From Iyas bin 'Abd al-Muzani who said: "The Prophet (saws) prohibited selling water."

[He said:] There are narrations on this topic from Jabir, Buhaisah from her father, Abu Hurairah, 'Aishah, Anas and 'Abdullah bin 'Amr.

[Abu 'Eisa said:] The Hadith is Iyas is a Hasan Sahih Hadith. This is acted upon according to most of the people of knowledge, they dislike selling water. This is the view of Ibn Al-Mubarak, Ash-Shafi'i, Ahmad, and Ishaq. Some of the people of knowledge permitted selling water, Al-Hasan al-Basri is one of them.

That the Messenger of Allah (saws) said: "The earnings of the cupper is filth, the earnings of the fornicator (from harlotry) is filth, and the price of a dog is filth."

[He said:] There are narrations on this topic from 'Umar, 'Ali, Ibn Mas'ud, Abu Masu'd, Jabir, Abu Hurairah, Ibn 'Abbas, Ibn 'Umar, and 'Abdullah bin Ja'far.

[Abu 'Eisa said:] The Hadith is Rafi' is a Hasan Sahih Hadith. This is acted upon according to most of the people of knowledge, they disliked the price of a dog. This the view of Ash-Shafi'i, Ahmad, and Ishaq. Some of the people of knowledge permitted the price of the hunting dog.

"The Messenger of Allah (saws) was cupped. Abu Talhah did the cupping. So he ordered that he be given two Sa' of food, and he spoke to his masters to reduce his taxes. He said: 'The most virtuous of what you treat with is cupping.' Or, he said: 'The best of your treatments is cupping.'"

[He said:] There are narrations on this topic from 'Ali, Ibn 'Abbas, and Ibn 'Umar.

[Abu 'Eisa said:] The Hadith of Anas is a Hasan Sahih. Some of the people of knowledge among the Companions of the Prophet (saws), and others permitted paying the cupper. This is the view of Ash-Shafi'i.

"The Messenger of Allah (saws) took a camel of a particular age on loan. He gave back to him a camel of a better age than the one he was given. He said: 'The best among you is the best in repaying.'"

He said: There is something on this topic from Abu Rafi'.

[Abu 'Eisa said:] The Hadith of Abu Hurairah is a Hasan Sahih Hadith. Shu'bah and Sufyan reported it from Salamah.

This is acted upon according to some of the people of knowledge, they saw no harm is taking a camel of a particular age as a loan. This is the view of Ash-Shafi'i, Ahmad, and Ishaq. But some of them disliked that.

Messenger of Allah (PBUH) recited, "That Day it (the earth) will reveal its news (about all that happened over it of good or evil)." (99:4). Then he (PBUH) inquired, "Do you know what its news are?" He was told: "Allah and His Messenger know better". He said, "Its news is that it shall bear witness against every slave man and woman they did on its back. It will say: 'You did this and this on such and such day.' Those will be its news."

Abu Hurairah (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) cursed the women who frequently visit the graves. Related At-Tirmidhi and Ibn Hibban graded it as Sahih.

An-Nu’man bin al-Bashir (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) said, “Verily supplication is worship.” Related by the four Imams and At-Tirmidhi graded it as Sahih,

Samurah (RAA) narrated that The Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) said, “Kill the mature men of the polytheists but spare their children.” Related by Abu Dawud and At-Tirmidhi graded it as Sahih.

The Prophet (SAW) then said, "Food for food, and a vessel for a vessel." [at-Tirmidhi graded it Sahih (authentic)].

Allah's Messenger (SAW) entered my house and prayed eight Rak'at of Duha prayer. [Reported by Ibn Hibban in his Sahih].

In the narration of al-Hakim quoted in the al-Arba'in with a Sahih Isnad, "He (SAW) prayed Zuhr and 'Asr then rode (his beast, to continue his journey.)"

The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: "He whom Allah intends good, He makes him to suffer from some affliction".

Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "There are two blessings in which many people incur loss. (They are) health and free time (for doing good)".

Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said. "The (Hell) Fire is surrounded with all kinds of desires and passions, while Jannah is surrounded with adversities."

The Prophet (PBUH) said, "(Prophet) Dawud (PBUH) ate only out of that which he earned through his manual work."

Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "Protect yourself from Hell-fire even by giving a piece of date as charity."

Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "Allah, the Exalted, says, 'Spend, O son of Adam, you will also be spent upon."

A slave-girl of Al-Madinah would take hold of the hand of the Prophet (PBUH) and take him wherever she desired.

The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "Hear and obey even if an Abyssinian slave whose head is like a raisin is placed in authority over you."

Messenger of Allah (PBUH) liked to use his right hand in all matters: in combing his hair and wearing his shoes.

The Prophet (PBUH) visited us and we brought water for him in a brass vessel for his ablution and he performed ablution.

The body of Messenger of Allah (PBUH) was shrouded in three white Yemeni cotton garments, among which was neither a gown nor a turban.

I saw Messenger of Allah (PBUH) sitting in the compound of the Holy Ka'bah, with the thighs against the stomach and arms around his legs.

The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "There is no infection and no evil omen; but if there is anything (that may be a source of trouble) then it could be a house, a horse, and a woman."

The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "Do not abuse the dead, because they have attained that which they had forwarded (i.e., their deeds, good or bad)."

A man sought permission for audience with the Prophet (PBUH). He said, "Give him permission but he is a bad member of his tribe."

The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "When Ramadan begins, the gates of Jannah are opened, the gates of Hell are closed, and the devils are chained."

I pledged allegiance to the Prophet (PBUH) to establish Salat, to pay the Zakat and to have the welfare of every Muslim at heart.

The Prophet (PBUH) said, "(The performance of) 'Umrah during Ramadan is equal to Hajj (pilgrimage)." Or said, "Equal to the performance of Hajj with me."

The Prophet (PBUH) said, "Goodness is tied to the foreheads of horses until the Day of Resurrection, i.e., reward (in the Hereafter) and spoils."

The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "He who is killed while defending his property is a martyr."

Whenever the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) got up (from sleep), he would rub his teeth with Miswak (tooth-stick).

The Prophet (PBUH) performed the night prayer in pairs (i.e., Rak'ah) and made it odd number by observing one Rak'ah (as Witr).

The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "When one of you intends to come for the Friday prayer, he should take a bath."

The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "Taking a bath (before coming to Friday prayers) is obligatory on every adult."

When the Prophet (PBUH) had performed two Rak'ah before the Fajr prayer, he would lie down on his right side.

The Prophet (PBUH) never omitted four Rak'ah prayer before the Zuhr prayer and two Rak'ah prayers before dawn (Fajr) prayer.

The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "Salat in congregation is twenty-seven times more meritorious than a Salat performed individually."

Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "He who The observes Al-Bardan (i.e., Fajr and 'Asr prayers) will enter Jannah."

The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) would not come (back) to his family by night. He used to come in the morning or in the evening (before dark).

The Prophet (PBUH) said, "If a person dies without observing Saum (fasts), his Wali should make it up on his behalf."

The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "The dwellers of Jannah will see the upper abodes of Jannah as you see the stars in the sky."

I saw Messenger of Allah (PBUH) lying down on his back in the mosque, placing one leg on the other.

‘Uthman reported God’s messenger as saying, “If anyone performs the ablution well, his sins will come out from his body, even coming out from under his nails.” (Bukhari and Muslim.)

Abu Huraira reported God’s messenger as saying, “Fast when you see it and break your fast when you see it, and if the weather is cloudy treat Sha‘ban as having thirty days.” (Bukhari and Muslim.)

Salim reported on his father's authority that God’s Messenger said, "If anyone takes any land without having a right he will be swallowed up seven earths deep on the day of resurrection.” Bukhari transmitted it.
