(77)
Chapter: The Meaning of the Saying of Allah, The Mighty and Sublime: And indeed he saw him at a second descent (another time)"; And did the prophet (saws) see his lord on the night of the Isra?
(77)
باب مَعْنَى قَوْلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: {وَلَقَدْ رَآهُ نَزْلَةً أُخْرَى} وَهَلْ رَأَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَبَّهُ لَيْلَةَ الإِسْرَاءِ
Sahih Muslim 175
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that the (words of Allah):
" And certainly he saw him in another descent" (al-Qur'an, Iiii. 13) imply that he saw Gabriel.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، { وَلَقَدْ رَآهُ نَزْلَةً أُخْرَى} قَالَ رَأَى جِبْرِيلَ .
