Sahih al-Bukhari
Salamah ibn al-Akwaʿ (may Allah be pleased with him) reported:
"I participated in seven military expeditions (ghazawāt) alongside the Prophet ﷺ, and I also participated [in others] under Zayd ibn Ḥārithah when the Prophet ﷺ appointed him as our commander."

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الأَكْوَعِ رضى الله عنه قَالَ: «غَزَوْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم سَبْعَ غَزَوَاتٍ، وَغَزَوْتُ مَعَ ابْنِ حَارِثَةَ اسْتَعْمَلَهُ عَلَيْنَا».

Takhrīj: Al-Bukhārī in al-Maghāzī (4499), chapter: The Battle of Ḥunayn; Muslim in al-Jihād (1418), chapter: The number of the Prophet's expeditions; Aḥmad (4/40) with the wording: "I went on expeditions with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)" — Yazīd then listed al-Ḥudaybiyyah, the Day of Qarad, and the Day of Khaybar, adding: "and I have forgotten the rest."
