Narrated Ibn Juraij:
I heard Nazi' saying, "Ibn `Umar, said, 'The Prophet forbade that a man should make another man to get up to sit in his place' ". I said to Nafi`, 'Is it for Jumua prayer only?' He replied, "For Jumua prayer and any other (prayer)."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَخْلَدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ نَافِعًا، يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ يَقُولُ نَهَى النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنْ يُقِيمَ الرَّجُلُ أَخَاهُ مِنْ مَقْعَدِهِ وَيَجْلِسَ فِيهِ. قُلْتُ لِنَافِعٍ الْجُمُعَةَ قَالَ الْجُمُعَةَ وَغَيْرَهَا.

I saw Allah's Apostle arriving at Mecca; he kissed the Black Stone Corner first while doing Tawaf and did ramal in the first three rounds of the seven rounds (of Tawaf).

Narrated Ibn `Abbas:
I gave Zamzam water to Allah's Apostle and he drank it while standing. `Asim (a sub-narrator) said that `Ikrima took the oath that on that day the Prophet had not been standing but riding a camel.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ ـ هُوَ ابْنُ سَلاَمٍ ـ أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَزَارِيُّ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ حَدَّثَهُ قَالَ سَقَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِنْ زَمْزَمَ فَشَرِبَ وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ. قَالَ عَاصِمٌ فَحَلَفَ عِكْرِمَةُ مَا كَانَ يَوْمَئِذٍ إِلاَّ عَلَى بَعِيرٍ.

Narrated Ibn `Umar:
The Prophet offered the Maghrib and `Isha' prayers together at Jam' (i.e. Al-Muzdalifa) with a separate Iqama for each of them and did not offer any optional prayer in between them or after each of them.
حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ جَمَعَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ بِجَمْعٍ، كُلُّ وَاحِدَةٍ مِنْهُمَا بِإِقَامَةٍ، وَلَمْ يُسَبِّحْ بَيْنَهُمَا وَلاَ عَلَى إِثْرِ كُلِّ وَاحِدَةٍ مِنْهُمَا.

Allah's Apostle said, "Five kinds of animals are harmful and could be killed in the Haram (Sanctuary). These are: the crow, the kite, the scorpion, the mouse and the rabid dog."

" خَمْسٌ مِنَ الدَّوَابِّ كُلُّهُنَّ فَاسِقٌ، يَقْتُلُهُنَّ فِي الْحَرَمِ الْغُرَابُ وَالْحِدَأَةُ وَالْعَقْرَبُ وَالْفَأْرَةُ وَالْكَلْبُ الْعَقُورُ ".

Allah's Apostle was cupped while he was in a state of Ihram.
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ قَالَ عَمْرٌو أَوَّلُ شَىْءٍ سَمِعْتُ عَطَاءً، يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ يَقُولُ احْتَجَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ. ثُمَّ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ حَدَّثَنِي طَاوُسٌ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فَقُلْتُ لَعَلَّهُ سَمِعَهُ مِنْهُمَا.

Narrated Anas bin Malik:
Allah's Apostle entered Mecca in the year of its Conquest wearing an Arabian helmet on his head and when the Prophet took it off, a person came and said, "Ibn Khatal is holding the covering of the Ka`ba (taking refuge in the Ka`ba)." The Prophet said, "Kill him."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم دَخَلَ عَامَ الْفَتْحِ، وَعَلَى رَأْسِهِ الْمِغْفَرُ، فَلَمَّا نَزَعَهُ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ، فَقَالَ إِنَّ ابْنَ خَطَلٍ مُتَعَلِّقٌ بِأَسْتَارِ الْكَعْبَةِ. فَقَالَ
" اقْتُلُوهُ ".

Sahih al-Bukhari 2098
Narrated Ibn `Abbas:
`Ukaz, Majanna and Dhul-Majaz were markets in the Pre-Islamic period. When the people embraced Islam they considered it a sin to trade there. So, the following Holy Verse came:-- 'There is no harm for you if you seek of the bounty of your Lord (Allah) in the Hajj season." (2.198) Ibn `Abbas recited it like this.
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ كَانَتْ عُكَاظٌ وَمَجَنَّةُ وَذُو الْمَجَازِ أَسْوَاقًا فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ، فَلَمَّا كَانَ الإِسْلاَمُ تَأَثَّمُوا مِنَ التِّجَارَةِ فِيهَا، فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ {لَيْسَ عَلَيْكُمْ جُنَاحٌ} فِي مَوَاسِمِ الْحَجِّ، قَرَأَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ كَذَا.

It was narrated that Usmah bin Zaid said:
"The Messenger of Allah entered the Kabah and recited the Tasbih and the Takbir in its corners, but he did not pray. Then he came out and prayed two Rakahs behind the Maqam, then he said: 'This is Qiblah.'"
أَخْبَرَنَا حَاجِبُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْمَنْبِجِيُّ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي رَوَّادٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، قَالَ دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم الْكَعْبَةَ فَسَبَّحَ فِي نَوَاحِيهَا وَكَبَّرَ وَلَمْ يُصَلِّ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ فَصَلَّى خَلْفَ الْمَقَامِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ قَالَ
" هَذِهِ الْقِبْلَةُ " .

It was narrated that Ibn Abbas said:
"Prophet was treated by means of cupping when he was in Ihram."

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا النَّضْرُ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ شُمَيْلٍ - قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَشْعَثُ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ - عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم صَلَّى الظُّهْرَ بِالْبَيْدَاءِ ثُمَّ رَكِبَ وَصَعِدَ جَبَلَ الْبَيْدَاءِ فَأَهَلَّ بِالْحَجِّ وَالْعُمْرَةِ حِينَ صَلَّى الظُّهْرَ .

the Messenger of Allah fasted while traveling until he reached Qudaid, then he called for a cup of milk and drank and broke his fast; he and his Companions.
أَخْبَرَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عِيسَى، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم صَامَ فِي السَّفَرِ حَتَّى أَتَى قُدَيْدًا ثُمَّ دَعَا بِقَدَحٍ مِنْ لَبَنٍ فَشَرِبَ فَأَفْطَرَ هُوَ وَأَصْحَابُهُ .

"I heard the Messenger of Allah say concerning Ramadan: 'Whoever spends its night in prayer (Qiyam) out of faith and in the hope of reward, he will be forgiven his previous sins."' '

" مَنْ قَامَهُ إِيمَانًا وَاحْتِسَابًا غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ " .

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah:
Said that the Messenger of Allah announced the death of An-Najashi, the ruler of Ethiopia, to them on the day that he died, and said "Pray for forgiveness for your brother."
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ صَالِحٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ، وَابْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، أَخْبَرَهُمَا : أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَعَى لَهُمُ النَّجَاشِيَّ صَاحِبَ الْحَبَشَةِ فِي الْيَوْمِ الَّذِي مَاتَ فِيهِ فَقَالَ :
" اسْتَغْفِرُوا لأَخِيكُمْ " .

"Mention was made to the Messenger of Allah of the daughter of Hamzah (as a potential wife). He said: 'She is the daughter of my brother through breast-feeding.'" (One of the narrators) Shu'bah said: "Qatadah heard this from Jabir bin Zaid."

It was narrated that Nafi' said:

Nafi' reported that Ibn Umar intended to go to Hajj (during the year) when Hajjaj attacked Ibn Zubair, and he narrated the account as (narrated above), and he used to say at the end of the hadith:
He who combines Hajj with Umra, for him one single circumambulation is sufficient, and he did not put off Ihram until he had completed both of them.
وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، قَالَ أَرَادَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ الْحَجَّ حِينَ نَزَلَ الْحَجَّاجُ بِابْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ . وَاقْتَصَّ الْحَدِيثَ بِمِثْلِ هَذِهِ الْقِصَّةِ وَقَالَ فِي آخِرِ الْحَدِيثِ وَكَانَ يَقُولُ مَنْ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الْحَجِّ وَالْعُمْرَةِ كَفَاهُ طَوَافٌ وَاحِدٌ وَلَمْ يَحِلَّ حَتَّى يَحِلَّ مِنْهُمَا جَمِيعًا .

Abu Huraira (Allah be pleated with him) reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said:
God willing, we will get down tomorrow, at Khaif of Banu Kinanah, the place where they had taken an oath on unbelief.
حَدَّثَنِي حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّهُ قَالَ
" نَنْزِلُ غَدًا إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ بِخَيْفِ بَنِي كِنَانَةَ حَيْثُ تَقَاسَمُوا عَلَى الْكُفْرِ " .

This hadith is narrated (from 'A'isha) on the authority of Ibn Shihab with the same chain of transmitters (and the words are):
Safiyyah bint Huyayy, the wife of Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him), entered the period of menses at the occasion of the Farewell Pilgrimage after she had performed Tawaf Ifada in the state of cleanliness; the rest of the hadith is the same.

I heard Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: He who patiently endured the hardships and rigours of (this city, i. e. Medina), I would be his witness and intercessor on the Day of Resurrection.
وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ رَافِعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا الضَّحَّاكُ، عَنْ قَطَنٍ الْخُزَاعِيِّ، عَنْ يُحَنِّسَ، مَوْلَى مُصْعَبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ
" مَنْ صَبَرَ عَلَى لأْوَائِهَا وَشِدَّتِهَا كُنْتُ لَهُ شَهِيدًا أَوْ شَفِيعًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " . يَعْنِي الْمَدِينَةَ .

'Ali b. AbiTalib reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) prohibited on the Day of Khaibar the contracting of temporary marriage with women and the eating of the flesh of domestic asses.

Ibn 'Umar reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying:
He who emancipates his share in the slave, it is his responsibility to secure full freedom for him provided he (the slave) has enough money to pay the (remaining) price, but it he has not so much money he would be emancipated to the extent that the first man emancipated.

Ibn 'Umar reported:
Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) addressed people in one of his expeditions. Ibn 'Umar said: I went forward to him but he went away before I reached him. I asked (the people present there): What did he say? They said that he (the Holy Prophet) had forbidden the preparation of Nabidh in gourd and varnished jar.

Ibn Abbas narrated that the Messenger of Allah said:
"It is enough sin for you that you never stop disputing."
حَدَّثَنَا فَضَالَةُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْكُوفِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ وَهْبِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" كَفَى بِكَ إِثْمًا أَنْ لاَ تَزَالَ مُخَاصِمًا " . وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ لاَ نَعْرِفُهُ إِلاَّ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ .

"The people of two religions do not inherit from each other."

" لاَ يَتَوَارَثُ أَهْلُ مِلَّتَيْنِ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ لاَ نَعْرِفُهُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ جَابِرٍ إِلاَّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى .

Samurah narrated that the Prophet (saws) said:
"The lifelong gift is permitted for its inhabitant" or:"is an inheritance for its inhabitant."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ، أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" الْعُمْرَى جَائِزَةٌ لأَهْلِهَا أَوْ مِيرَاثٌ لأَهْلِهَا " . قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ وَجَابِرٍ وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَعَائِشَةَ وَابْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ وَمُعَاوِيَةَ .

Narrated Zaid bin Khalid Al-Juhani:
That the Messenger of Allah (saws) said, "Whoever prepares a fighter in Allah's cause, or looks after the family of a fighter, then he has participated in a military expedition."
[Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.

Ibn 'Umar reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying:
None should make one'& brother stand and then sit at his place (and it was common with) Ibn Umar that when any person stood in the company (with a view to making room for him) he did not sit there.

Sahih Muslim 2211 b
Hisham reported this hadith with the same chain of transmitters. In the hadith transmitted on the authority of Ibn Numair (the words are):
" She poured water on her sides and in the opening of the shirt at the uppermost part of the chest." There is no mention of these words:" It is from the vehemence of the heat of the Hell." This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Abu Usama with the same chain of transmitters.
وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، وَأَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ هِشَامٍ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ . وَفِي

Ibn 'Umar said:
When the Messenger of Allah (saws) would go out (for prayer) on the day of 'Id, he ordered to bring a lance, it was then setup in front of him and he would pray in its direction, and the people (stood) behind him. He used to do so during journey ; hence the rulers would take it (lance with them).

Sunan Abi Dawud 3434
This tradition has also been narrated by 'Umar from the Messenger of Allah (saws) through a different chain of narrators. It mentions only the sale of the slave. It has also been transmitted by Nafi' on the authority of Ibn 'Umar from the Prophet (saws) indicating only the sale of palm-trees.
Abu Dawud said:
Al-Zuhri and Nafi' differed among themselves in four traditions. This is one of them.

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:
The Prophet (saws) while going round the Ka'bah passed a man who was led with a ring of bridle in his nose. The Prophet (saws) cut it off with his hand and ordered to lead him by catching his hand.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي الأَحْوَلُ، أَنَّ طَاوُسًا، أَخْبَرَهُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، : أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مَرَّ وَهُوَ يَطُوفُ بِالْكَعْبَةِ بِإِنْسَانٍ يَقُودُهُ بِخِزَامَةٍ فِي أَنْفِهِ، فَقَطَعَهَا النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِيَدِهِ وَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَقُودَهُ بِيَدِهِ .

‘Imran b. Husain reported that the prophet of Allah (may peace be upon him) led them in the noon prayer. When he finished it, he said:
Which of you did recite the surah “ Glorify the name of thy lord, the Most High”(Surah lxxxvii.) A man said: I . He said: I knew that some one of you confused me in it(i.e in the recitation of the Qur’an).

when a servant (of Allah) prostrates himself, the seven limbs, i.e, his face, his palms, his knees and his feet prostrate along with him.

Ibn Juraij said “O ye who believe, Obey Allaah and obey the Apostle and those charged with authority amongst you.” This verse was revealed about ‘Abd Allaah bin Qais bin ‘Adi whom the Prophet (saws) sent along with a detachment. Ya’la narrated it to me from Sa’id bin Jubair on the authority of Ibn ‘Abbas.

When the Prophet (saws) became fat, Tamim al-Dari said to him: Should I make for you pulpit, Messenger of Allah, that will bear the burden of your body ? He said: Yes. So he made a pulpit consisting of two steps.

وَرَوَوْا بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّهُ قَالَ " إِذَا زَنَتِ الأَمَةُ فَاجْلِدُوهَا فَإِنْ زَنَتْ فِي الرَّابِعَةِ فَبِيعُوهَا وَلَوْ بِضَفِيرٍ " . وَرَوَى سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَزَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ وَشِبْلٍ قَالُوا كُنَّا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم . هَكَذَا رَوَى ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ الْحَدِيثَيْنِ جَمِيعًا عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَزَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ وَشِبْلٍ وَحَدِيثُ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ وَهَمٌ وَهِمَ فِيهِ سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ أَدْخَلَ حَدِيثًا فِي حَدِيثٍ . وَالصَّحِيحُ مَا رَوَى مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ الزُّبَيْدِيُّ وَيُونُسُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ وَابْنُ أَخِي الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَزَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " إِذَا زَنَتِ الأَمَةُ فَاجْلِدُوهَا " . وَالزُّهْرِيُّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ شِبْلِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ الأَوْسِيِّ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " إِذَا زَنَتِ الأَمَةُ " . وَهَذَا الصَّحِيحُ عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْحَدِيثِ . - وَشِبْلُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ لَمْ يُدْرِكِ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِنَّمَا رَوَى شِبْلٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ الأَوْسِيِّ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَهَذَا الصَّحِيحُ وَحَدِيثُ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ غَيْرُ مَحْفُوظٍ وَرُوِيَ عَنْهُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ شِبْلُ بْنُ حَامِدٍ وَهُوَ خَطَأٌ إِنَّمَا هُوَ شِبْلُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ وَيُقَالُ أَيْضًا شِبْلُ بْنُ خُلَيْدٍ .

Muhammed b. Sulaiman narrated from Abu Nu’aim, from Mis’ar, from Ibn ‘Ubaid, from Ibn Ma’qil, from two men of Muzainah, one from the other, one of them is ‘Abd Allah b. ‘Amr b. ‘Uwaim, and the other is Ghalib b. al-Abjar. Mis’ar said:
I think it was Ghalib who had come to the Prophet(may peace be upon him) with tradition.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَعْقِلٍ، عَنْ رَجُلَيْنِ، مِنْ مُزَيْنَةَ أَحَدُهُمَا عَنِ الآخَرِ، أَحَدُهُمَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ عُوَيْمٍ وَالآخَرُ غَالِبُ بْنُ الأَبْجَرِ . قَالَ مِسْعَرٌ أَرَى غَالِبًا الَّذِي أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ .

Mishkat al-Masabih 2529
Ibn ‘Abbas told that God's messenger heard a man say, “Labbaik on behalf of Shubruma." He asked who Shubruma was, and the man replied, “A brother of mine," or “a relative of mine." He asked whether he had performed the pilgrimage on his own behalf, and when he replied that he had not, he said, “Perform the pilgrimage on your own behalf, then perform it on behalf of Shubruma."
Shafi'i, Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah transmitted it.
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَمِعَ رَجُلًا يَقُولُ لَبَّيْكَ عَنْ شُبْرُمَةَ قَالَ: «مَنْ شُبْرُمَةُ» قَالَ: أَخٌ لِي أَوْ قَرِيبٌ لِي قَالَ: «أَحَجَجْتَ عَنْ نَفْسِكَ؟» قَالَ: لَا قَالَ: «حُجَّ عَنْ نَفْسِكَ ثُمَّ حُجَّ عَنْ شُبْرُمَةَ» . رَوَاهُ الشَّافِعِيُّ وَأَبُو دَاوُد وابنُ مَاجَه

Mishkat al-Masabih 1792
Ibn Mas'ud reported the Prophet as saying,
“No man will fail to pay the zakat on his property without God putting a large snake on his neck on the day of resurrection." He then recited to them the justification of it from God s Book, “Let not those who are niggardly with what God has given them from His bounty suppose…”*
Tirmidhi, Nasa’i and Ibn Majah transmitted it.

وَعَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَا مِنْ رَجُلٍ لَا يُؤَدِّي زَكَاةَ مَالِهِ إِلَّا جَعَلَ اللَّهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فِي عُنُقِهِ شُجَاعًا» ثُمَّ قَرَأَ عَلَيْنَا مِصْدَاقَهُ مِنْ كِتَابِ اللَّهِ: (وَلَا يَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ يبلخون بِمَا آتَاهُم الله من فَضله)

Anas said:
The Prophet announced the death of Zaid, Ja`far and Ibn Rawaha to the people before news of them had reached them[*], saying, "Zaid took the standard and was smitten, then Ja'far took it and was smitten, then Ibn Rawaha took it and was smitten (the tears mean while dripping from his eyes). Finally, one of God's swords (meaning Khalid b. al-Walid) took the standard till God granted them success."
Bukhari transmitted it.
وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ نَعَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ زَيْدًا وَجَعْفَرًا وَابْنَ رَوَاحَةَ لِلنَّاسِ قَبْلَ أَن يَأْتِيهِ خَبَرُهُمْ فَقَالَ أَخْذَ الرَّايَةَ زِيدٌ فَأُصِيبَ ثُمَّ أَخَذَ جَعْفَرٌ فَأُصِيبَ ثُمَّ أَخَذَ ابْنُ رَوَاحَةَ فَأُصِيبَ وَعَيْنَاهُ تَذْرِفَانِ حَتَّى أَخَذَ الرَّايَةَ سَيْفٌ من سيوف الله حَتَّى فتح الله عَلَيْهِم. رَوَاهُ البُخَارِيّ

Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 66
Sa'id ibn Sam'an heard Abu Hurayra seeking refuge from the power of children
and fools. Sa'id said, "Ibn Hasana al-Juhani told me that he asked Abu Hurayra,
'What is the token of that?' He replied, 'That he severs ties of kinship,
obeys someone who is in error, and disobeys the correct guide.'"
حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ بْنُ أَبِي إِيَاسٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سَمْعَانَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَتَعَوَّذُ مِنْ إِمَارَةِ الصِّبْيَانِ وَالسُّفَهَاءِ. فَقَالَ سَعِيدُ بْنُ سَمْعَانَ: فَأَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ حَسَنَةَ الْجُهَنِيُّ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ: مَا آيَةُ ذَلِكَ؟ قَالَ: أَنْ تُقْطَعَ الأَرْحَامُ، وَيُطَاعَ الْمُغْوِي، وَيُعْصَى الْمُرْشِدُ.

‘Abdullah Ibn 'Amro ibn al-'As (RAA) narrated that The Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) said, “The Diyah for accidental and quasi-deliberate homicide -such as that inflicted with a whip or a stick- is a hundred camels, forty of which are pregnant she-camels.” Related by Abu-Dawud, An-Nasa’i and Ibn Majah. Ibn Hibban graded it as Sahih.
وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا; أَنَّ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -قَالَ: { أَلَا إِنَّ دِيَةَ اَلْخَطَأِ شِبْهِ اَلْعَمْدِ -مَا كَانَ بِالسَّوْطِ وَالْعَصَا- مَائَةٌ مِنَ اَلْإِبِلِ, مِنْهَا أَرْبَعُونَ فِي بُطُونِهَا أَوْلَادُهَا } أَخْرَجَهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ, وَالنَّسَائِيُّ, وَابْنُ مَاجَهْ, وَصَحَّحَهُ اِبْنُ حِبَّانَ 1

Ibn ’Abbas (RAA) narrated, ‘The Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) enjoined Zakat-ul-fitr on the one who fasts (i.e. fasted during the month of Ramadan) to purify him from any indecent act or speech and for the purpose of providing food for the needy. It is accepted as Zakah for the person who pays it before the Eid prayer and it is Sadaqah (i.e. voluntary charity) for the person who pays it after the Eid prayer.’ Related by Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah and Al-Hakim graded it as Sahih.
وَعَنِ اِبْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: { فَرَضَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -زَكَاةَ اَلْفِطْرِ; طُهْرَةً لِلصَّائِمِ مِنَ اَللَّغْوِ, وَالرَّفَثِ, وَطُعْمَةً لِلْمَسَاكِينِ, فَمَنْ أَدَّاهَا قَبْلَ اَلصَّلَاةِ فَهِيَ زَكَاةٌ مَقْبُولَةٌ, وَمَنْ أَدَّاهَا بَعْدَ اَلصَّلَاةِ فَهِيَ صَدَقَةٌ مِنَ اَلصَّدَقَاتِ. } رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ, وَابْنُ مَاجَهْ, وَصَحَّحَهُ اَلْحَاكِم ُ 1 .
