Abu Huraira reported God’s messenger as saying, “A man who came upon a branch of a tree overhanging a road and decided to move if from the way of Muslims to keep it from annoying them was brought into paradise." (Bukhari and Muslim.)

'A’isha said that when she told God’s messenger she had two neighbours and asked to which of them she should send a present, he replied, “To the one who lives nearer you.” Bukhari transmitted it.

Abu Huraira reported God’s messenger as saying, “When a woman gives something her husband has earned without being commanded by him to do so, she has half his reward.” (Bukhari and Muslim.)

She told that she had screened a store-room of hers with a curtain on which there were figures and the Prophet tore it down ; so she made two cushions out of it and had them in the house for sitting on.” (Bukhari and Muslim.)

Sa‘d told of hearing God’s messenger say, “He who has a morning meal of seven 'ajwa* dates will not suffer harm that day through poison or magic." *The name of a good quality of Medina dates. (Bukhari and Muslim.)

God’s messenger forbade nabidh in green jars, and when I asked whether we might drink it from white ones he replied that we might not. Bukhari transmitted it.

the testimony that there is no god but God and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger, the observance of the prayer, the payment of zakat, the Pilgrimage, and the fast during Ramadan.” (Bukhari and Muslim.)

Abu Huraira reported that God’s messenger declared that God said, “The son of Adam injures me by abusing time, whereas I am time. Authority is in my hand. I vary night and day.” (Bukhari and Muslim.)

Abu Huraira reported God’s messenger as saying, “God forgives my people the evil promptings which arise within them so long as they do not act upon them or speak about them.” (Bukhari and Muslim.)

Anas told that Abu Talha and the Prophet were both using one shield. Abu Talha was a good archer, and when he shot the Prophet looked over and watched where his arrows went. Bukhari transmitted it.

Abu Huraira reported God’s Messenger as saying, "If anyone reserves a horse in God’s path with faith in God and belief in His promise, its food, drink, dung and urine will be in his scale on the day of resurrection.” Bukhari transmitted it.

On the day of Khaibar I got a skin of fat, and when I decided not to give anyone any of it that day I turned round and saw God’s Messenger smiling at me. (Bukhari and Muslim.)

Abu Huraira reported God's messenger as saying, "The Messiah[*] will come from the East making for Medina and will alight behind Uhud, but the angels will then turn his face towards Syria and he will perish there." *i.e., the dajjal (Bukhari and Muslim.)

Abu Huraira reported the Prophet as saying, "The one who will be most fortunate by reason of my intercession on the day of resurrection will be the one who says there is no god but God sincerely from his heart," or, "his soul." Bukhari transmitted it.

Ma'qil b. Yasar told that he heard God’s Messenger say, “Any governor in charge of Muslim subjects who dies while acting dishonestly towards them will be excluded by God from paradise.” (Bukhari and Muslim.)

Ibn ‘Abbas reported God’s messenger as saying, “The devil is couching at the heart of the son of Adam. When he mentions God he withdraws, but when he is neglectful he makes evil suggestions.” Bukhari mentioned it in a note.

He reported God’s messenger as saying that if anyone says a hundred times in a day, "Glory be to God, and I begin with praise to Him", his sins will be removed from him though they are like the foam of the sea. (Bukhari and Muslim.)

Glory be to God, and I begin with praise of Him; and Glory be to God the Incomparably Great." (Bukhari and Muslim.)

He reported God’s messenger as saying, “If anyone performs the pilgrimage for God’s sake without talking immodestly or acting wickedly, he will return [free from sin] as on the day his mother bore him.” Bukhari and Muslim.

Abu Huraira reported God's messenger as saying, “Were it not that I might distress my people, I would order them to delay the evening prayer and use the tooth stick at every time of prayer.” (Bukhari and Muslim.)

Sahl reported God’s messenger as saying, “The people will continue to prosper as long as they hasten the breaking of the fast.”* *This refers to each day during Ramadan, and recommends that the fast should be broken as early as that may lawfully be done. (Bukhari and Muslim.)

Abu Sa‘id al-Khudri reported God’s messenger as saying, “If anyone fasts for a day while engaged in jihad, God will remove him* seventy years’ distance from hell.” *Literally, ‘his face’. (Bukhari and Muslim.)

Ibn ‘Umar said that when ‘Umar consulted the Prophet about a vow he had made in the pre-Islamic period to spend a night in devotion in the sacred mosque, he said, “Fulfill your vow.” (Bukhari and Muslim.)

She said, “The Prophet died lying between my breast and my collarbone. I will never feel bad about anyone having a painful death after what I saw the Prophet suffer.” Bukhari transmitted it.

Abu Huraira reported God’s messenger as saying, “Walk quickly at a funeral, for if the dead person was good it is a good condition to which you are sending him on, but if he was otherwise it is an evil of which you are ridding yourselves.” (Bukhari and Muslim.)

‘Abdallah b. Mughaffal reported God’s Messenger as saying, “Between every pair of adhans there is a prayer; between every pair of adhans there is a prayer.” Then he said on repeating it a third time, “for him who wishes.” (Bukhari and Muslim.)

Ibn ‘Abbas said what the Prophet forbade was that grain should be sold before it had been received. Ibn ‘Abbas said, “I do not think this applies to every commodity, but only to things of that type.” (Bukhari and Muslim.)

He said that the life-tenancy which God’s Messenger allowed was (only that one should say, “It is for you and your descendants.” When he says, “It is yours as long as you live,” it returns to its owner. (Bukhari and Muslim.)

Ibn ‘Abbas reported God’s Messenger as saying, "One who seeks to take back a gift is like a dog which returns to its vomit. An evil example does not apply to us*.” * i.e. to Muslims. Bukhari transmitted it.

Abu Huraira reported God's Messenger as saying, "If anyone emancipates a Muslim slave, God will set free from hell a member of the body for every member of his, even his private parts for his." (Bukhari and Muslim.)

Ibn ‘Umar and Abu Huraira reported the Prophet as saying, “He who points a weapon at us does not belong to us.” Bukhari transmitted it, and Muslim added, “And he who treats us dishonestly does not belong to us.”

Narrated (rad): Allah’s Messenger (saw) said, “The tanning of a dead animal’s skin purifies it”. [Ibn Hibban graded it Sahih (sound)].

While performing Wudu, the Prophet (saw) would run (his fingers) through his beard. [Reported by At-Tirmidhi and Ibn Khuzaima graded it Sahih].

’Abdullah bin As-Sa'di narrated that The Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) said, “Emigration (to fight the enemy) will continue as long as an enemy is fought.” Related by An-Nasa’i, and Ibn Hibban graded it as Sahih.

Ibn 'Abbas (RAA), The Messenger (PBUH) prohibited killing four creatures; ants, bees, hoopoes and shirkes.' Related by Ahmad and Abu Dawud. Ibn Hibban graded it as Sahih.

'Aishah (RAA) narrated, "Allah's Messenger (PBUH) commanded them to slaughter two sheep equal (in age) for a boy and one for a girl at their birth.' Related by At-Tirmidhi and graded it as Sahih.

Allah's Messenger (SAW) forbade two transactions combined in one. [Reported by Ahmad and an-Nasa'i. at-Tirmidhi and Ibn Hibban graded it Sahih (authentic)].

Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "I was not commanded to build beautified mosques". [Reported by Abu Dawud and Ibn Hibban graded it Sahih (authentic)]

That he gave the Prophet (saws) a gift or a camel, so the Prophet (saws) said: "Have you accepted Islam?" He said: "No." He said: "Then I have been prohibited from the Zabd (gift) of the idolaters."

[Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih. And the meaning of his saying: "I haven been prohibited from the Zabd (gifts) of the idolaters" is their gifts.

It has been reported about the Messenger (saws) that he used to accept the gifts of the idolaters while a dislike for that is mentioned in this Hadith.

And the implication is that this was after he used to accept from them, and then he later forbade their gifts.

From his father, from his grandfather that the Messenger of Allah (saws) said: "The (lone) rider is a Shaitan, and two raiders are two Shaitan. Three is a travelling party.

[Abu 'Eisa said:] The Hadith of Ibn 'Umar (no, 1673) is Hasan Sahih. We do not know of it except from this route ; as a narration of 'Asim. And he is Ibn Muhammad bin Zaid bin 'Abdullah bin 'Umar.

Muhammad said: "He is trustworthy, truthful. And 'Asim bin 'Umar Al-'Umari is weak in Hadith, I do not report anything from him." The Hadith of 'Abdullah bin 'Amr (no. 1674) is better.

"The Prophet (saws) had a ring of gold made for him which he wore on his right (hand). Then he sat on the Minbar and said: 'I did indeed have this ring on my right hand' then he discarded it and the people discarded their rings."

He said: There are narrations on this topic from 'Ali, Jabir, 'Abdullah bin Ja'far, Ibn 'Abbas, 'Aishah, and Anas.

[Abu 'Eisa said:] The Hadith of Ibn 'Umar is Hasan Sahih Hadith. This Hadith has been reported similarly from 'Nafi, from Ibn 'Umar, through routes other than this, and it was not mentioned in it that the ring was on his right hand.

That he said: "O Messenger of Allah! We live in a land of the People of Book and we cook in their containers, and drink in their vessels." The Messenger of Allah (saws) said: "If you do not find other than them, then rinse them with water."

The he said: "O Messenger of Allah! We live in a land of game, so what should we do ?" He said: "When you send your trained dog, and you mentioned the Name of Allah, and he kills it, then eat it. And when you shoot it with your bow, and it is killed, then eat it.'"

[Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.

"The Messenger of Allah (saws) cae out from the toilet and some food was brought to him. They said: 'Shall we bring you some water for Wudu'?' He said: 'I have only been ordered to perform Wudu' when standing for Salat.'"

[Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan [Sahih]. 'Amr bin Dinar has reported it from Sa'eed bin Al-Huwairith, from Ibn 'Abbas. 'Ali bin Al-Madini said: 'Sufyan Ath-Thawri disliked washing the hands before eating food, and he disliked placing the bread under the bowl.'"

That the Prophet (saws) said: "There are three whom Allah will not look at on the Day of Judgement, nor will He purify them, and theirs is a painful punishment." We said: "Who are they O Messenger of Allah ? For they have indeed failed and are lost!" He sai: "The Mannan, the one whose Izar hangs (below the ankels) and the one who promotes his merchandise with false oath."

[He said:] There are narrations on this topic from Ibn Mas'ud, Abu Hurairah, Abu Umamah bin Tha'labah, 'Imran bin Husain, and Ma'qil bin Yasar

[Abu 'Eisa said:] The Hadith of Abu Dharr is a Hasan Sahih Hadith.

"A slave came to give the pledge to the Prophet (saws) for Hijrah, but the Prophet (saws) did not realize that he was a slave. So his master came to get him and the Prophet (saws) said: 'Sell him to me.' So he purchased him for two black slaves. Then he would not pledge from anyone until he asked him if he was a slave."

[He said:] There is something on this topic from Anas.

[Abu 'Eisa said:] The Hadith of Jabir is a Hasan Sahih Hadith. This is acted upon according to the people of knowledge. There is no harm in a slave for two slaves in hand to hand exchange, but they differ when it is on credit.

"Makhrafah Al-'Abdi and I brought linens from Hajar. The Prophet (saws) came to us in bargain with us with some pants. There was someone with me who weighed (the goods) to determine the value. So the the Prophet (saws) said to the one weighing: 'Weigh and add more.'"

[He said:] There are narrations on this topic from Jabir and Abu Hurairah.

[Abu 'Eisa said:] The Hadith of Suwaid is a Hasan Sahih Hadith. The people of knowledge consider it recommended to add more when weighing.

Shu'bah reported this Hadith from Simak, so he said: "From Abu Safwan" and he mentioned the narration.

"The Messenger of Allah (saws) prohibited sales of Al-Munabadhah and Al-Mulamasah."

He said: There are narrations on this topic from Abu Sa'eed and Ibn 'Umar.

[Abu 'Eisa said:] The Hadith is Abu Hurairah is a Hasan Sahih Hadith. And the meaning of (Munabadhah) in this Hadith is when it is said: "When I throw something to you then the sale between you and I is concluded." And Al-Mulamasah is that he says: "When you touch something then the sale is concluded." Even if he did not see it at all, like if it was inside of a bag or something else. There are merely sales practices of the people of Jahiliyyah so they were prohibited.

‘Abd ar-Rahman b. Ya'mur ad-Dili told that he heard the Prophet say, “The pilgrimage is ‘Arafa. He who gets to ‘Arafa on the night of Jam' (This would suggest that one is credited with taking part in the halt at ‘Arafa if he gets there at any time before dawn on the night when the pilgrims are at al-Muzdalifa) before dawn has attained the pilgrimage. The days at Mina are three, but if anyone hurries over matters in two days he is guilty of no sin, and if anyone is late he is guilty of no sin.” Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud, Nasa'i, Ibn Majah and Darimi transmitted it, Tirmidhi saying this is a hasan sahih tradition.

Some people asked the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) about soothsayers. He (PBUH) said, "They are of no account." Upon this they said to him, "O Messenger of Allah! But they sometimes make true predictions." Thereupon the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "That is a word pertaining to truth which a jinn snatches (from the angels) and whispers into the ears of his friend (the soothsayers) who will then mix more than a hundred lies with it."

[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

The narration in Al-Bukhari is: "The angels descend in the clouds and mention matters which has been decreed in heaven; Satan steals a hearing (listens to it stealthily) and communicates it to the soothsayers who tell along with it a hundred lies."
