Chain: Hishām ibn Saʿīd → al-Ḥasan ibn Ayyūb al-Ḥaḍramī → ʿAbdullāh ibn Busr (may Allah be pleased with him) → the Prophet ﷺ. Rijāl: (1) Hishām ibn Saʿīd: Hishām ibn Saʿīd Abū Aḥmad al-Ṭāʾī al-Dimashqī; ṣadūq, occasionally erring. (2) al-Ḥasan ibn Ayyūb al-Ḥaḍramī: al-Ḥasan ibn Ayyūb al-Ḥaḍramī; maqbūl, a minor Syrian narrator. (3) ʿAbdullāh ibn Busr: ʿAbdullāh ibn Busr ibn Abī Busr al-Māzinī; Companion (Ṣaḥābī) of Syria, one of the last Companions to die, at nearly a hundred years of age. Takhrīj: al-Bukhārī, this ruling being specific to the Prophet ﷺ personally (and, by extension of scholarly consensus, to his family), since charity (ṣadaqah) is impure in relation to their station, whereas a gift (hadiyyah), given out of love and honor, was accepted and reciprocated.
