باب تَسْمِيَةِ الْعَبْدِ الآبِقِ كَافِرًا
Sahih Muslim 69
It is narrated on the authority of Jarir that the Messenger of Allah (may peace and blessings be upon him) observed:
The slave who fled from his master, responsibility with regard to him was absolved.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ جَرِيرٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" أَيُّمَا عَبْدٍ أَبَقَ فَقَدْ بَرِئَتْ مِنْهُ الذِّمَّةُ " .
