeys on the Day of Khaybar.

That the Messenger of Allah combined Hajj and "Umrah, then no Qur'an was revealed concerning that, and the Prophet did not forbid it, regardless of what one man may say.

"We were with 'Ali and a funeral passed by him, and they stood up for it. 'Ali said: "What is this?' They said: 'The command of Abu Musa.' He said: 'Rather the Messenger of Allah stood up for a Jewish funeral but he did not do it again."'

"I sought permission to enter upon the Prophet (SAW) regarding a debt my father owed, so he said: 'Who is this?' I said: 'Me.' He said: 'Me, me.'As if he disliked that."

It was narrated that 'Aishah said:
"They say that the Prophet (PBUH) made a will for 'Ali,[1] but he called for a basin in which to urinate, then he went flaccid suddenly (and died), so how could he leave a will?!"
The Shaikh said: Azhar (one of the narrators) is Ibn Sa'd As-Samman.
[1] Meaning, appointing him as the Khalifah.

'Aishah narrated concerning the Ghusl of the Prophet (PBUH) from Janabah, that he used to wash his hands and perform Wudu', then he would run (his fingers) through his (hair on his) head so that it reaches all of his hair, then he would pour water over his entire body.

Abu 'Ali At-Tujibi (said) that he heard Abu Raihanah say:
"I heard the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) say: 'The eye that stays awake in the cause of Allah will be forbidden to the Fire.'"

Sunan an-Nasa'i 3929
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Prophet gave the datepalms of Khaibar and their land to the Jews of Khaibar, on condition that they would take care of them at their expense, and the Messenger of Allah would have half of whatever they produced.
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، رضى الله عَنْهُمَا أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم دَفَعَ إِلَى يَهُودِ خَيْبَرَ نَخْلَ خَيْبَرَ وَأَرْضَهَا عَلَى أَنْ يَعْمَلُوهَا مِنْ أَمْوَالِهِمْ وَأَنَّ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم شَطْرَ مَا يَخْرُجُ مِنْهَا.

Narrated Ali ibn AbuTalib:
If the religion were based on opinion, it would be more important to wipe the under part of the shoe than the upper but I have seen the Messenger of Allah (saws) wiping over the upper part of his shoes.

It has been narrated (through a different chain of transmitters) on the authority of Ibn Abbas that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upoh him) said:
One who dislikes a thing done by his Amir should be patient over it, for anyone from the people who withdraws (his obedience) from the government, even to the extent of a handspan and died in that conditions, would die the death of one belonging to the days of jahilliyya.

Do not prepare Nabidh by mixing nearly ripe dates and fresh dates together, and do not prepare Nabidh by mixing grapes and dates together, but prepare Nabidh from each (one of them) separately.

Anas narrated that the Prophet (saws) said:
"Every son of Adam sins, and the best of the sinners are the repentant."

Anas reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) went to Umm Aiman and I went along with him and she served him a drink in a vessel and he reported that the narrator said:
I do not know whether it was because of the fasting (or for any other reason) that he (the Holy Prophet) refused to accept that. She raised her voice and showed annoyance to him.

عَلَيْهِ وَتَذَمَّرُ عَلَيْهِ .

I asked Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) about the words of Allah, the Exalted and Glorious:" The day when the earth would be changed for another earth and Heaven would be changed for another Heaven (XiV. 48), (and inquired: ) (Allah's Messenger), where would the people be on that day? He said: They would be on the Sirat.

Narrated Anas:
The Prophet was the best, the bravest and the most
generous of all the people. Once when the people of Medina got
frightened, the Prophet rode a horse and went ahead of them and said,
"We found this horse very fast."
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ وَاقِدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، رضى الله عنه قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَحْسَنَ النَّاسِ وَأَشْجَعَ النَّاسِ وَأَجْوَدَ النَّاسِ، وَلَقَدْ فَزِعَ أَهْلُ الْمَدِينَةِ، فَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم سَبَقَهُمْ عَلَى فَرَسٍ، وَقَالَ
" وَجَدْنَاهُ بَحْرًا ".

Mujashi (bin Mas`ud) took his brother Mujalid bin Musud to the Prophet and said, "This is Mujalid and he will give a pledge of allegiance to you for migration." The Prophet said, "There is no migration after the Conquest of Mecca, but I will take his pledge of allegiance for Islam."
حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُوسَى، أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيِّ، عَنْ مُجَاشِعِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ جَاءَ مُجَاشِعٌ بِأَخِيهِ مُجَالِدِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ هَذَا مُجَالِدٌ يُبَايِعُكَ عَلَى الْهِجْرَةِ. فَقَالَ
" لاَ هِجْرَةَ بَعْدَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ، وَلَكِنْ أُبَايِعُهُ عَلَى الإِسْلاَمِ ".

On the day of Khaibar, Allah's Apostle forbade the Mut'a (i.e. temporary marriage) and the eating of donkey-meat.

Jubair b. Mut’im reported :
People made a mention of washing because of sexual defilement before the Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him). The Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) said: I pour (water) on my head three times. And he made a sign with both his hands.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ النُّفَيْلِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ، أَخْبَرَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ صُرَدٍ، عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ، أَنَّهُمْ ذَكَرُوا عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم الْغُسْلَ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" أَمَّا أَنَا فَأُفِيضُ عَلَى رَأْسِي ثَلاَثًا " . وَأَشَارَ بِيَدَيْهِ كِلْتَيْهِمَا .

Narrated Ibn 'Umar:
The Prophet (saws) handed over the Jews of Khaibar the palm trees and the land of Khaibar on condition that they should employ what belonged to them in working on them, and that he should have half of the fruits.
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنِ اللَّيْثِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ غَنَجٍ - عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم دَفَعَ إِلَى يَهُودِ خَيْبَرَ نَخْلَ خَيْبَرَ وَأَرْضَهَا عَلَى أَنْ يَعْتَمِلُوهَا مِنْ أَمْوَالِهِمْ وَأَنَّ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم شَطْرَ ثَمَرَتِهَا .

Narrated Jabir b. 'Abd Allah :
The Prophet (saws) saw a man who had been put in the shade and saw a crowd of people around him (in the course of a journey). He said: Fasting while on journey is not part of righteousness.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعْدِ بْنِ زُرَارَةَ - عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَسَنٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم رَأَى رَجُلاً يُظَلَّلُ عَلَيْهِ وَالزِّحَامُ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ
" لَيْسَ مِنَ الْبِرِّ الصِّيَامُ فِي السَّفَرِ " .

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that :
The Prophet said "I do not want to hear of anyone of you who, upon hearing a Hadith narrated from me, says while reclining on his pillow: 'Recite Qur'an (to verify this Hadith).' (Here the Propher SAW said) Any excellent word that is said, it is I who have said it." [How can you reject what I have said?]
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفُضَيْلِ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمَقْبُرِيُّ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ أَنَّهُ قَالَ
" لاَ أَعْرِفَنَّ مَا يُحَدَّثُ أَحَدُكُمْ عَنِّي الْحَدِيثَ وَهُوَ مُتَّكِئٌ عَلَى أَرِيكَتِهِ فَيَقُولُ اقْرَأْ قُرْآنًا . مَا قِيلَ مِنْ قَوْلٍ حَسَنٍ فَأَنَا قُلْتُهُ " .
