مُسْنَدُ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ خَادِمِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ
Three-Narrator Ahadith 47
Ismāʻīl [ibn Ibrāhīm ibn ʻUlayyah] narrated to us from Sulaymān al-Taymī, from Anas ibn Mālik, who said, “Two men sneezed in the presence of the Prophet ﷺ, and he invoked mercy upon one of them but not upon the other. It was said [to him], ‘Two men sneezed, and you invoked mercy upon one of them but not upon the other; why is that?’ He replied, ‘This one praised Allah, and this one did not praise Allah.’”
