مُسْنَدُ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ خَادِمِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ
Three-Narrator Ahadith 65
Muʻtamir ibn Sulaymān narrated to us, saying his father said:
Anas ibn Mālik narrated to us. “I think he said: Two men sneezed in the presence of the Prophet ﷺ, and he invoked mercy upon one of them but not the other. It was said, ‘Two men sneezed; you invoked mercy upon one of them and not the other.’ He said, ‘This one praised Allah, the Mighty and Majestic.’”

حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ: قَالَ أَبِي: حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ، حَسِبْتُهُ قَالَ: عَطَسَ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلَانِ، فَشَمَّتَ أَحَدَهُمَا - أَوْ قَالَ: سَمَّتَ - وَتَرَكَ الْآخَرَ، فَقِيلَ: رَجُلَانِ عَطَسَ أَحَدُهُمَا فَشَمَّتَّهُ وَلَمْ تُشَمِّتِ الْآخَرَ، فَقَالَ: «إِنَّ هَذَا حَمِدَ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ»
