مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُسْرٍ الْمَازِنِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ
Three-Narrator Ahadith 302
ʿAbdullāh ibn Busr (may Allah be pleased with him) reported:
My sister would sometimes send me with something as a gift to the Prophet ﷺ, and he would accept it from me.

حَدَّثَنَا عِصَامُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بُسْرٍ، قَالَ: «كَانَتْ أُخْتِي رُبَّمَا بَعَثَتْنِي بِالشَّيْءِ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، تُطْرِفُهُ إِيَّاهُ فَيَقْبَلُهُ مِنِّي

Chain: ʿIṣām ibn Khālid al-Ḥimṣī → al-Ḥasan ibn Ayyūb al-Ḥaḍramī → ʿAbdullāh ibn Busr (may Allah be pleased with him) → the Prophet ﷺ. Rijāl: (1) ʿIṣām ibn Khālid al-Ḥimṣī: ṣadūq. (2) al-Ḥasan ibn Ayyūb al-Ḥaḍramī: maqbūl, a minor Syrian narrator known chiefly through this family of reports. (3) ʿAbdullāh ibn Busr: as above. Takhrīj: Abū Dāwūd and al-Tirmidhī have similar reports on the Prophet's acceptance of gifts; the sister mentioned is al-Ṣammāʾ bint Busr al-Māziniyyah (may Allah be pleased with her), herself a Companion.
