Three-Narrator Ahadith 37
Jābir (رضي الله عنه) reported:
“The Prophet (ﷺ) sold a mudabbar slave. [Nuʿaym] ibn al-Naḥḥām purchased him. He was a Coptic slave who died the previous year during the reign of [ʿAbdullāh] ibn al-Zubayr. A man from the Anṣār had declared him a mudabbar, and he [the Anṣārī man] had no other property besides him.” Reference: Musnad Aḥmad 37
