Chapter: What the Prophet (saws) recited to seek refuge for others and what was recited (in that regard) for him
(36)
باب مَا عَوَّذَ بِهِ النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ وَمَا عُوِّذَ بِهِ
Sunan Ibn Majah 3521
It was
narrated from ‘Aishah that one of the things that the Prophet
(ﷺ)
used to say for the sick person, with saliva on his finger
(dipped in
dust), was:
“Bismillah, turbatu ardina, biriqati ba’dina,
liyushfa
saqimuna. Bi’dhni Rabbina (In the Name of Allah, the dust of
our
land mixed with the saliva of one of us, to cure our sick one by
the
permission of our Lord).”
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ كَانَ مِمَّا يَقُولُ لِلْمَرِيضِ بِبُزَاقِهِ بِإِصْبَعِهِ
" بِسْمِ اللَّهِ بِتُرْبَةِ أَرْضِنَا بِرِيقَةِ بَعْضِنَا لِيُشْفَى سَقِيمُنَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّنَا " .
