مُسْنَدُ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ
Three-Narrator Ahadith 281
Salamah ibn al-Akwaʿ (may Allah be pleased with him) is reported by Yazīd ibn Abī ʿUbayd, who said:
I asked Salamah ibn al-Akwaʿ, “On what did you pledge allegiance to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the day of al-Ḥudaybiyah?” He said, “We pledged to him upon death.”

حَدَّثَنَا صَفْوَانُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِسَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ: عَلَى أَيِّ شَيْءٍ بَايَعْتُمْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَوْمَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ؟ قَالَ: «بَايَعْنَاهُ عَلَى الْمَوْتِ

(2) Yazīd ibn Abī ʿUbayd: Yazīd ibn Abī ʿUbayd al-Aslamī, mawlā of Salamah; thiqah. (3) Salamah ibn al-Akwaʿ: Salamah ibn ʿAmr ibn al-Akwaʿ; Companion (Ṣaḥābī); present at Bayʿat al-Riḍwān; d. 74 AH.
