Ghudaif b. al-Harith ath-Thumali reported God’s messenger as saying, “No people introduce an innovation without its equivalent being withdrawn from the sunna; so holding firmly to a sunna is better than introducing an innovation.”
Ahmad transmitted it.

Mishkat al-Masabih 2093
Ibn ‘Umar said God’s messenger was asked about lailat al-qadr and replied, “It occurs every Ramadan.”
Abu Dawud transmitted it and said that Sufyan and Shu'ba transmitted it on the authority of Abu
Ishaq tracing it no farther back than Ibn ‘Umar.

Abu Umama told that God’s Messenger gave ‘Ali a youth and said, “Do not beat him, for I have been prohibited from beating people who observe the prayer, and I have seen him praying.”

Salman reported God’s messenger as saying, “Your Lord is munificent and generous, and is ashamed to turn away empty the hands of a servant when he raises them to Him .”

Mishkat al-Masabih 2362
He reported God’s messenger as saying, “If anyone meets God, not having treated anything as equal to Him in the world, and has committed sins equal in quantity to the mountains, God will forgive him.”

Sahih Muslim 1115 b
'Amr b. al-Hasan is reported to have said that he heard Jabir b. 'Abdullah (Allah be pleased with both of them) as saying that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) saw a man. The rest of the hadith is the same as mentioned above.

'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that Hamza b. 'Amr al-Aslami asked the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) about fasting on a journey, and he (the Holy Prophet) said:

The Messenger of Allah
(saw) observed I’tifak in a Turkish tent, over the door of which
was a
piece of reed matting. He pushed the mat aside, then he put his
head
out and spoke to the people.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى الصَّنْعَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، حَدَّثَنِي عُمَارَةُ بْنُ غَزِيَّةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ اعْتَكَفَ فِي قُبَّةٍ تُرْكِيَّةٍ عَلَى سُدَّتِهَا قِطْعَةُ حَصِيرٍ . قَالَ فَأَخَذَ الْحَصِيرَ بِيَدِهِ فَنَحَّاهَا فِي نَاحِيَةِ الْقُبَّةِ ثُمَّ أَطْلَعَ رَأْسَهُ فَكَلَّمَ النَّاسَ .

narrated from Abu Kabshah Al-Anmari that the Prophet (saw)

cupped on his head and between his shoulders, and he said:
“Whoever
lets blood from these places, it does not matter if he does
not seek
treatment for anything else.”

“I heard the
Messenger of Allah (saw) reciting on the pulpit: ‘And make ready
against them all you can of power.’[8:60] (And saying that) three
times – ‘Power means shooting.”
حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى، أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ أَبِي عَلِيٍّ الْهَمْدَانِيِّ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيَّ، يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقْرَأُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ " {وَأَعِدُّوا لَهُمْ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ مِنْ قُوَّةٍ} أَلاَ وَإِنَّ الْقُوَّةَ الرَّمْىُ " ثَلاَثَ مَرَّاتٍ .

‘Aishah

used to send the sacrificial animal from Al-Madinah, and I would
twist the garlands for his sacrificial animal, then, he would not
(because of that) avoid the things that the one in Ihram avoids.”

a share of that, for Allah will put something good in his house
because of that prayer.”

to be
found, fleeing for the sake of his religion from tribulations.”

Umar bin al-Khattab told me that he heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: “I shall certainly expel the Jews and Christians from the Arabian Peninsula so that I will not leave anyone but Muslims.`

Musnad Ahmad 350
It was narrated from Ibn al Musayyab that `Umar (رضي الله عنه) said:
One of the last verses to be revealed was the verse on riba, and when the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) died, he had not explained it. So avoid riba and any dubious matter.

Sunan an-Nasa'i 1791
It was narrated from Abdur-Rahman bin Abdul-Qari that:
Umar bin Al-Khattab said: "(The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said): "Whoever sleeps and misses his nightly portion, and reads it between Subh and Zuhr prayers, it is as if he read it at night.'"
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدٍ الْقَارِيِّ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ، يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" مَنْ نَامَ عَنْ حِزْبِهِ - أَوْ قَالَ جُزْئِهِ - مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَقَرَأَهُ فِيمَا بَيْنَ صَلاَةِ الصُّبْحِ إِلَى صَلاَةِ الظُّهْرِ فَكَأَنَّمَا قَرَأَهُ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ " .

Sahih al-Bukhari 7479
Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Apostle said, "If Allah wills, tomorrow we will encamp in Khaif Bani Kinana, the place where the pagans took the oath of Kufr (disbelief) against the Prophet. He meant Al-Muhassab. (See Hadith 1589)
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ،. وَقَالَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" نَنْزِلُ غَدًا إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ بِخَيْفِ بَنِي كِنَانَةَ حَيْثُ تَقَاسَمُوا عَلَى الْكُفْرِ ". يُرِيدُ الْمُحَصَّبَ.

Sahih al-Bukhari 4270
Narrated Salama bin Al-Akwa`:
I fought in seven Ghazwat (i.e. battles) along with the Prophet and fought in nine battles, fought by armies dispatched by the Prophet. Once Abu Bakr was our commander and at another time, Usama was our commander.

Al-Faḍl bin Sahl narrated to me, Walīd bin Sālih narrated to us, he said, Ubayd Allah bin Amr said, Zayd- meaning Ibn Abī Unaysah – said:
‘Do not take [Ḥadīth] from my brother ’.

Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri:
Allah's Apostle said, "A time will soon come when the best property of a Muslim will be sheep which he will take on the top of mountains and the places of rainfall (valleys) so as to flee with his religion from afflictions."

" يُوشِكُ أَنْ يَكُونَ خَيْرَ مَالِ الْمُسْلِمِ غَنَمٌ يَتْبَعُ بِهَا شَعَفَ الْجِبَالِ وَمَوَاقِعَ الْقَطْرِ، يَفِرُّ بِدِينِهِ مِنَ الْفِتَنِ ".

that his uncle said, "I saw Allah's Apostle lying flat (on his back) in the mosque with one leg on the other." Narrated Sa`id bin Al-Musaiyab that `Umar and `Uthman used to do the same.

Narrated `Abdullah bin Zaid Al-Ansari:
The Prophet went out towards the Musalla in order to offer the Istisqa' prayer and when he intended to invoke (Allah) or started invoking, he faced the Qibla and turned his cloak inside out.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، أَنَّ عَبَّادَ بْنَ تَمِيمٍ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ زَيْدٍ الأَنْصَارِيَّ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم خَرَجَ إِلَى الْمُصَلَّى يُصَلِّي، وَأَنَّهُ لَمَّا دَعَا ـ أَوْ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَدْعُوَ ـ اسْتَقْبَلَ الْقِبْلَةَ وَحَوَّلَ رِدَاءَهُ. قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ابْنُ زَيْدٍ هَذَا مَازِنِيٌّ، وَالأَوَّلُ كُوفِيٌّ هُوَ ابْنُ يَزِيدَ.

We used to give one Sa' of meal or one Sa' of barley or one Sa' of dates, or one Sa' of cottage cheese or one Sa' of Raisins (dried grapes) as Zakat-ul-Fitr.

Narrated Al-Miqdam:
The Prophet said, "Nobody has ever eaten a better meal than that which one has earned by working with one's own hands. The Prophet of Allah, David used to eat from the earnings of his manual labor."

" مَا أَكَلَ أَحَدٌ طَعَامًا قَطُّ خَيْرًا مِنْ أَنْ يَأْكُلَ مِنْ عَمَلِ يَدِهِ، وَإِنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ دَاوُدَ ـ عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ ـ كَانَ يَأْكُلُ مِنْ عَمَلِ يَدِهِ ".

Sunan an-Nasa'i 2737
It was narrated that Tawus said:
"Mu'awiyah saide to Ibmn 'Abbas: "do you know that I cut the hair of the Messenger of Allah at Al-Marwah?" He said: "No." Ibn 'Abbas said: "This Mu'awiyah forbids the people to perform Tamattu' but the Prophet performed Tamattue."
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ حُجَيْرٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، قَالَ قَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ لاِبْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَعَلِمْتَ أَنِّي قَصَّرْتُ مِنْ رَأْسِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عِنْدَ الْمَرْوَةِ قَالَ لاَ . يَقُولُ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ هَذَا مُعَاوِيَةُ يَنْهَى النَّاسَ عَنِ الْمُتْعَةِ وَقَدْ تَمَتَّعَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم .

It was narrated that An-Numan bin Abi 'Ayyash said:
"I heard Abu Saeed Al-Khudri say: 'The Messenger of Allah said: Whoever fasts one day in the cause of Allah will separate his face from the fire by (a distance of) seventy autumns."'

" مَنْ صَامَ يَوْمًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ بَاعَدَهُ اللَّهُ عَنِ النَّارِ سَبْعِينَ خَرِيفًا " .

'Abdullah bin Al-Harith narrated that a man from among the Companions of th Prophet said:
"I entered upon the Prophet when he was having Sahur. He sadi: 'It is a blessing that Allah has given to you, so do not neglect it."
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ، صَاحِبِ الزِّيَادِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ الْحَارِثِ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ رَجُلٍ، مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ دَخَلْتُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَهُوَ يَتَسَحَّرُ فَقَالَ
" إِنَّهَا بَرَكَةٌ أَعْطَاكُمُ اللَّهُ إِيَّاهَا فَلاَ تَدَعُوهُ " .

It was narrated that Urwah bin Mudarris said:
"I saw the Messenger of Allah stading in Al-Muzdalifah and he said: 'Whoever offers this prayer whith us here then stands with us and stood before that in Arafat by nightor by day, his Hajj is complete.
أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، وَدَاوُدَ، وَزَكَرِيَّا، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ مُضَرِّسٍ، قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَاقِفًا بِالْمُزْدَلِفَةِ فَقَالَ
" مَنْ صَلَّى مَعَنَا صَلاَتَنَا هَذِهِ هَا هُنَا ثُمَّ أَقَامَ مَعَنَا وَقَدْ وَقَفَ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ بِعَرَفَةَ لَيْلاً أَوْ نَهَارًا فَقَدْ تَمَّ حَجُّهُ " .

Sunan an-Nasa'i 3366
It was narrated from 'Abdullah and Al-Hasan, the sons of Muhammad bin 'Ali, from their father, from 'Ali bin Abi Talib, that the Messenger of Allah on the Day of Khaibar forbade temporary marriage to women, and (he also forbade) the meat of tame donkeys.
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، وَالْحَارِثُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ، قِرَاءَةً عَلَيْهِ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ، - وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ - قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا ابْنُ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، وَالْحَسَنِ، ابْنَىْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ أَبِيهِمَا، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَهَى عَنْ مُتْعَةِ النِّسَاءِ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ وَعَنْ لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ الإِنْسِيَّةِ .

Sunan an-Nasa'i 4292
It was narrated from Abu Bakr bin 'Abdur-Rahman bin Al-Harith bin Hisham that her heard Abu Mas ud 'Uqbah say:
"The Messenger of Allah forbade the price of a dog, the gift of a female fornicator and the fees of a fortuneteller."( Sahih)
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا مَسْعُودٍ، عُقْبَةَ قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنْ ثَمَنِ الْكَلْبِ وَمَهْرِ الْبَغِيِّ وَحُلْوَانِ الْكَاهِنِ .

Sunan an-Nasa'i 4800
It was narrated from Al- Qasim bin Rabi'ah that the Messenger jof Allah said:
"The accident that resembles on purpose, meaning (killing) with a stick or a whip, (for which the Diyah is) one hundred camels, of which forty should be (pregnant she-camels), with their young in their wombs."
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَهْلُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" الْخَطَأُ شِبْهُ الْعَمْدِ - يَعْنِي بِالْعَصَا وَالسَّوْطِ - مِائَةٌ مِنَ الإِبِلِ مِنْهَا أَرْبَعُونَ فِي بُطُونِهَا أَوْلاَدُهَا " .

It was narrated that 'Abdullah said:
"The Messenger of Allah [SAW] cursed the women who do tattoos and the women who have them done, Al-Mutanammisat, and the women who have their teeth separated for the sake of beauty, those who change (the creation of Allah.)"

It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin Zurair Al-Ghafiqi said:
"I heard 'Ali say: 'The Messenger of Allah [SAW] took some gold in his right hand and some silk in his left hand and said: This is forbidden for the males of my Ummah.'"
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ أَبِي الصَّعْبَةِ، عَنْ أَبِي أَفْلَحَ الْهَمْدَانِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ زُرَيْرٍ الْغَافِقِيِّ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَلِيًّا، يَقُولُ أَخَذَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ذَهَبًا بِيَمِينِهِ وَحَرِيرًا بِشِمَالِهِ فَقَالَ
" هَذَا حَرَامٌ عَلَى ذُكُورِ أُمَّتِي " .

Sunan an-Nasa'i 5180
Ibn Hunain narrated that 'Ali said to him:
"The Messenger of Allah [SAW] forbade me (from wearing) garments dyed with safflower, and from gold rings, and from wearing Al-Qassi, and that I recite Qur'an while I am bowing."

"The Messenger of Allah (SAW) received Revelation when he was forty years old. So he stayed in Makkah for thirteen years and in Al-Madinah for ten. And he died when he was sixty-three years old."

"A garment of silk was gifted to the Messenger of Allah (SAW) so they began to marvel at its softness, so the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: 'Do you marvel at this? Indeed, the handkerchiefs of Sa'd bin Mu'adh in Paradise are better than this.'"
حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ، قَالَ أُهْدِيَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ثَوْبٌ حَرِيرٌ فَجَعَلُوا يَعْجَبُونَ مِنْ لِينِهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" تَعْجَبُونَ مِنْ هَذَا لَمَنَادِيلُ سَعْدِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَحْسَنُ مِنْ هَذَا " . وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَنَسٍ . وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .

Narrated Thawban:
The Prophet (saws) said: For each forgetfulness there are two prostrations after giving the salutation.
No one except Amr (ibn Uthman) mentioned the words "from his father" (in the chain AbdurRahman ibn Jubayr ibn Nufayr from Thawban).
حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، وَالرَّبِيعُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ، وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَشُجَاعُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ، - بِمَعْنَى الإِسْنَادِ - أَنَّ ابْنَ عَيَّاشٍ، حَدَّثَهُمْ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ الْكَلاَعِيِّ، عَنْ زُهَيْرٍ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَالِمٍ الْعَنْسِيِّ - عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ، قَالَ عَمْرٌو وَحْدَهُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" لِكُلِّ سَهْوٍ سَجْدَتَانِ بَعْدَ مَا يُسَلِّمُ " . لَمْ يَذْكُرْ عَنْ أَبِيهِ . غَيْرُ عَمْرٍو .

Judama bint Wahb al-Asadiyya (Allah be pleased with her) reported:
I heard Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) saying this. The rest of the hadith is the same concerning 'azl and ghila (cohabitating with a suckling woman), but with a slight variation of words.
وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ نَوْفَلٍ الْقُرَشِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، عَنْ جُدَامَةَ بِنْتِ وَهْبٍ، الأَسَدِيَّةِ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم . فَذَكَرَ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ فِي الْعَزْلِ وَالْغِيلَةِ . غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ

Allah knows that one of you is a liar. Is there one to repent among you?

Jabir b. 'Abdullah al-Ansari reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) prohibited the (preparation of) Nabidh by mixing together fresh dates and grapes, and he prohibited the preparation of Nabidh by mixing the fresh dates and unripe dates together.

"The Messenger of Allah refused Uthman bin Ma'zun (when he asked) regarding celibacy, and if he had permitted it for him, then we would have castrated ourselves."

Abu Sa'eed narrated:
"The Messenger of Allah(S.A.W) would seek refuge from the jinn and the (evil) eye of humans, until Al-Mu'awwidhatain were revealed. So when they were revealed he used them and left other than them."
حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ يُونُسَ الْكُوفِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ الْمُزَنِيُّ، عَنِ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَتَعَوَّذُ مِنَ الْجَانِّ وَعَيْنِ الإِنْسَانِ حَتَّى نَزَلَتِ الْمُعَوِّذَتَانِ فَلَمَّا نَزَلَتَا أَخَذَ بِهِمَا وَتَرَكَ مَا سِوَاهُمَا . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَنَسٍ . وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ .

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Prophet (s.a.w) said:
"Beware of evil with each other, for indeed it is the Haliqah."
[The meaning of his saying]: "Süw'a Dhãt Al-Bain (evil with each other) is enmity and hatred, and his saying: "The Haliqah" [it is said] that it severs the religion.

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Prophet (s.a.w) said:
"Indeed a disbeliever's skin will be forty-two forearm lengths thick, his molar teeth will be like Uhud (mountain), and his sitting place in Hell will be like what is between Makkah and Al-Madinah."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّاسٌ الدُّورِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى، أَخْبَرَنَا شَيْبَانُ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" إِنَّ غِلَظَ جِلْدِ الْكَافِرِ اثْنَانِ وَأَرْبَعُونَ ذِرَاعًا وَإِنَّ ضِرْسَهُ مِثْلُ أُحُدٍ وَإِنَّ مَجْلِسَهُ مِنْ جَهَنَّمَ كَمَا بَيْنَ مَكَّةَ وَالْمَدِينَةِ " . هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ حَدِيثِ الأَعْمَشِ .

That the Prophet (saws) said: "A worshipper does not fast a day in the cause of Allah except that, that day (of fasting) distances the Fire from his face by seventy autumns."
[Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.

" لاَ يَصُومُ عَبْدٌ يَوْمًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ إِلاَّ بَاعَدَ ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمُ النَّارَ عَنْ وَجْهِهِ سَبْعِينَ خَرِيفًا " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .

That the Messenger of Allah (saws) said, "Whoever prepares a fighter in Allah's cause, or looks after the family of a fighter, then he has participated in a military expedition."
[Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.

قُلْتُ لِلزُّهْرِيِّ وَمَا الْعَاقِبُ قَالَ الَّذِي لَيْسَ بَعْدَهُ نَبِيٌّ . وَفِي حَدِيثِ مَعْمَرٍ وَعُقَيْلٍ الْكَفَرَةَ
. وَفِي حَدِيثِ شُعَيْبٍ الْكُفْرَ .

When I went to Thumama bin `Abdullah, he gave me some perfume and said that Anas would not reject the gifts of perfume. Anas said: The Prophet used not to reject the gifts of perfume.

Narrated Anas:
That when Abu Bakr became the Caliph, he sent him to Bahrain and wrote this letter for him, and stamped it with the Ring of the Prophet. Three lines were engraved on the Ring, (the word) 'Muhammad' was in a line, 'Apostle' was in another line, and 'Allah' in a third.

Narrated Al-Bara' bin `Azib:
The Prophet appointed `Abdullah bin Jubair as the commander of the cavalry archers on the day of the battle of Uhud. Then they returned defeated, and that what is referred to by Allah's Statement:-- "And the Apostle (Muhammad) was in your rear calling you back." (3.153)

In my presence, Usama was asked about the speed of the Prophet during his Hajj. He replied, "It was Al-`Anaq (i.e. moderate easy speed) and if he encountered an open space, he used to increase his speed."
