Mishkat al-Masabih 1411
Jabir reported God’s Messenger as saying in the course of a sermon, “When one of you comes on Friday while the imam is preaching, he should pray two rak'as and make them short.”
Muslim transmitted it.
وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسلم وَهُوَ يخْطب: «إِذَا جَاءَ أَحَدُكُمْ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَالْإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ فليركع رَكْعَتَيْنِ وليتجوز فيهمَا» . رَوَاهُ مُسلم

Hisn al-Muslim 78
Allāhumma bika aṣbaḥnā,
wa bika amsaynā,
wa bika naḥyā, wa bika namūt,
wa ilaykan-nushūr.
When you say this in the evening you should say:
Allāhumma bika amsaynā wa bika aṣbaḥnā,
wa bika naḥyā, wa bika namūt,
wa ilaykal-maṣīr
O Allah, by You we enter the morning and by You we enter the evening,
by You we live and by You we die,
and to You is the Final Return.
O Allah, You bring us the end of the day as You bring us its beginning,
You bring us life and you bring us death,
and to You is our fate.

Jabir declared that the Jews used to say:
“When a man has intercourse with his wife through the vagina, but being on her back, the child will have a squint,” so the verse came down, “Your wives are a tilth to you, so come to your tilth however you will” (Al-Qur’an 2:223).

Yahya said from Malik that he heard from Sulayman ibn Yasar and others that when they were asked whether the testimony of a man flogged for a hadd crime was permitted, they said, "Yes, when repentance (tawba) appears from him."
Malik related to me that he heard Ibn Shihab being asked about that and he said the like of what Sulayman ibn Yasar said.
Malik said, "That is what is done in our community. It is by the word of Allah, the Blessed, the Exalted, 'And those who accuse women who are muhsan, and then do not bring four witnesses, flog them with eighty lashes, and do not accept any testimony of theirs ever. They indeed are evil-doers, save those who turn in tawba after that and make amends. Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.' " (Sura 24 ayat 4).

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Amra bint Abd ar-Rahman that when A'isha was doing itikaf she would only ask after sick people if she was walking and not if she was standing still.
Malik said, "A person doing itikaf should not carry out obligations of his, nor leave the mosque for them, nor should he help anyone. He should only leave the mosque to relieve himself. If he were able to go out to do things for people, visiting the sick, praying over the dead and following funeral processions would be the things with the most claim on his coming out."
Malik said, "A person doing itikaf is not doing itikaf until he avoids what some one doing itikaf should avoid, namely, visiting the sick, praying over the dead, and entering houses, except to relieve himself."

Narrated [Abu Hurairah (RA)]:
Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "If you see someone buying or selling inside the mosque, say: 'May Allah not make your trading profitable!'"
[Reported by an-Nasa'i and at-Tirmidhi and the latter graded it Hasan (good)].

Narrated Abu Qatada (RA):

Mishkat al-Masabih 2704
Jabir said he asked God’s messenger about the hyena and he replied, “It is game, and if one who is in the sacred state gets (Mirqat, iii, 262 says this may be either by buying it or hunting) it he should give a sheep as atonement.”
Abu Dawud, Ibn Majah and Darimi transmitted it.
وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ: سَأَلَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الضَّبُعِ؟ قَالَ: «هُوَ صَيْدٌ وَيُجْعَلُ فِيهِ كَبْشًا إِذَا أَصَابَهُ الْمُحْرِمُ» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد وَابْن مَاجَه والدارمي

Mishkat al-Masabih 859
Ibn ‘Abbas said that when the Prophet recited, “Glorify the name of thy most high Lord,” (Al-Quran; 87) he said, “Glory be to my Lord most high.”
Ahmad and Abu Dawud transmitted it.
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: كَانَ إِذَا قَرَأَ (سبح اسْم رَبك الْأَعْلَى)
قَالَ: (سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْأَعْلَى)

Mishkat al-Masabih 1345
Anas said that when God’s Messenger was on a journey and wished to say voluntary prayers he made his she-camel face the qibla and said, “God is most great,” then prayed in whatever direction his mount made him face.
Abu Dawud transmitted it.
وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا سَافَرَ وَأَرَادَ أَنْ يَتَطَوَّعَ اسْتَقْبَلَ الْقِبْلَةَ بِنَاقَتِهِ فَكَبَّرَ ثُمَّ صَلَّى حَيْثُ وَجهه ركابه. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد

Mishkat al-Masabih 4255
Ja'far b. Muhammad told on his father's authority that when God's messenger ate along with people he was the last to finish eating.
Baihaqi transmitted it in Shu'ab al-iman in mursal form.
وَعَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أَكَلَ مَعَ قَوْمٍ كَانَ آخِرَهُمْ أَكْلًا. رَوَاهُ الْبَيْهَقِيّ فِي «شعب الْإِيمَان» مُرْسلا
