Anas ibn Mālik (may Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The iqāmah for prayer was called while there was an altercation between the Prophet ﷺ and his wives, and he was trying to keep them apart from one another. Abū Bakr came and said: “Throw dust in their mouths, O Messenger of Allah, and come out to the prayer!”

Musnad Aḥmad 101

Chain: Aḥmad ibn Ḥanbal → [Muḥammad] ibn Abī ʿAdiyy → Ḥumayd al-Ṭawīl → Anas ibn Mālik (may Allah be pleased with him) → the Prophet ﷺ. Rijāl: [Muḥammad] ibn Abī ʿAdiyy: thiqa thabt. Ḥumayd al-Ṭawīl: thiqa. Anas ibn Mālik: Companion. The expression “throw dust in their mouths” is a well-known Arabic idiom meaning to silence someone or put an end to an argument. Takhrīj: Aḥmad (3/104), no. 12014; Muslim (525). The fuller account in Muslim describes the altercation as occurring between ʿĀʾishah and Zaynab (may Allah be pleased with them both).
