Mishkat al-Masabih 219
Abu Huraira reported God’s messenger as saying, “Two qualities
are not found together in a hypocrite:
good behaviour and knowledge
of religion.” Tirmidhi transmitted it.
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
" خَصْلَتَانِ لَا تَجْتَمِعَانِ فِي مُنَافِقٍ: حُسْنُ سَمْتٍ وَلَا فِقْهٌ فِي الدّين ". رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ
