Three-Narrator Ahadith 232
ʿAbdullāh ibn Abī Awfā (may Allah be pleased with him) reported:
I asked him, “Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ give Khadījah, may Allah be pleased with her, glad tidings?” He said, “Yes, he gave her glad tidings of a house in Paradise of hollow pearl, in which there is neither clamor nor toil.” [The sub-narrator] Yaʿlā added: he once said, “neither clamor” or “neither idle speech, nor toil.”

on the conditions of al-Bukhārī and Muslim.
Chain: ʿAbdullāh ibn Numayr and Yaʿlā ibn ʿUbayd → Ismāʿīl ibn Abī Khālid → ʿAbdullāh ibn Abī Awfā (may Allah be pleased with him). Rijāl: (1) ʿAbdullāh ibn Numayr al-Hamdānī al-Kūfī: thiqah. (2) Yaʿlā ibn ʿUbayd al-Ṭanāfisī: thiqah, though some critics noted mild reservations specifically regarding his narrations from Sufyān al-Thawrī, which do not apply here. (3) Ismāʿīl ibn Abī Khālid: Ismāʿīl ibn Abī Khālid al-Aḥmasī al-Bajalī (d. 146 AH); thiqah thabt. (4) Ibn Abī Awfā: ʿAbdullāh ibn Abī Awfā; Companion (Ṣaḥābī); one of the Companions of the Tree (Bayʿat al-Riḍwān) and the last Companion to die in Kūfah, 86–87 AH. Takhrīj: al-Bukhārī (3820, 3821); Muslim (2432). Commentary: A near-identical restatement of the same report through two additional senior narrators from Ismāʿīl ibn Abī Khālid, with Yaʿlā preserving an alternate wording variant (“idle speech” in place of “clamor”) that the ḥadīth critics record as a minor lafẓī (wording) variation rather than a substantive difference in meaning.
