مُسْنَدُ قُدَامَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْكِلَابِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ
Three-Narrator Ahadith 318
Qudāmah ibn ʿAbdullāh al-Kilābī (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that he saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stone the Jamrah, Jamrat al-ʿAqabah, from the bottom of the valley, on the Day of Sacrifice, upon a reddish-brown she-camel of his, without striking, without driving [anyone] away, and without saying “make way, make way.”

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيْمَنُ بْنُ نَابِلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا قُدَامَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْكِلَابِيُّ، أَنَّهُ «رَأَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَمَى الْجَمْرَةَ جَمْرَةَ الْعَقَبَةِ مِنْ بَطْنِ الْوَادِي يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ، عَلَى نَاقَةٍ لَهُ صَهْبَاءَ، لَا ضَرْبَ، وَلَا طَرْدَ، وَلَا إِلَيْكَ إِلَيْكَ

Chain: Abū Aḥmad Muḥammad ibn ʿAbdullāh al-Zubayrī → Ayman ibn Nābil → Qudāmah ibn ʿAbdullāh al-Kilābī (may Allah be pleased with him) → witnessed directly. Rijāl: (1) Abū Aḥmad Muḥammad ibn ʿAbdullāh al-Zubayrī: thiqah thabt. (2) Ayman ibn Nābil, (3) Qudāmah: as above. Takhrīj: Abū Dāwūd, al-Tirmidhī, and Ibn Mājah, adding that the Prophet ﷺ stoned the Jamarah from the floor of the valley (baṭn al-wādī).
