مُسْنَدُ قُدَامَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْكِلَابِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ
Three-Narrator Ahadith 316
Ayman ibn Nābil reported:
I heard an elderly man of Banū Kilāb, called Qudāmah ibn ʿAbdullāh ibn ʿAmmār, say, “I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, on the Day of Sacrifice, stoning the Jamrah from atop a reddish-brown she-camel of his, without striking, without driving [anyone] away, and without saying ‘make way, make way.‘”

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيْمَنُ بْنُ نَابِلٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ شَيْخًا مِنْ بَنِي كِلَابٍ، يُقَالُ لَهُ: قُدَامَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ، قَالَ: «رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ يَرْمِي الْجَمْرَةَ عَنْ نَاقَةٍ لَهُ صَهْبَاءَ لَا ضَرْبَ، وَلَا طَرْدَ، وَلَا إِلَيْكَ إِلَيْكَ

Chain: Wakīʿ ibn al-Jarrāḥ → Ayman ibn Nābil al-Makkī → Qudāmah ibn ʿAbdullāh al-Kilābī (may Allah be pleased with him) → witnessed directly. Rijāl: (1) Wakīʿ ibn al-Jarrāḥ al-Ruʾāsī: thiqah thabt, imām, ʿābid, one of the foremost ḥadīth masters of his generation, d. 197 AH. (2) Ayman ibn Nābil, (3) Qudāmah ibn ʿAbdullāh al-Kilābī: as above. Takhrīj: Abū Dāwūd, al-Tirmidhī, and Ibn Mājah; it confirms the same description of the Prophet's manner while performing the ramy al-jamarāt (stoning of the pillars) mounted on his she-camel, avoiding any harm or harshness toward the pilgrims around him.
