مُسْنَدُ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ خَادِمِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ
Three-Narrator Ahadith 87
Muḥammad ibn Fuḍayl narrated to us:
al-Aʻmash informed us, from Anas, who said, “The coat of mail of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ remained pawned [with a Jewish man]; he did not find the means to redeem it until he died.”

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: «كَانَتْ دِرْعُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَرْهُونَةً مَا وَجَدَ مَا يَفْتَكُّهَا حَتَّى مَاتَ»
