Mishkat al-Masabih 1434

Jabir said that on a festival day the Prophet would return by a different road from the one he had taken when going out. Bukhari transmitted it.

وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ عِيدٍ خَالَفَ الطَّرِيق. رَوَاهُ البُخَارِيّ
