Chapter: What was narrated concerning one who does the prostration after the Salam
(136)
باب مَا جَاءَ فِيمَنْ سَجَدَهُمَا بَعْدَ السَّلاَمِ
Sunan Ibn Majah 1219
It was
narrated that Thawban said:
“I heard the Messenger of Allah
(ﷺ)
say: ‘For every mistake there are two prostrations, after saying
the Salam.’”
حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ زُهَيْرِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ الْعَنْسِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ، عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَقُولُ
" فِي كُلِّ سَهْوٍ سَجْدَتَانِ بَعْدَ مَا يُسَلِّمُ " .
