Mishkat al-Masabih 2965
He reported God’s Messenger as saying, “When you disagree about a road its breadth should be made seven cubits.”
Muslim transmitted it.
وَعَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِذَا اخْتَلَفْتُمْ فِي الطَّرِيقِ جُعِلَ عرضه سَبْعَة أَذْرع» . رَوَاهُ مُسلم
