باب الْوَرَعِ وَالتَّقْوَى
Sunan Ibn Majah 4219
It was
narrated from Samurah bin Jundab that the Messenger of Allah
(ﷺ)
said:
“Being honorable is wealth and noble character is piety.’
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَلَفٍ الْعَسْقَلاَنِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سَلاَّمُ بْنُ أَبِي مُطِيعٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدَبٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ
" الْحَسَبُ الْمَالُ وَالْكَرَمُ التَّقْوَى " .
