Sahih al-Bukhari
Kharīz ibn ʿUthmān reported:
"I asked ʿAbd Allāh ibn Busr (may Allah be pleased with him), the Companion of the Prophet ﷺ: 'Did you see the Prophet ﷺ when he was in old age?' He replied: 'He had a few white hairs in the tuft of his ʿanfaqah [the hair between the lower lip and chin].'"

حَدَّثَنَا عِصَامُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَرِيزُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ: أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ بُسْرٍ صَاحِبَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ: «أَرَأَيْتَ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ شَيْخًا؟». قَالَ: «كَانَ فِي عَنْفَقَتِهِ شَعَرَاتٌ بِيضٌ».

Chain: al-Bukhārī → ʿIṣām ibn Khālid → Kharīz ibn ʿUthmān → ʿAbd Allāh ibn Busr (may Allah be pleased with him) → the Prophet (ﷺ) or about him. Rijāl: (1) ʿIṣām ibn Khālid: Thiqa ḥāfiẓ. (2) Kharīz ibn ʿUthmān: Thiqa. (3) ʿAbd Allāh ibn Busr al-Mālikī: A Companion; said to have lived to 96 or to 100 years of age; he was the last Companion to die in al-Shām. (Taqrīb, 1/420.) Takhrīj: Al-Bukhārī in al-Manāqib (3546), chapter: The description of the Prophet (ﷺ); Aḥmad (4/188–189, 190) with a ṣaḥīḥ isnād on al-Bukhārī's conditions. Note: Al-Ḥākim included this in al-Mustadrak (3/507), claiming al-Bukhārī and Muslim did not narrate it; al-Dhahabī rebutted him, saying: "I say: Al-Bukhārī did narrate it!"
