باب التَّعَوُّذِ مِنَ الْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ وَغَيْرِهِ

Sahih Muslim 2706 d

Anas reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) used to make this supplication:

"O Allah, I seek refuge with You from miserliness, laziness, utter senility, the torment of the grave and the trials of life and death."

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ نَافِعٍ الْعَبْدِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزُ بْنُ أَسَدٍ الْعَمِّيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ الأَعْوَرُ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ الْحَبْحَابِ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَدْعُو بِهَؤُلاَءِ الدَّعَوَاتِ ‏"‏ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْبُخْلِ وَالْكَسَلِ وَأَرْذَلِ الْعُمُرِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَفِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏
