Chapter: The Prophet (SAW) Wore A Ring Of Silver On Which Was Inscribed The Words Muhammad Rasul Allah (Muhammad the Messenger of Allah), And The Caliphs Wore It After He Died

بَاب لُبْسِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَاتَمًا مِنْ وَرِقٍ نَقْشُهُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ وَلُبْسِ الْخُلَفَاءِ لَهُ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ
Sahih Muslim 2092 b
This hadith has been reported on the authority of Anas through another chain of transmitters but there is no mention of the words (Muhammad, Messenger of Allah) in it.
وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ، وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا
إِسْمَاعِيلُ، - يَعْنُونَ ابْنَ عُلَيَّةَ - عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ صُهَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله
عليه وسلم بِهَذَا وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ فِي الْحَدِيثِ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ .
