Virtues of the Qur'an's Chapters and Verses
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited this sūrah in the two rakʿahs before fajr prayer and the two rakʿahs after maghrib prayer
قَرَأَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِهَذِهِ السُّورَةِ فِي الرَّكعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْفَجْرِ وَفِي الرَّكعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ
Virtues of the Qur'an's Chapters and Verses 72
Abdullah bin Masʿūd narrated:
"I cannot count how many times I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) reciting in the two rakʿahs after Maghrib and the two rakʿahs before Salat al-Fajr: Qul yā ayyuhal kāfirūn (Sūrat al-Kāfirūn), and Qul huwa Allāhu aḥad (Sūrat al-Ikhlāṣ).”

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَا أُحْصِي مَا سَمِعْتُ مِنْ، رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقْرَأُ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَفِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ صَلاَةِ الْفَجْرِ بِـ :(قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ ) وَ (قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ ).
