Three-Narrator Ahadith 293
Salamah ibn al-Akwaʿ (may Allah be pleased with him) reported:
I fought seven military expeditions with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He mentioned al-Ḥudaybiyah, the day of Ḥunayn, the day of al-Qarad, and the day of Khaybar. Yazīd said, “I have forgotten the rest.”

Musnad Aḥmad 293

according to the conditions of al-Bukhārī and Muslim.
Chain: Aḥmad → Ḥammād ibn Masʿadah → Yazīd ibn Abī ʿUbayd → Salamah ibn al-Akwaʿ (may Allah be pleased with him) → witnessed directly. Rijāl: as above. Takhrīj: al-Bukhārī. Yawm al-Qarad (also spelled al-Ghābah/Dhū Qarad) refers to the raid described in the additional narration further below, in which Salamah recovered the Prophet's plundered camels from the Ghaṭafān and Fazārah raiders; this hadith thus confirms that episode as a distinct military engagement (ghazwah) in its own right, though led largely by a small pursuit party rather than the full army.
