Isma'il ibn Ulayyah narrated to him from Ibn Juraij. This latter chain is more correct.

"Indeed, amount the last (of orders) Allah's Messenger ordered me with was to employ a Mu'adh-dhin who would not take a wage for his Adhan."

from Salih bin Khawwat, from someone who prayed Salat Al-Khawf with the Prophet, and he mentioned a similar narration.

The Messenger of Allah was asked: "Which Hajj is the most virtuous?" He said: "That with raised voices (Al-Ajj) and the flow of blood (of the sacrifice) (Ath-Thajj)."

"I heard Zaid bin Arqam say: 'The Messenger of Allah (S.A.W) ordered us to use Qust Al-Bahri and oil to treat Pleurisy.'"

"Black standards will come from Khurasan, nothing shall turn them back until they are planted in Jerusalem."

"The Messenger of Allah (saws) prohibited wearing Al-Qassi and what was dyed with 'Usfur."

[Abu 'Eisa said:] There are narrations on this topic from Anas and 'Abdullah bin 'Amr.

that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "No two Muslims meet each other and shake hands, except that Allah forgives them before they part."

that the Prophet (SAW) said to 'Ali bin Abi Talib: "You are from me, and I am from you." And there is a story along with this Hadith.

that concerning Al-'Abbas, the Prophet (SAW) said to 'Umar: "Indeed, the uncle of a man is the Sinw of his father." And 'Umar had spoken to him concerning his charity.

that the Prophet (SAW) said: "Al-'Abbas is the uncle of the Messenger of Allah (SAW), and indeed, the uncle of a man is the Sinw of his father or from the Sinw of his father."

"The Messenger of Allah (SAW) supplicated for me that Allah should give me Al-Hukm (knowledge, understanding, judging justly, or understanding of the Qur'an) two times."

Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "He who is not merciful to people Allah will not be merciful to him."

Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "Jannah is nearer to you than your shoelace, and so is the (Hell) Fire".

When Messenger of Allah (PBUH) died, his armour was mortgaged with a Jew for thirty Sa' (measures) of barley.

The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, 'Wear white clothes because they are the purest and they are closest to modesty; and shroud the dead in it."

The Prophet (PBUH) as saying: "The worst of lies is to pretend to have seen something which he has not seen."

The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) observed Saum (fasting) on the day of 'Ashura' and commanded us to fast on this day.

The Prophet (PBUH) would sleep during the early part of night and stand in Salat during the latter part.

I performed with the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) two Rak'ah before and two after Zuhr prayers.

On the occasion of the 'Eid, the Prophet (PBUH) would proceed to the prayer place taking one route and returning from another.

The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) saw spittle or snot or sputum, sticking to the wall towards Qiblah and scratched it off.

It was narrated from Umar bin al khattab رضي الله عنه that he said I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ do wudoo' , washing each part once.

It was narrated from ‘Ali that Al-`Abbas bin `Abdul-Muttalib asked the Prophet (ﷺ) about paying zakah in advance and he gave him a concession allowing him to do that.

Ibrahim b. Maisara reported God’s messenger as saying, “He who honours an innovator has assisted in undermining Islam.” Baihaqi transmitted it in mursal form in Shu'ab al-iman.

‘Abdallah b. Mas'ud reported God's Messenger as saying, “Trying to earn a lawful livelihood is an obligatory duty in addition to the duties which are obligatory.” Baihaqi transmitted it in Shu’ab al-iman.

Abu Sa'id al-Khudri reported the Prophet as saying, “One who is in the sacred state may kill a dangerous wild beast.” Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah transmitted it.

Concerning God’s words, “The recitation of the dawn is witnessed,” (Al-Qur’an, 17:78). Abu Huraira quoted the Prophet as saying, "The angels of the night and the angels of the day are present at it.” Tirmidhi transmitted it.

Al-Bara’ b. ‘Azib reported God's Messenger as saying, “When you prostrate yourself, place the palms of your hands on the ground and raise your elbows.” Muslim transmitted it.

Ibn ‘Abbas said that the Prophet prostrated himself when an-Najm (Al-Qur'an; 53) was revealed, and the Muslims, the ploytheists, jinn and men prostrated themselves along with him. Bukhari transmitted it.

I recited to God’s Messenger “By the star” (Al-Qur’an; 53) but he did not prostrate himself when I did so. (Bukhari and Muslim.)

God's Messenger used to command us to be brief, and he would recite as-Saffat (Al-Qur’an; 37) when he was our imam. Nasa’i transmitted it.

Abu Sa'id al-Khudrl said, “We used to bring forth as the zakat on breaking the fast of Ramadan a sa’ of grain, or of barley, or of dried dates, or of cheese, or of raisins." (Bukhari and Muslim.)

‘Abd al-Muttalib b. Rabi'a reported God’s messenger as saying, “These sadaqat are only people’s impurities,* and they are not lawful for Muhammad or Muhammad’s family.” Muslim transmitted it. * i.e. an atonement for their sins.

Al-Bara’ reported God’s messenger as saying, “If anyone lends an animal for milking, or silver coins, or shows someone the way, it will be equivalent to his having emancipated a slave.” Tirmidhi transmitted it.

Abu Usaid al-Ansari reported God’s messenger as saying, “Eat olive oil and anoint yourselves with it, for it comes from a blessed tree.” Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah and Darimi transmitted it.

Abu Huraira reported God’s messenger as saying, “The 'ajwa dates come from paradise and contain a cure for poison; truffles are a kind of manna and their juice is a medicine for the eye.” Tirmidhi transmitted it.

Abu Sa'id al-Khudri said God’s messenger forbade the ikhtibath of water-skins, adding in a version that this means having their heads inverted and then being drunk from. (Bukhari and Muslim.)

On the day of al-Hudaibiya, our numbers were one thousand four hundred, and the Prophet said to us, "To-day you are the best people on the earth." (Bukhari and Muslim.)

Ibn 'Abbas reported Allah's messenger as saying, "Indeed, Allah has pardoned my nation for mistakes, forgetfulness, and what they are forced to do against their will." Ibn Majah and Baihaqi transmitted it.

"The Messenger of Allah circumambulated the House seven times, walking rapidly in three circuits and walking (at a normal pace)b in three. Then he stood at the Maqam (place) of Ibrahim as a place of prayer, raising his voice so that the people could hear. Then he went and touched the Black Stone and went (to perform Sai) and said: 'We will start with that with which Allah started.' So he started with As-Safa, climbing up until he could see the House and he said three times: ''La ilaha illallah, Wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, yuhyi wa yumitu, wa huwaala kulli shayin qadir (There is none worthy of worship except Allah alone with no partner or associate, His is the dominion and to Him be praise, He gives life and death, and He has power over all things).' Then exclaimed Allah's greatness and praised Him, then he supplicated as much as was decreed for him. Then he came down walking, until he reached level ground at the bottom of the valley. Then he hastened until the ground began to rise. Then he walked until he came to Al-Marwah and climbed up it, and when he could see the house he said: 'La ilaha illallah, Wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, yuhyi wa yumitu, wa huwaala kulli shayin qadir (There is none worthy of worship except Allah alone with no partner or associate, His is the dominion and to Him be praise, He gives life and death, and He has power over all things).' He said that three times, then he remembered Allah, and glorified and praised Him, then he supplicated there for as long as Allah willed. And he did that until he had finished Sai."

"The Messenger of Allah circumambulated the House seven times, walking rapidly (Raml) in the three, and walking (at a regular pace) for four. Then he stood near the Maqam and prayed two Rakahs. Then he recited: 'And take you the Maqam (Place) of Ibrahim as a place of prayer, raising his voice, so that the people would hear. Then he went (to perform Sai) and said: 'We will start with that with which Allah started.' So he started with As-Safa, climbing up, until he could see the House, and he said three times: 'La ilaha illallah, Wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, yuhyi wa yumitu, wa huwaala kulli shayin qadir (There is none worthy of worship except Allah alone with no partner or associate, His is the dominion and to Him be praise, He gives life and death, and He has power over all things).' He said that three times, then he remembered Allah and glorified and praised Him, then he supplicated there for as long as Allah willed. And he did that until he finished Sai."

Yazid prayed along with the Messenger of Allah (saws) when he was a young boy. When he (the Prophet) had prayed there were two persons (sitting) in the corner of the mosque; they did not pray (along with the Prophet). He called for them. They were brought trembling (before him). He asked: What prevented you from praying along with us? They replied: We have already prayed in our houses. He said: Do not do so. If any of you prays in his house and finds that the imam has not prayed, he should pray along with him; and that will be a supererogatory prayer for him.

The Prophet (saws) used to give the salutation to his left and right sides until the whiteness of his cheek was seen, (saying: "Peace be upon you, and mercy of Allah" twice.

AbuDawud said: This is a version of the tradition reported by AbuSufyan. The version of Isra'il did not explain it. AbuDawud said: This tradition has been narrated by Zubayr from AbuIshaq and Yahya ibn Adam from Isra'il from AbuIshaq from AbdurRahman ibn al-Aswad from his father from Alqamah on the authority of Abdullah ibn Mas'ud. AbuDawud said: Shu'bah used to reject this tradition, the tradition narrated by AbuIshaq as coming from the Prophet (saws).

My daughter; she is weaned or about to wean. Rafi' said: My daughter. The Prophet (saws) said to him: Be seated on a side. And he said to her: Be seated on a side. He then seated the girl between them, and said to them: Call her. The girl inclined to her mother. The Prophet (saws) said: O Allah! guide her. The daughter then inclined to her father, and he took her.

When I entered upon Mu'awiyah, he said: How good your visit is to us, O father of so-and-so. (This is an idiom used by the Arabs on such occasions). I said: I tell you a tradition which I heard (from the Prophet). I heard the Messenger of Allah (saws) say: If Allah puts anyone in the position of authority over the affairs of the Muslims, and he secludes himself (from them), not fulfilling their needs, wants, and poverty, Allah will keep Himself away from him, not fulfilling his need, want and poverty. He said: He (Mu'awiyah) appointed a man to fulfil the needs of the people.

The Messenger of Allah (saws) was asked about fruit which was bung up and said: If a needy person takes some with his mouth and does not take a supply away in his garment, there is nothing on him, but he who carries any of it is to be fined twice the value and punished, and he who steals any of it after it has been put in the place where dates are dried to have his hand cut off if their value reaches the value of a shield. If he steals a thing less in value than it, he is to be find twice the value and punished.

Abu Dawud said: Jarin means the place where dates are dried.
