Three-Narrator Ahadith 40
Sufyān ibn ʿUyaynah narrated to us from ʿAmr ibn Dīnār, who said he heard Jābir say, “On the day of Uḥud a man said to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, ‘Can you tell me where I will be if I am killed?’ He replied, ‘In Paradise.’ The man then threw away some dates that were in his hand and fought until he was killed.”
