مُسْنَدُ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ خَادِمِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ
Three-Narrator Ahadith 210
ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz ibn Ṣuhayb reported:
Anas ibn Mālik (may Allah be pleased with him) was asked about garlic, and he said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Whoever has eaten anything from this plant must not come near us”—or he said, “must not pray with us [in the mosque].” Reference: Musnad Aḥmad 210
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ صُهَيْبٍ، قَالَ: سُئِلَ أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ عَنِ الثُّومِ، فَقَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ أَكَلَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الشَّجَرَةِ شَيْئًا فَلَا يَقْرَبَنَّ — أَوْ لَا يُصَلِّيَنَّ — مَعَنَا».
